yes! it definitely felt that it was nourishing my skin when I had it on. It's not as apparent in Singapore cause it's humid and hot all the time but I'd imagine the effects are more obvious in drier climates, especially during winter! Definitely packing this for my vacations.

I am so fair that this is the only texture and true ivory (without yellow undertones ) 5:34 that I have found. I love the look without the feel of a foundation on my face. I could buy 5 cheaper ones which sit on a shelf so I’d rather buy what I know is the best for me. Less is more esp during daytime as I cannot stand oil near my eyes when working. This is the best! Besides, we are worth it! 10 plus stars from me!

@@ArissaHa Hi Arissa! texturewise, i think the older one was just a tad bit creamier. the new formula is faster & easier to blend. i haven't tested it with a brush yet, but the older one sometimes gets streaky if i used the wrong brush. the new formula's finish is also 🥰✨✨ immediately catches the light. i was shocked coz this is the second time i've liked a reformulation more than the original. the first reformulation i liked was cle de peau's stick concealer. 🌝 also 1 other difference, the new one is now 28ml haha. previously it was 27ml. with this foundation, i think a little bit goes a long way. don't need much and already really pretty.
If you care to look your best try this or get a sample instead, before thumbs down. I have good skin because I do care to take care of it. At my age. I still do not have dryness or wrinkles so I no longer jump from one line to another.
Hi I love your video! After seeing it I went to buy cle de peau foundation and the la mer one to try side by side! But as much as I LOVE that radiant look (it looks like I am lit from within just like after a micro needling) i do have to say that CDP does highlight my pore (beautifully nonetheless) and I probably have to find a base that smooth them out before applying it. While the lamer conceal my pore but highlights my dry patches 😢 I think I am going to use the CDP instead! Have you ever tried their lip balm? It has spf but not sure if it has anything extraordinary beside the spf. Wish it was at least tinted 😊

I tried out one during Sephora Press Day (I think it's called Peter Thomas Roth FIRMx No-Filter Primer) and it made the lines on my hand disappear. Could be good for pores too. I have tried their lip balm but I find myself liking the Lip Glorifier more-no SPF though but they do have tinted options!

As someone who hates wearing foundation and rarely wears it unless I have to, I bought this (I have no idea why, lol!) and have been testing it for over two weeks. I have to say that I do love it. It really doesn't look or feel like foundation, and my skin looks so creamy with it on. I have dry skin, but I don't think it's a rich feeling foundation. It's just nourishing. Not my own problem is whether I should use it everyday or not, because, again, I own wear foundation when I need to. 🫤
I'd personally reserve it for special occasions or if my skin really needed the extra hydration. Otherwise, maybe a tinted moisturiser would suffice? You should check out Hermes Plein Air, but it is a bit mattifying. Ultra Violette's Daydream Tinted Veil is great too!
La Prairie's foundation is a weeeee bit cheaper than Cle de Peau Beaute's in Singapore (about S$20?). My issue with most of La Prairie's older products (those formulated before 2020) is the scent. I find them a little too strong and I'm hoping to see a reformulation of their foundation soon, and hopefully they would alter the scent a little.

Does this foundation have spf?
Yes! It has SPF 22, so you should still put on a layer of sunscreen before you apply it.
