Corn rakes are usually hung up, they are never left lying on the floor. Corn harvest season was over for a while so there would have been no reason for the corn rake to be there where it could be stumbled over. And plus, farmers usually hang the rakes with the tines facing the wall. So explain why the corn rake was in the position to be fallen on?

I’m sorry but I do NOT believe that he would send his son to that shed if he knew he had stabbed her. He has been proven to be a good father and close to Kristen. There is no way that he would do that to his son
I also don’t believe he would send him to get the carrier knowing what he’ll find. I’ve watched all the testimony & they are both saying the same thing bout the events of the day.
I don't know...who else would there be to find her?? The two young children in the house? Not the boyfriend, because he was at his home 45 minutes away. It's a 50-50 for me. But, I think if he murdered her that it would be more likely that he'd send the son to look for her.
Not saying he did it or not but I don't think it's above him to have his son discover his mom Since in this testimony his son said his dead mom was on top of him in the truck on the way to the hospital. Modesty doesn't seem like a concern here.
I can see how upset he is when his son is called and this is a man that cares dearly about his children- I don’t believe he would put his son through this. What a terrible team he had - let him down badly.
@@nicolesmith7252 Adding blood from the body to what is already on the perpetrator is classic way to confuse the issue. I believe Todd did this to cover up his son's action. A credit to Todd's mother and father for raising a hard working son to become a good husband and loving father. A credit to Todd and Amy for raising Trystan, a young teen in a difficult situation. Todd is clearly INNOCENT. According to the facts presented he had no time to commit a murder. Amy got dizzy and fell. A retrial is definitely necessary.
Todd is guilty. 1: The corn rake should have never been on the ground, that is not how farmers take care of their tools. 2: He said he sent the boy to look for her after he said she was dizzy because she should have gone to the house. 3: Instead of trying to revive her, Todd's first inclination was to pick her up instead of calling 911 first. 4: Todd did not send the boy to get anything to stop the bleeding. 5: Todd did not administer any help to keep her alive. 6: The corn rake was not in her back, which means it had been pulled out. 7: She was on her hands and knees, which means she fell forward. 8: If she fell on the corn rake on her back, she could have only fallen over to the side. 9: The handle of the corn rake would have prevented her from moving. The only scenario would be that he came behind her, pushed her forward for her to fall forward and then stabbed her with the corn rake, leaving her in that position. What direction were the tines entered into her? Tines up means it would have had to been lying with the tines up. Tines down means that the tines would have been lying point down, therefore she could not have been punctured. Todd is guilty.
Especially if she took her pain meds right before heading out to work. They would've kicked in about the time she wondered off alone. They said they weren't in the shed for months before this, it was freezing, icy, with the door froze open. A raccoon, fox, owl, bat, possum, skunk, ANY CREATURE could've been in there, she climbs on the bucket or anything, gets spooked, dizzy and medicated. Did she have substance issues? Did she take her meds right? Did she double dose in order to help out and feel productive? To many what ifs. Note his dad HEARD HIS SON YELL FOR HIM yet they never heard ANYTHING like a scuffle or screaming back and forth as if someone attacked her. Which they could've obviously by his dad hearing him. I've been watching these and I left comments on other videos that I really want to post here also. I'll just reply to this with them. This guy got railroaded imo. Obviously if he's truly guilty I want him to face justice but reasonable doubt is lacking HEAVILY and that thirsty prosecutor or persecutor is like hateful and or jealous of their farm and life its so obvious. I think she loses one hair everytime she acts out of vindictive malice. Scary. I sware I'm never talking to police without council. You try to do the right thing but the world is against you! @@moorek1967 nah, there are holes in your theory, in my opinion. For starters everyone knows you would store that pitch fork handle down, forks up & flat side against wall, forks sticking outward, normally on a hook or 2 pegs of sorts. I see that one set of those puncture wounds were kind of superficial, while the 2nd set of puncture wounds were very deep. Her being dizzy or off balance ( was she on narcotic medication that added to the dizziness & was impaired by meds which would’ve also impaired her judgment & lessened the pain of superficial punctures) was she drug tested? (idk....I only watched what was on the new series on “HULU” “Killer Cases”) being on Narcotics, she could’ve fell back against the wall where they were hung up & pulled away after she landed the first time causing the more superficial punctures, then fell back again the 2nd time causing the fatal deeper wounds then fell to her hands & knees. You can’t say THAT isn’t a possibility. The rake was only on the ground after someone took it out of her back. Next opinion, I would have sent my kid to go look for his mother bc (if I were him also. what parent wouldn’t have) Todd was doing work that the son couldn’t do. So for Todd to keep working wouldn’t be unusual. The son was just hauling stuff in. I believe it WAS an accident. Did you see the handle? It was very short because the handle had been shortened or broke off. So your #8 & #9 are false scenarios, she could’ve reached for handle to try to pull out herself & landed in any position. She wasn’t breathing when the son checked Amy for breath. Your “ONLY SCENARIO” ISN’T the only scenario, that’s just asinine. Unless you were in the barn watching the whole situation while it was happening. Maybe you should have started off “IN MY OPINION” I THINK IT OCCURRED THIS WAY” Never come out blazing with “the ONLY Scenario”, think before you speak, or post. I have my opinion bc I know that’s how I hung all my pitch forks, steel rakes, shovels & tools on my walls. (Wanting to use the pitch fork to help her get the item from up on shelf she couldn’t reach , She could’ve also pulled that fork off the wall not realizing the weight & it could’ve hit her in the back causing superficial wounds spun around trying to remove it then landed on the fork again falling against the wall then falling forward to her hands & knees. Very possible it was an accident. He’s Innocent I believe.
@@tammystevens3345 I am trying to visualize what you are saying and it makes no sense. "Everyone knows you store it..." is absolutely conjecture because you are assuming it was stored that way. Let me tell you why you are wrong on that, in the picture of the rake where they found it shows four scratch lines in the cement, right under the rake head. That means it had previously been not hanging up. Also, the photos show the rake was not even three feet in length, which means she was taller than the rake. Which means that since she was taller than the rake, the rake had not been stored standing up because even you said the handle was broken. Look at the evidence photo, the tip of the handle was broken to a point, which means it was not standing against the wall. So for your scenario to work, she would have been already lower than the rake. How do you take rakes hanging from a wall? Wouldn't you kind of lift it up a little then pull it forward? Had she been dizzy and fell on it, grabbing it as she fell then how did she get it into her back? Was her back against the wall or was she facing the wall? She was found on her hands and knees, face down. That means she slumped straight down, then pushed forward. So she was not dizzy and did not fall onto it. For her to fall onto it if it were on the ground, then she would have been standing over it. So why would she walk over this kind of object on the ground? The angle of the tines shows that the only possibility is that it was higher than she was, then it was brought down at an angle sufficient to stab her in the back more than once, and with great force.
It’s like this is her first trial. She is ridiculous! She focuses on silly details instead of the important facts. I think she thinks this is a given guilty and therefore she can relax. I personally don’t think he did it.

Trysten answers "Yes." (I agree. I did not see my mother.) She gets all flustered when he answers. She's another one who thinks the correct response is, "No." Most of them do it. Incredible!!!
They do that clarification on purpose. You can’t leave any room for ambiguity or doubt about what he was agreeing to. The defense team and any future defense teams for appeals will be combing through every single word in search of discrepancies and story changes in order to support their case. It’s annoyingly tedious to listen to sometimes but they have to do it if there’s any chance that someone in the jury or someone in the future could mistake the statement for “Yes” (I *did* see my mother) instead of “yes”(I agree, I did *not* see my mother)
It really does sound like an accident. SHe felt dizzy. Fell back but then gained her footing, got back up and then lost it again and fell back. I don't know why they couldn't try proving that.

I think the timeline is interesting. If Tristin did not know how long his dad was gone, Todd would have had to get out of the hog barn pretty quickly and go after his wife to catch her in the shed because it couldn't have taken more than a few minutes for her to walk there and get it out (based on the photos). It also didn't look like from the photos that she had even attempted to get the pet carrier out, so she must have just walked in when she was assaulted.

He testifies in the same manner his father does. Exactly the same. He doesn't get shook up and answers the questions asked all the while he remains calm. Life on a farm is different than most people are used to. The average person would not think in the same way a farmer does nor would they act the same. Injuries on farms are common and getting all shook up doesn't do anyone any good and could cause you to lose your life. Sometimes the farmers are in the fields and get injured and they must take care of themselves until they can get to help or help arrives. City people, even people in the country most likely would not be able to do in an emergency what a farmer can. Farmers are a entirely different breed.
Man, where are the farms you are talking about?!?! The farms I live on & around aren't like that at all. Someone doesn't ever get a corn claw rake in there back either though.
Guilty beyond a reasonable doubt means the jury felt 90% or more he committed the crime. I don’t see how they came to their verdict. Just because you can’t prove how someone murdered her doesn’t mean the father automatically is guilty. He is presumed innocent and I couldn’t see him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
I do NOT believe this man is guilty. This woman was very dizzy and unsteady if she fell back in this rake (thus breaking the handle) then tried to get up and out of the barn such as she was on her hands and knees attempting to crawl out. I constantly have freak accidents, so YES it being an accident is totally possible. This man attempted to save his wife, he may have done it in all the wrong way, but I can tell you during an intense emotional moment one does NOT always think clearly: pulling out the rake from her back, trying to drive her himself. I can absolutely see myself make all these same mistakes.
Why would she not have just the exact 4 stab’s from the rake? Some one had removed the rake and stab her a second time for her to have 6 stab wounds???
My 💙 breaks for this sweet young man. God willing he will continue to be surrounded by love and find strength in his faith and friends and family....and be the next generation who runs the farm. So many people u don't know love and care about u Trysten.
Has anybody ever wondered if the son did it? The internets searches could have been his and everyone is commenting that the wounds to her body were done by someone weak. I mean, he did find the body! 🤷🏻♀️ Thoughts?
Thinking about it... she asks if at some point he didn’t see his dad and he says no. But just thinking about it, it doesn’t look like the pet carrier was moved so in my mind it seems like he would have had to follow her at the time he told her to go get it for her to have been killed by him. It doesn’t make sense if, let’s say, a half hour later she was still trying to move the pet carrier and he left and killed her.
That is the most insightful and clear reasoning I have seen by anyone on this case. Someone was already in the red shed waiting for her, or she fell, tried to get up, and then fell back a second time. I did not see the testimony on her defensive wounds and other injuries to the front of her on her face and arms maybe. Jilted lover or lover's wife would make more sense. I don't understand how they got a guilty verdict. Prosecutor was ineffectual and played dirty with the 911 call. If it had been separated, the voice could be heard. Why didnt they thoroughly go over the crime scene and get scrapings of her fingernails if there were defensive wounds...?
My big question: If he was with his Dad up until he went to the shed and his Mom was already on the ground, when would his Dad have had a chance to kill her??? He was only NOT WITH HIS DAD when the he went to get the carrier she was supposed to bring back. 2nd -- If Dad called 911 while son was in the same area, would he (the son) not have heard his Dad say the comment the Prosecuter kept implying?? 🤔
I’ve watched the entire trial. Spoiler alert: Dad takes the stand. Very credible and genuine. Emotional. (Unlike this kid) And a lot of other things. I think this kid killed his mom. And dad probly knows it. But state didn’t charge him, so here we are. This, and previous and subsequent testimony, put on by the state, inadvertently implicates this kid. And now rewatching it,.. he revisited the crime scene 2-3 times ... ? Textbook perp behavior. The state got this all wrong. Lieutenant Joe Kenda woulda had this kid’s confession.
Kimberly Nicholson Thank you. Yes. The prosecution inadvertently drew out a lot of testimony about how Amy was concerned about Trystans behavior. And the defense did not exploit it because they are protecting him.
This kid sounds like a very intelligent and responsible young man. God bless him and his siblings. They now have their own personal angel on their shoulders
I don't think he did this. How can she be so fearful of her husband yet repeatedly unfaithful to include an affair with an employee of her husband? And how could the prosecution claim he didn't want to lose half of his possessions in a divorce when she was the one cheating?? This is ridiculous!
He googled ways to kill an unfaithful wife, his son lied multiple times as if he was groomed to lie, told his young son about his wife’s affair from 5 years prior when his son was 7 or 8 (again as if grooming his son to take his side) he didn’t call 911 immediately, he was changing his boots when his son found him (maybe wiping the others clean?), he put his wife’s body on top of his young child after pulling a rake out of her, which you should never do. None of us were there so none of us really know, but it all points at him.
Mac 101 yea I’m not convinced he did it people get wrongfully convicted all the time the jury should of made sure there was enough evidence and there really wasn’t so hopefully he gets a retrial
Just because no one was seen or heard on the farm doesnt mean there wasn't!! If someone was trying to be quiet & unseen to secretly meet for a rendezvous!!
I am wondering what time were all those searches done on the laptop? There is reasonable doubt in this case, the son is very mature, he is very close to his dad. Most of his time was spent with his dad, he was aware of her affairs, he would also see her actions as a betrayal, I am sure he was very angry with her, he probably also had a lot of rage in him, at 13 and working on a farm , I am sure he was a very strong boy, he didn't seem that upset at the time all this happened. I think the son did it. No one can prove he didn't from what I have heard so far, that's reasonable doubt. The father seemed to me, to want to keep on forgiving her. The dad didn't want her dead, he didn't even want a divorce, he just wanted her to be happy with the family and stop screwing around. It was the son who hated her, for treating his dad that way. This is the kind of situation that can turn this boy into a serial killer, who hates women and thinks they all are whores. Get him some counseling. He clearly had no sympathy for his mother, still doesn't, he is very matter of fact, remembers every detail, as all serial killers do. Why would the dad look up what the Incas used to do to women who cheat? Were they teaching about them in school , sounds like something they teach in 5th or 6th or 7th grade. If the dad wanted her dead, he would have had a hunting accident, happens all the time. How tall was this kid at the time?
I can agree. People who are saying an 11 or 12 year old isn't strong enough to do this, is crazy. I live in the country, raised around mostly boys, I have three older brothers, too, they were strong at 11. They could easily hurt a woman. If he grew up on a farm, watching animals being slaughtered, and, then, watching his mother having affair after affair, it very easily could have warped his mind. Serial Ks say they start out with animals, too. I don't know, but I really don't think Todd did this. The thing, too, that gets me is that she was gone for like an hour and a half, according to them, so she may have been passed out in the shed, and he saw his opportunity, because if she was passed out, or sitting or lying down, because she was dizzy, he would have been in a higher position. Also, who knows, maybe he saw something on her phone or whatever. He could have done the searches, too, to see if he or his siblings weren't really fathered by Todd. Honestly, I think a father, a grown adult, in this day and age, anyway, would know the signs that his children weren't his, this sounds exactly like something that a child would search. Who knows, maybe, he set his father up, too. Children are way smarter, nowadays, than people give them credit for. Todd's lawyers were so bad, but he may have said something, to them, about not fighting, too much, because he didn't want his son to be in trouble. I really think you're right...he needs to seek counseling or someone needs to get him counseling, but I don't even think that would help a serial k.

This man had a pretty poor defence team. This prosecutor continually led this witness without any objection from them. I do hope he gets a new trial as he is obviously innocent as the prosecution never proved otherwise.
The corn rake shown in court has 45 degree bent tines. If any person fell backward on to those tines they anatomically would have not been able to stand up after the first stab. Think it through. Let's pretend she did fall backward on to the rake. Then she got up from the floor and fell back a second time, but then was found on her knees with the fork in her back. Anatomically, physically, a human body cannot have fallen gotten stabbed twice in the back and end up on their knees. Take the time to walk that through in your mind. The premise is not logical at all. if she fell on it, even twice like some claim, would not have ended on her knees. 6 puncture wounds shows the fork left her body completely and then reentered her back a second time. In fact part of the puncture wounds actually "retraced" the same path the first puncture had caused. If a person falls, like you claim, then how could it have followed the exact path as the first stab? The odds of that are beyond reality. That could never have happened by falling, can't be done. Go through the process slow motion in your mind. She was found with the fork in her back on her knees.
They do that to see if he will give different answers. They actually ask him the same questions over and over again in the process. There’s going to be things that aren’t the same, but they look for things that are significant to make a judgment.
Isnt it true when someone is in pain they will fall to their hands and knees in pain....so isnt it possible that she got dizzy knocked the corn rake and fell against it or on it and then turned to hands and knees in pain......it seems to me it was a bad accident that went wrong
Could very well have happened just like that. Fell on the rake slightly, tried to get up and fell on it harder, then curled up in pain. The point was made that the pet carrier was never moved out if the shed, so it most likely happened soon after Todd asked her to get the carrier, while he and Trysten were in the hog barn. Jilted lover, lovers wife, or even someone doing the deed for Todd. We will never know. It is so ambiguous and circumstantial that it should have been a mistrial or acquittal for lack off hard evidence. Where is the CSI and forensics in this case?
Could've been lovers wives, good call. I was thinking lovers mated with a married woman, so lack of morals already. She could've cut lover off but wife of lover makes more sense than Todd did it with his son getting his soul hurt.
So sorry for this boy and his family. My prayers are with you all. God will give you all strength to make it through this tragedy, all you have to do is ask him.
I don't think anyone noticed but Todd cracked a small smile when the son was describing things his mom liked. I don't believe this man killed his wife.
I bet Trysten misses living on the farm. I did notice that when the prosecution asked him the things he liked to do he never said farming or farm animals. I feel so sorry for the 3 children in the middle of the mess. How selfish of Todd to think that murdering his wife was the way he could hold onto his farm. Division of property in a divorce is never easy to go thru -- however it's just stuff. We all die one day and leave it all behind to someone else.
@@Whateverbaylie thank you!!! I watched this man and his reactions and stature and i dont believe he did it and its sad he is being put thru this after losing his wife!!!! I wld sign a petition saying he needs a new trial cuz i think this jury got it wrong
@@susanluvsrobbyfox Same here... he may have been angry ( who wouldn't be) and looked up some stuff on the internet but I'm not convinced he killed her!
I can't believe this story, it was mid day with the kids around just a normal day, stabbing your wife twice in the back with a corn rake is something someone in rage would do , in the heat of passion, not something you do in 15 or 20 mins out of trystens sight. I think it was possibly a wife of one of the husband's she was sleeping with who killed her in the heat of passion
Everyone saying that the kid is so intelligent and well-spoken for his age must've forgotten being that age themselves. He's the norm. 14 isn't a little kid. I'd know, I was 14 a few years ago and I had already decided what I wanted to do in life.
This boy sounds very intelligent. I'm sorry for him and siblings. Bless them Lord. That poor boy having to hold his mother. I hope they got him in some therapy. How horrific for this boy. Very sad breaks my heart for him. And the dad sent him to find his mother like that. What a monster the dad is.
I'm quite sure that a farmer would end her life quite differently. They know how to hunt, butcher meat etc.. Rake stabbing doesn't seem farmer like in the heat of passion. Wife of an affair?affair person?Regardless of the divorce money a farmer is able to recover financially. So spousal and child support would be the only issue. Trysten is a well raised young man.
You fail to take into account greed and simmering jealousy. Todd hated Amy and kept her on a short leash. She was going to divorce him. Spousal homicide occurs more often than you think when money is involved.
My heart hurts for this kid to relive this. I honestly feel in my heart this was an accident; not a murder. You can tell he loves his son. No way would he or could he in 1:40, kill her and send Trysten to find her like that. Look at how upset he looks at his son being questioned. GIVE THIS MAN A RETRIAL!!
this is the nost emotion hes ever showed in the trial first he goes with the dont you dare say anything face then goes in for fake puppy dog eyes how could you do this to me then back to angry again when he was exposed
ok, I'm sorry, but some of these questions are NOT appropriate in my opinion. This child is 13 years old and there are just some things you DON'T ask even if it is for court. This is traumatizing enough for this young man after what he has gone through.
He so concerned about the well being of his animals that he changes his boots ,oh but I think I will sneak off & murder my wife while my son is right over there ???? I'm sorry ,but I do not believe this outrageous story of the prosecution
Kim Brundige nope I think Is more the her taking all the money the business and then child support then spousal support, then child custody, he wanted to start new not having the money draining nagging ex wife
@@kimbrundige6320 Bet she stabbed herself twice, possibly three times in the back. The wife was looking at receiving $2 million and half the farm. Didn't have much to live for. Yep, suicide.
i feel something's wrong with this picture...i can't help but be suspicious of the son, although he was being manipulated via parental alienation by his father, this could have had an evolving anger effect festering beneath the surface that manifested itself into something sinister.
@Sharon Juarez Can't believe people can actually think something like that, and then find the balls to write it on social media. We wonder why vicious "rumors", and misguided theories start to spread, and this is why...... It only takes one person to start something that vile, and it could end up ruining that poor young mans life. Bad enough he lost his mother like that, and possibly his father to jail, now this.
The comment was saying how inappropriate it was for the father to share info w/his child about the mothers affair! I can't believe this father told his son, "hey, you're mom is talking to another man". Disgusting
Raquel Paz Well that goes without saying. It was inappropriate for dad to share the info about his mom in the first place. If the dad hadn't shared the info about his moms affair, then the attorneys wouldn't have asked about it. Kind of simple.
@@whatthecroc3483 yea i think the reasoning was to get an emotional reaction from the jury which is unethical. The mere implication that he would've sent his son to go discover his mother impaled is already bad; I don't think they needed to also ask if it made him feel bad to see her that way bc i think that's kinda obvious. But maybe there was another reason and I'm just skipping over it? The only other reason that I could think of is to see his reaction in order to find out if he was implicated somehow but i don't think the prosecution held that position unless i missed it 🤷 idk lol
I have watch at least 6 trials on UTube over the last couple of years, a few live. For those not viewed live I don't remember ever seeing so many video and sound cuts as this rebroadcast has had. Very troubling.
Did the judge disallow the questioning of the discrepancy between Tryvor's deposition testimony about the time he was away from his father and his later testimony? During the depo he said he was away from his father for only one minute 40 seconds.

Corn rakes are usually hung up, they are never left lying on the floor. Corn harvest season was over for a while so there would have been no reason for the corn rake to be there where it could be stumbled over.

I don't know...who else would there be to find her?? The two young children in the house? Not the boyfriend, because he was at his home 45 minutes away. It's a 50-50 for me. But, I think if he murdered her that it would be more likely that he'd send the son to look for her.
Not saying he did it or not but I don't think it's above him to have his son discover his mom
Since in this testimony his son said his dead mom was on top of him in the truck on the way to the hospital. Modesty doesn't seem like a concern here.

God comfort that child and his family.
I agree! Pray for Todd 🙏🙏 that his retrial will free him. I’m sure the officers missed something, they always do, or they disregard or hid evidence.
Wow...I find her soooooooo annoying, she constantly repeats herself. It's so irritating!!!!!

They do that clarification on purpose. You can’t leave any room for ambiguity or doubt about what he was agreeing to. The defense team and any future defense teams for appeals will be combing through every single word in search of discrepancies and story changes in order to support their case.
What a truly bizarre comment.

My son is 14 and I can not ever imagine him having to go through this!
All her questions is so irrelevant to the case and his lawyer isn’t doing crap about it. What a waste of time. Poor man
Guilty beyond a reasonable doubt means the jury felt 90% or more he committed the crime. I don’t see how they came to their verdict. Just because you can’t prove how someone murdered her doesn’t mean the father automatically is guilty. He is presumed innocent and I couldn’t see him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Too bad the video cuts out at some crucial times during testimony.
Exactly, it pissed me off!

I know! I've been going back to live feed and rewinding until it gets to where it booted me. That worked.
This poor boy. Poor baby.
That is possible, but I think that Amy had many enemies around because of her affairs: either them or someone they hired ...
He also sounds bored during the trial. No emotions. No sadness. Like a robot. He has just lost his mom! This is weird.
Why didnt they thoroughly go over the crime scene and get scrapings of her fingernails if there were defensive wounds...?
innocent, I do not know how they got a guilty plea on him
My big question: If he was with his Dad up until he went to the shed and his Mom was already on the ground, when would his Dad have had a chance to kill her??? He was only NOT WITH HIS DAD when the he went to get the carrier she was supposed to bring back. 2nd -- If Dad called 911 while son was in the same area, would he (the son) not have heard his Dad say the comment the Prosecuter kept implying?? 🤔
You just read my mind Kay Bee
It explains this later how he could have done it and it was probable

This man needs a new trial. Definitely.
I’ve watched the entire trial.
Spoiler alert:
Dad takes the stand. Very credible and genuine. Emotional.
(Unlike this kid)
And a lot of other things.
Dad was emotional?? He didn’t shed a tear!! Guilty
I'm with you on this. I believed Dad turned the son on his mom. They lived in a small town. People talk. I'm sure he was angry.

Thank you. Yes. The prosecution inadvertently drew out a lot of testimony about how Amy was concerned about Trystans behavior.
And the defense did not exploit it because they are protecting him.
Todd or Trysten did it imo.

I agree with all of this. I think the dad knows, but will never say anything because he doesn't want his son to go to prison.
@@MissMolly3377 he was 13 at the time of her death. And I hadn’t really thought about this yet this was just the second video I watched but now when he said earlier about when they pulled over to do cpr. The way he mentioned about how his friends showed up. He said it was a very odd occurrence how my friends just so happen to who up at that exact moment and then he got with them and ride back with his buddies wtf. Most kids his age almost always commit crimes together or they at least talk to their friends about it. I could easily see them hanging out discussing things his dad was sharing with him and it turning into a so what can we do about it to help ourselves your dad type of talks! Hmmm
This is very interesting I also before knowing anything about his son I didn’t think Todd did it either! Hmmm I know it’s very possible. I remember exactly how me and my close friend were at that age and I also grew up on a farm. Plus a young man who really lives and respects his dad would 100% take dads side & be literally sickened and angry and disgusted at what his mother had been doing multiple times to his dad his hero. At that age especially in that kind of situation I could’ve easily killed for my father in a second! Wow this is very plausible.

Here in Iowa, it's an excused absence, so is hunting, It's not all the time, it's a week or so during harvest, and the kids probably learn more in that week than your crappy city kids do.
This man had a pretty poor defence team. This prosecutor continually led this witness without any objection from them. I do hope he gets a new trial as he is obviously innocent as the prosecution never proved otherwise.
I think there was objection to not stress the child out anymore than necessary. Usually the other side can recall a witness later during the trial.
She even re-asks questions he's already talked about. Is she listening to him or just reading off a piece of paper?
They do that to see if he will give different answers. They actually ask him the same questions over and over again in the process. There’s going to be things that aren’t the same, but they look for things that are significant to make a judgment.
They always do that
They also do that to ensure the jurors catch all important questions and answers.
BS! I've heard so many attorneys object to a question because it was already asked. 🙄

100% this man is innocent. It was either an accident or Jerry fishers wife.
Could've been lovers wives, good call. I was thinking lovers mated with a married woman, so lack of morals already. She could've cut lover off but wife of lover makes more sense than Todd did it with his son getting his soul hurt.

He thought it out carefully. Sent her to the red shed supposedly to get the pet carrier and then coldly calculatedly attacked her with the corn rake.

I really wonder what's going through his mind when he's listening and watching his son testimoning about losing his mom...
