@@lenoramitchell6079 If I remember correctly, it was the Internet searches that hung him. I still wonder about the lover, though. In any case, I believe the investigation was not thorough enough. Then again, Casey Anthony is out roaming the streets. 🤷🏻♀️
If he loses he can blame his defense team. Why oh why did he hire this guy? I am sorry but this defense team isn't fighting for Todd. So many moments he should have jumped up and objected to the prosecution. The 911 call, really? They damn sure should have objected or at least made it better
I agree. The defense is AWFUL. Are these court appointed attorneys or did he hire them? I've never seen such a lackluster defense in my life and I've watched a lot of trials. Although I haven't watched the whole trial yet and until a few days ago I knew absolutely nothing about this case. I do know he was found guilty and I know he wants a new trial. I hope he is given one because I think there is reasonable doubt and I really don't like putting innocent people in prison.
I just dont understand how Todd was convicted beyond reasonable doubt. This is a badly organized and contested case and speaks of incompetence of this judge..
Because of the evidence and the coroner report showing that the garden tool that the wife died on only had four proms in it yet she had six holes from that tool in her head and then it was discovered the damage from the two extra holes showed signs of the tool going in and being pulled out...
@@SquirrelKidYT There was also no footage for the previous couple of weeks. None of the the evidence was a slam dunk and proved that he did it. Did he do it? Maybe. Should he be in jail? NO.
I heard drink of water...could have been a demon on the tape afterwards saying something that sounded like what she was suggesting. Could even have been a police officer in the background talking.
@@caseyschell4811 Prosecution was great either. She should never have presented that tape to the jury, without an expert witness, and clarity of contents.
Anyone who has not lived rurally, would not understand the immediate reaction of taking a loved one to hospital yourself, rather than waiting for an ambulance... You instinctively know it will take too long and you are better to meet them on the way if anything.. This case has nothing in evidence just assumptions? I'm shocked he was put away on what appears to be "assumptions" ...??
The first time I heard it sounded like "please hold on" The prosecutor is playing fast and loose with planting an aural seed. This is a well documented trick. If you tell a group of people unfamiliar with this case then say he said "your meeting George" and then play the tape that's they will hear. This is such a dirty trick on the part of the state.
William, I agree. A low down dirty trick. It reminds me of the Casey Anthony trial in Florida, where the defense attorney in his opening remarks, states that George, her father, had molested her, and thus, the Defense takes us down a rabbit hole and up and around, to conclude that George murdered Caylee. It was never proved or properly addressed during the trial, but once you hear that, you cannot ever go back and see George as an innocent father. The State was shamefully negligent. Ashcroft was too busy writing his book. But don't get me started on that case . . . .
I think this is just a sad situation! She should have left him sooner? Not stayed to play house! Looked like she was two timing the both of them. Evil been there since the day she looked out side her marriage,we don't get away with nothing! That still did not give him the right to take her life. When your spouse knows your leaving then get out fast! Unless you know their capabilities and arm your self.
to think hes doing chest compressions and saying 1, 2, 3, "whore" is just absolutely asinine. cops had to come up with something bc of the drs said. bc u know, drs r never wrong. all they know are the injuries they cannot say how they happened
@@ritatinken3278 well considering two other witnesses, including a LE officer said he was doing chest compressions when he pulled on the scene, I'd say you don't know what you're talking about.
Vicki Kay The whole courtroom - from what I’ve watched - sounds monotone to me. Even the son - who allegedly found his DEAD mother - didn’t SOUND like it was difficult to speak about this. A little too composed and “mature” - or just good at hiding thoughts and feelings in a stoic, farming community. What, less than two years since his mother DIED? Unless he’d been given some medication - most loving sons wouldn’t be able to get through questioning so “courageously”. I had a loving son that I lost in a motorcycle accident. And if our roles were reversed, I have NO DOUBT that he wouldn’t be able to do “so well” - and he was 25. No, these flat affects must be the nature of this farming community. Don’t share any more than you must. Don’t let your feelings be known. And NEVER be the subject of GOSSIP....TWICE. Only the victim’s girlfriend showed a bit of emotion when she testified. But, even she, caught herself and stifled it. Oh, and the prosecutor who was ADVOCATING for the victim who was slaughtered like one of their pigs. Remember her? Name is AMY. 🇺🇸☦️
This reminds me of Ghost recordings that you cannot make out words but when the person tells you what was said, you hear it but also hear what someone else heard too. Not good evidence.
I have had this happen to me once! I never thought it was a common thing to happen. But it literally happened how you said a friend had to play it back for me that caught it, saying my name 3 times! So scary! I’m going to google this.
I agree. The second clip, doesn't it sound like the police radio, I couldn't see even if he did it, being on the phone with 911 and saying anything under my breath. It seems those things pick up everything. Sorta knew to this case. So I want to go back and read up more on history and evidence
@@tomsizemore5162 I dont know the case either. He maybe guilty but I cant stand when prosecutors or defense lawyers make up things or twist the truth. Just give the facts.
2nd clip, one, two, three, four. If the state was so sure about this tape and saying he said that. They needed an audio expert on the stand. And maybe tried to clean up the static in the background. I hope the jury is allowed to use headphones for listening to this.
Didn't it sound like the slowed it down slightly during one of the playbacks? That's when I felt I could here it. I agree that clip should have been cleaned up or something.
Why would he not say ‘. I did not say that”. All he said was “no I didn’t hear that”. I would be upset if someone would accuse me of something I never said!!
Exactly! Because he DID say that. His response IS deflection. Not denial. Someone who never said that would be adamant that's not what they said and further would be able to back that up by saying, "I would never say that about/to my wife".
@@loretta2372 your reply pretty much says the same thing the comment already says. We are not talking about a "No". We are talking about someone being asked if they called their dying/dead wife a "cheating whore". Let's review just the beginning of this questioning, starting with the beginning of the audio being played (@6:35~7:39), Prosecutor asks him, "Did you just hear that whisper at the end of that?" He replies, "Yes". Right there he admits he whispered something. He did NOT say, "I didn't whisper anything" or "I didn't hear a whisper", but instead acknowledges he whispered something. She then asks him, "WHAT did you whisper"? He replies, "I couldn't hear it". She plays it again. She immediately asks him, "Todd, did you whisper cheating whore right there"? He replies, "No". She then immediately says, "so you don't remember what you whispered"? He replies, "No". Now here is a VERY eerie & creepy detail about THIS exact moment (@7:35~7:39) in testimony. THE SMILE ON HIS FACE, right after that second "No", as he glances at HIS attorney for a split second. (Guarantee his attorney was NOT pleased about that)!! Who in their right mind would smile at such a derogatory comment about their dead wife, that they are being asked if THEY said?? I can tell you the answer. Someone who knows THAT IS EXACTLY what they whispered, and someone who is thrilled with the thoughts of knowing they said that to their dying wife!! Thats who! It's called the "dupers delight". It's ONE of many uncontrolled stress induced actions our body automatically does in response to our own lying, for the purpose to manipulate someone. That moment spoke volumes and I was thrilled he took the stand. The jury saw right through it. Whereas, if Todd would NEVER say such a thing like that about HIS dying loving wife, HIS response would NOT ONLY be a look of shock (versus smiling) at that question, but also an adamant, "I know I did NOT say THAT". Neither of which did he do. That smile IS everything!!!
It's like a spirit box. They decide what they think is said but if you listen objectively before being told what you should hear you can't tell if he said anything
I spent 32-years on the job. The tape implies guilt, but not over the issue of what he said here. The clue for me was that when making the 911 call, he wasn't just concerned for his wife... he was laying out his entire alibi to the emergency dispatcher, knowing it was all being taped. No person finding his dead spouse would be already defending himself at that point.... other things would have been on his mind. If innocent, the last thing to cross one's mind is, "they might blame me for this." The whole "story" can be learned just by listening to the 911 tape. The problem for killers is that it's usually their first and only killing and they don't know how to act innocent. The cops on the other hand know about how hundreds of guilty and innocent people act.
Yes. Just like Alex Murdaugh. The first few seconds, he started in on who was to blame and so forth. If I saw my childs brain on the ground, I think I wouldn't be able to stand or even speak to tell a story.
Good point, but now who knows what a Husband/father will do when they have this demeanor, even if they have never been abusive, mean, etc. I mean good example Chris Watts. That's a whole different kind of scary
I am a professional transcriptionist, and I listen to hundreds of audios a week, good and bad. He definitely said in this audio what they are saying he said.
Denise Moore I’ll go with your conclusion. What is, generally, being perceived from second hand audio - presumably, with no headphones or ear buds to enhance the sound - seems less reliable to me. I studied court reporting for a time and appreciate the heightened sense of hearing that is developed to accurately record, sometimes, rapid Q and A. I, ultimately, went with nursing - and I appreciate that when 911 says to “lay a victim down” they don’t mean to “recline” the seat of a truck’s cab to perform compressions against a SOFT surface - while reaching in and juggling a cellphone against your shoulder. And, I believe he knew exactly what the operator meant by her instruction. Hard FLAT surface. BTW, what she was on in the shed - had he not moved her and had called 911 immediately for guidance and WAITED for emergency response. No need, ofcourse, if you’ve removed the victim from the crime scene and only called 911 while transporting the CORPSE of someone you’ve grown to hate enough to kill. Problem was, I think, is that the corn fork didn’t have enough prongs to do the job the first try or that it was to the back - instead of to the front as planned - and didn’t penetrate those vital “organs” with one stab. Thank you for your input. 🇺🇸☦️
Just my option. This man looks completely shell shocked, exhausted, sad and doesn't seem to have much fight left in hm. He is struggling to concentrate.
How would they expect him to hear what was going on in the red shed while he was working in the hog barn? Give me a break! I'm sure it's not that difficult for someone to know his routine either, and that he'd be working!
People that point to whispers and claim they know exactly what was said...I would challenge them to have come up with the exact words independent of being told what he said. He may very well have said what they claim, but saying things like it is crystal clear, is just nonsense. How many audio experts have made claims about recordings and sound, that turn out to be just guesses that sound like words. My 1 year old jabbers and sometimes it sounds like an actual word. Let 1000 monkeys type on typewriters and they will get some words in there at some point. If that is some kind of earthshaking evidence that he is guilty, just wow. They man could have been breathing out and they say he was talking. This reminds me so much of people that will play a record backward looking for words.
Todd was Panicked and Breathless from the situation, it could have sounded like a lot of things. I agree where are the audio experts.I don't buy cases where the prosecution is a Straw grabber. There are numerous scenarios as to how Amy got the Corn fork in her back.,,and Todd putting it there is ONLY ONE.
@@Olivia-cw8qn And then the prosecutor says it doesn't even matter ultimately if you think he said it or not. They have all of this other evidence. Well, the fact that they would put that prejudicial trash up for the jury's consumption, is enough to make me lean against them. The guy maybe guilty, but that is no way to try a case.
I have zero confidence that a trial decided by a jury of my peers will bring a fair outcome. This is like that staircase accident guy they said killed his wife with zero physical evidence.
It was clear because the prosecutor SUGGESTED it and you got sucked in.If it was legit she would've called an expert witness, but she knew she would be shot down. What better to do than just put it out there, knowing damn well it wasn't true.
Heather Creighton As much as you would like to think I heard by power of suggestion, you’re wrong. I actually thought this had a good chance at being innocent, so it’s not like I’m looking for evidence against him. I honestly can't make out any words. I really think this was an accident, but did the medical examiner ever testify? That would help. I really feel bad for him if he's found guilty.
Man...... this is tough... it sounds like he is counting... this is one of the dumbest criminals if he actually said all that on a 911 tape..😏..... knowing ALL calls are recorded. This whole case is bizarre.
He is dumb, I mean look at the internet searches! It's like he left a map for the investigators of his thought process... he was trying to figure out a way to kill her and make it look like an accident.
Knowing the call is recorded or not, he wasn't thinking about that. He's in the middle of an adrenaline rush (trying to cover up a murder) and in trying to justify it to himself, he didn't even realize the words coming out of his own mouth to himself. Just like when a criminal is trying to lie about their crime. They answer "no" out of their mouth, while their head is moving up and down saying "yes". They don't even realize it's happening.
Where is the testimony of Amy Mullis's lover Jerry Frasher? This trial coverage is incomplete and even some testimony is out of order. Thanks anyway Law & Crime Network.
The lover is more emotional then the husband.i just finish watching the episode on 48 hours cbs. The husband kill her. The lover when up and testified and i saw the sad he was . At one point when the camera was on the husband sitting down the lover was behind him i dont know if he was crying or just sad he had his head down. I dont think thenlover did it.
@@letmo4045 Neither did Todd. Investigator and Prosecutor did not connect the dots. Picked easiest bad guy to prosecute; but facts and, both, Todd's and his son Tryston's testimony are in agreement. I think someone took shelter in the shed; Amy discovered them, and they reacted out of fear, picked up convenient corn rake and attacked her to keep her from disclosing their location = someone that did not want law enforcement to find them, or a run-away? Who knows, but Todd did not have time or opportunity to commit murder. Moreover, Todd is a good father, he would not have purposed to subject his son to this nightmare: No Way!!! Anton14a Given that no one else in this is proceeding showed ANY emotion - except, maybe, her girlfriend - the prosecutor might sound “angry” or emotional by comparison. She is ADVOCATING for the State - on behalf of a VICTIM who was slaughtered like one of their PIGS, after all. Any problem with that? BTW. He should NOT have pulled the “fork” to get through the door. He should have rendered what help he could until emergency response arrived. Unless, she was in the WRONG position for a “falling accident”. Ofcourse the number of fork prong wounds would prove to make attempting to change the crime scene futile. 🇺🇸☦️
rebecca Yes. But -just like Amy justified and rationalized her “affairs” in her mind - he justified and rationalized his revenge of murder. He was over her long before he found her DEAD in the shed - where he left her. All of this was just “going through the motions” calmly until his anticipated acquittal. Problem is - with all his planning, acting and “.composure” - even while watching his son testify, as you noted - it DIDN’T happen. GUILTY, AS CHARGED. 🇺🇸☦️
I can’t believe the prosecution tried this. He doesn’t say that, at least I didn’t hear it. And if he had, they would’ve presented this front and center and brought in an expert. They have plenty of evidence. Don’t know why they’d need to grasp at straws like this

The prosecution is making a giant leap with this claim. I’ve listened to it a few times with earbuds and, I do not hear anything close to what they claim he says in the call. I agree with the others that, if they’re so sure about this they should have an expert audio guy on the stand and they don’t so, they lose this argument in my opinion. I also don’t think they’ve proven their case beyond a reasonable doubt. I just have a gut feeling that this guy is innocent.

Yes and "shes so cold" refered to her being dead, and knowing there was no hope, but yet the prosecution would say he was referring to her personality!! This case is nuts.
This guy tried to give CPR, in a vehicle, without using his mouth, from outside the vehicle, for how many minutes? That makes little sense, so I'll be down a rabbit hole for awhile.

The prosecutor saying that he’s says cheating whore etc makes you listen for it. They have a lot of good points in the prosecution but the tape aint one, the audio is too staticky to make anything out of it.
One thing to keep in mind is they are listening to the original recording while we are listening to a recording of a recording so it’s harder for us to make out what he’s saying

It’s a very well documented psychological phenomena.
“Please don’t....dont.....she’s cold” that is what I hear in that call. Without thinking of anything that the prosecutor says that is exactly what it sounds like.
Irish BadAss, actually there’s this fact: 911 dispatchers routinely and always tell the caller to do CPR, even when the caller says it’s too late. There are reasons why dispatchers do this while the responders are on the way to the scene.
You can't do it properly, but you can make an attempt to do it like you see on TV. But it's definitely not going to be effective. (Patient needs to be on a flat surface, you need to be compressing the proper inches, and giving breaths correctly)
Before the prosecutor told me what I was supposed to hear I heard... Son: You want her on the ground? Son: Hear me? (more frantic) Dad: Just... Dad: three... loud exhale... four.
I thought this prosecutor was *amazing*! She did a great job. He took the stand and it was very clear by his facial expressions and inflection that he was lying. Painting himself as the perfect husband and an amazing human being. It was too fake, too coached, looking at the jury to see if they were buying his nonsense. There was no change in his voice from describing his chores to finding his wife with the corn rake in her back, a little bit of trying hard to emote while he was talking about putting her in the truck. The testimony that came from her friends makes him look like a manipulative abuser. She told all of her friends he was going to kill her and he did. The prosecutor did a great job on cross examination but she saved the smoking gun for last -- it was so perfect. I heard it loud and clear. He looked so defeated after that. I think his son knows way more than he admitted to and possibly helped him do it. I hope the jury comes back with a swift guilty verdict. For anyone that didn't hear it, he whispered "f***ing wh*re" and then "go to h*ll, cheating wh*re" while he was pretending to give her CPR in the truck. I listened to it, several times, with good headphones -- it is crystal clear.
@Sarah Prosse -- I agree. That was chilling. And he had just testified that he had no idea about the latest affair, only the one 5 years prior... and he lied so much about being this wonderful husband... Some people have never encountered a real sociopath, she knew what was coming and I wish she had found a way to escape.
C Arch I suppose you think a lot of people are “morons”, C. Seems to be the go to word -sort of like “racist” - that is used so loosely these days without providing any basis for such conclusion. 🇺🇸☦️
No way the son did this! You know dad called him a 🐈. I bet this kid was scared to death of his Dad. Dad told him EXACTLY what to say. Thank God Tristen got away from Dad! He plunged that rake in badly and needed a second guaranteed KILL shot. The searches were damning evidence.
REACHING...WOW, DEFINITELY NEEDED AUDIO CLEANED AND AN EXPERT!!! it could have been so many things like, she’s not breathing anymore, this isn’t working anymore, etc. not even 2% sure what was said, she picked what fits her narrative. I couldn’t have convicted beyond reasonable doubt on this one.
I'm watching from UK. To me he is trying to convey a gentle, thoughtful demeanor... It seems fake to me. His face is flushing when listening to the tape being played.
Where have all the cherries gone I agree he’s trying too hard. He’s too clinical when he should have some emotion, LIke when the prosecutor asks him to describe his wife’s position, having her face close to his as he carries her, etc. That was right over his head as to why she was asking him.
I don’t hear it. At all. Sounds like he’s counting, out of breath..and is saying 3....4. Anyone who’s done chest compressions will tell you that you aren’t exactly able to speak in the midst of them. Good CPR is very physically taxing. (RN of 16 years, here).
@Jay Bad Bry they why there particularly if it's because of the whole trial. More likely because he was jealous and controlling as they showed in the trial.
He's saying she's so cold why would he whisper incriminating things during a 911 call he doesn't seem to be a stupid man so I think he'd know better than that
If someone accused you of saying that when you were trying to save your wife's life, wouldn't you sound or react more than he did. I know he was probably told not to though.
Regardless of this audio clip the prosecution presented, what sealed his guilty verdict were his google searches on his iPad with the keywords “killing unfaithful women.” Court Cam covered this case in a Top 5 Countdown.

I can not make out what was being said no matter how many times I listened to it. On another note, I have never ever seen a prosecutor ask questions of a defendant and let them go so fast! Gotta be a record of the fastest cross ever
did you see Todd stare down his defense attorneys when the prosecutor was claiming the tape said GTHCW ? he really glared them down hard. Like, where are you guys??
TammY Buck I completely understand. I would leave that idiot on the stand too. I think If I had more than affair, then it’s fair to say I’m not happy and I’m looking for better!
How are people still stupid enough to take the stand in their own defense? I hope the jury gets headphones to listen to the 911 tape. The state should have had an audio expert scrub that tape to get the static out. The state might lose the case if the jurors can't hear it.
Audio cleaning software off the shelf would have helped - if nothing else. No fingernail clipping analysis, either. I get it that this investigation was flawed - as most are. But, even so, what was introduced should be enough to come to a unanimous verdict - one way or another. Hung juries are always a problem for the prosecution. Unless they elect to retry the case. And, if so, they just might with a better presentation of evidence. 🇺🇸☦️
In all the comments of this trial, many people said he didn't do it, and many said he did. I can't understand how all the Jury decided he did it without resonable doubt. I never seen people being confused about a case like the confusion in this one.
I can’t make it what is said with and without out with earbuds. My questions would be, if I was on the jury, “why didn’t they clean up the audio to make it clearer?” “why would he call 911 to save her if he did it” and the most important “why would someone call their wife, who is gravely injured, to go to h€ll cheating w#*re?” on a recorded 911 call? I don’t know enough about the case though.
I think he did say it on the call, and what made me sure, is his reaction to what the prosecution is accusing him. 7:30 and his smile at 7:38 He is not pissed, he looks caught, his calmness is confusing and disturbing. He also looks at the defense team as he was seeking guidance to what to do.
'his calmness'.......you have to be an Iowan....and closer yet, from a small town farm community in Iowa to understand an Iowa Farmer's cool, calm, collected demeanor.... 'Nothin'.........freaks us out. Farmers deal with suddenlies all the time! There's no panic in an Iowa farmer...or the rest of the family for that matter. I wonder how many of the jurors were farmers, children of a farmer? My guess would be no, because I think the verdict would have went differently.
Cherie McNaul I got your point, and I agree, however, he was about to get convicted with 1st degree, and the jury did find him guilty. His defense lawyers should have anticipated the fact that he could show calmness and work it out with him.
One reason for a D&C procedure is to remove uterine tissue during or after a miscarriage or abortion. Did Amy get pregnant by Jerry and have an abortion and need a D&C after it? Was Amy pregnant by Todd with a 4th child and opt to terminate the pregnancy because she was unhappy in the marriage? If either of those were true, that would be enough to enrage Todd. To be “stabbed in the back” means to be betrayed by someone. Amy stabbed Todd in the back by having an affair and lying about it. It’s not hard to believe Todd could have been angry enough to literally stab Amy in the back and kill her in return.
Does anyone agree that if ever this case makes Hollywood, Jason Bateman is the logical pick for Todd Mullis ?

This is such a dirty trick on the part of the state.
Please come back. No way. Christ. ........... Oh Jesus .
She played the audio and then said what she heard. Not vice versa.
But don't get me started on that case . . . .
Why doesnt he say "i.didnt.say that".firmly i.was just counting, why would i say that on phone with.911.

The whole courtroom - from what I’ve watched - sounds monotone to me.

No before he said he didn't hear it she asked "did you say that " and he said nom
I don’t understand a word of that 911 call.

Spot on
Yes. Just like Alex Murdaugh. The first few seconds, he started in on who was to blame and so forth. If I saw my childs brain on the ground, I think I wouldn't be able to stand or even speak to tell a story.

I’ll go with your conclusion.

The ethics of this prosecutor are lacking and her conduct deplorable.
Well Todd did not offer any other suspects that may have had it out for Amy. when informed it was a homicide.
She was already dead im sure, and he had to do the compressions to show he "tried"
He waited until he was pretty sure she was dead to send her son in to find her ,,then sent him to get the truck yea he knew his cpr wasn't going to help her at that point
The Prosecutor did her job. How was her conduct deplorable ? She presented the facts of the case. The jury came back with the verdict. The defense attorney was ineffective and unorganized. I only felt sorry for Todd because he did not have a good defense lawyer. OJ got off and they had all kinds of DNA evidence.
Exactly, that line of questioning was bs.
Wow that's exactly what he said!! The prosecution did an excellent job of catching that!! If you listen closely you can hear it.
@@AndrewPureMI exactly!
No that's what I heard, and a jury of his peers obviously heard the same.
No he didn't go back and listen to it again and this time l am telling you he is counting the compressions and is saying "Two Breath Three Four"
There is no way you can do effective CPR with your shoulder pressing your phone to your ear.
Louise Robinson I did CPR on my husband with my shoulder pressing my phone to my ear - not impossible.
Totally agree. It's not impossible but I surely don't think it'll be very effective.
I've done CPR that way as well and it worked
It is possible and often performed as 911 operators will be giving instructions. So please don't pass misinformation along.
@@personofinterestchocolatem9158 that's exactly how I done it. I didn't have a clue what to do was only 15 and it was the 999 operator who instructed me, kept me going and stopped me from totally freaking out!
He's counting while doing the compressions, CPR, TWENTY THREE, TWENTY FOUR, that's what he is saying. This man is innocent. I believe the surgery went wrong or her blood pressure was low and she fell and the fork fell. It was a freak accident.
LOL.. she was found on her hands and knees and had been stabbed twice... she had a bruise on her face where she was knocked down... He didn't even use his mouth when giving her CPR... if my husband COLD OR NOT was not breathing, I would be breathing in his mouth! Well I wouldn't do that for my ex husband but I would my current husband because I love him.
I heard Dear Lord
I thought that, too, but in the second playback, I heard the "ch" sound, for sure...
Evelyn Wilson, could be. I hear him counting... 3 4, 1 2 3 4 while compressing.

Now I gotta listen again...😂
@@veegee916 His son was there and he was on the phone. He comes across as being too smart to say something like cheating ......
And that is the point, we all can hear different things. My 1 year old utters things all of the time, but I thought he said my name one day...but I knew better. These prosecutors should know better as well. Whispers in the heat of the moment? Maybe, just breathing out.
The defense also said a murder has taken place but it wasn't their client who committed this murder but it was someone else
They never presented another person who could have committed this murder if again it wasn't the son
They’re listening to the original recording though, we are listening to a recording of a recording here on UA-cam
You can Google the original 911 call instead of listening to the recording of the recording Shannon H

@@lthomas1023 BS. Just because he cheated he had no right to kill her. He did not snap. He planned it. The phone searches show that.

I don’t really believe he killed his wife.
Slow the video.. And u can really hear it clearly... .75x
Ok I couldn’t understand what he said on the 911 call when I first listened to it but HOLY CRAP when I slowed it down he actually said it. I think he just lost his composure and didn’t realize he was saying OUT LOUD what he was actually thinking. His lack of emotion in court is so scary. 😨
I’m telling you!! This guy is guilty and evil!! I’ve been around someone who would whisper to themselves! So scary
He woumd t say that while his with 911 or police,. I mean how stupid could he be, nobody is that.stupid..wasnt she dead already?.when he was doing chest compressions.
i thought he was not guilty until i heard that call cheating hoe was clear. he didn't thinks it could be heard . also i think he smiled and nearly changed his smiles like he wanted to laugh when he was being asked about this call
I hear "She's so cold" and I could cry because his lawyers didn't do their work as best as they could and now those children lost both parents basically.. I don't think he would wanted them to lose either one of them, since it already was hard for him to take care of the farm and children when she was with her family.
Yes and "shes so cold" refered to her being dead, and knowing there was no hope, but yet the prosecution would say he was referring to her personality!! This case is nuts.
Omw I also heard "she so cold" i feel so sorry for this guy.
If they could have just slowed it down to how slow the defence presents …….. maybe we could have heard better
You can slow the video using UA-cam. Maybe that can help you hear it. God bless!
😂😂😂
This judge is polite and stands for the jury. Most don't.
The judge stands for the jury. That's impressive.
This guy tried to give CPR, in a vehicle, without using his mouth, from outside the vehicle, for how many minutes? That makes little sense, so I'll be down a rabbit hole for awhile.
Exactly. He wasn’t trying to save her. She was too far gone at that point.
Sounds like he is saying “three four” in the first clip and “one two three four” in the second
I hear the "ch" sound, though...
I think hearing anything other than him counting while doing cpr is subjective, just like on ghost hunting shows when you only hear what they hear AFTER they tell you what they hear

Thank you for that. I wondered if I was experiencing this!

I asked my brother, who just walked in and could care less about this case, what do you think he is saying...he said I think he is counting like 3,4.
This guy barely has a pulse...
I know. I would have cheated on that dud too. But she shouldn't have cheated. And he shouldn't have killed her. Just making a "funny" point about what an emotionless blah he seems to be.
His heart died the moment he found that his wife started to cheating on him again.
He looks like he lost a lot of weight too

The prosecutor saying that he’s says cheating whore etc makes you listen for it. They have a lot of good points in the prosecution but the tape aint one, the audio is too staticky to make anything out of it.
Agree 100 percent!
Major Payne I thought of that but if you listen closely there is the sound of the “r”
One thing to keep in mind is they are listening to the original recording while we are listening to a recording of a recording so it’s harder for us to make out what he’s saying

@@stuartbroome5530 It’s a well known fact that when human beings are primed to hear something , that is what they WILL hear. It’s a very well documented psychological phenomena.
I thought it sounded like 34 or 24 like he was counting compressions!
“Please don’t....dont.....she’s cold” that is what I hear in that call. Without thinking of anything that the prosecutor says that is exactly what it sounds like.
“Holly he’ll, this is hard” something to that extent... I’m not hearing it. That’s enough reasonable doubt right ?
Ha ha ha. You heard that? Nope. And this tape proves nothing anyway. Certainly does NOT constitute reasonable doubt.
I agree...I feel sorry for him, I don’t believe he is guilty, another innocent person sitting in prison. So sad.
You cant do cpr and have a phone on ur shoulder in ur ear. Not possible.
Kim Chase, yes you can.
Irish BadAss, actually there’s this fact: 911 dispatchers routinely and always tell the caller to do CPR, even when the caller says it’s too late. There are reasons why dispatchers do this while the responders are on the way to the scene.
No you cant you are correct
I don’t even think he was trying to. If so not with much urgency
(more frantic)
Dad: Just...
@C Arch LoL, the prosecutor? She's brilliant. I hope the Farmer Mullis fan club doesn't have a nervous breakdown when he's convicted.
C Arch
I suppose you think a lot of people are “morons”, C.
Seems to be the go to word -sort of like “racist” - that is used so loosely these days without providing any basis for such conclusion.

No way the son did this! You know dad called him a 🐈. I bet this kid was scared to death of his Dad. Dad told him EXACTLY what to say. Thank God Tristen got away from Dad! ( Home school him so he can work all the time). Total workaholic! No wonder she cheated on him. She was starved for love and affection. He wasn't losing his farm at any cost!
I’d have to hear the original recording, we can only hear a recording of a recording here so it’s really difficult to make out
I'm watching from UK. To me he is trying to convey a gentle, thoughtful demeanor... It seems fake to me. His face is flushing when listening to the tape being played.
Where have all the cherries gone I agree he’s trying too hard. He’s too clinical when he should have some emotion,
LIke when the prosecutor asks him to describe his wife’s position, having her face close to his as he carries her, etc.
He said (IMO...)...”chest compressions...three...four...” I despise this prosecutor.

I hope the jury gets headphones to listen to the 911 tape. The state should have had an audio expert scrub that tape to get the static out. The state might lose the case if the jurors can't hear it.
If you're innocent it is the best way. Jury wants to hear you tell the truth. Most killers think they can get away with it.

Wow 😳
To skip to 911 playback go to 6:40.
7:30 and his smile at 7:38
He is not pissed, he looks caught, his calmness is confusing and disturbing.
He also looks at the defense team as he was seeking guidance to what to do.
I isolated the sound and imo without a doubt says cheating whore- the word before whore/four is ending with and ing loudn and clear..
Thanks god the jury saw through this lying narcissist.
