    Great video, Desi. You’re radiant even without the foundation, but the formula is sublime! I can’t wait for the review of all five. 😍💕

    Hi Desi, this CDP the Foundation is really the Foundation. It’s so beautiful beyond words!! I got the lightest shade “Very light ivory” and it’s my shade, melted on my skin like a dream and looked flawless!!

    Thanks for this review, Desi!
    Looking forward to your next video.
    Seems like an easy to use, when-in-a-hurry kinda foundation, which is what I am looking for as a working and busy mom of two under 2. 😬 luckily I work most days at home and occasional office visits, so 6 hrs wear suits me, however, for an event or if Ill be out of the house for longer, Ill definitely stick to La Prairie.

    As usual, Desi right to the point😜 🙌🙌🙌 Already looking for that Sisley primer, since i need that “wrinkle eraser” 😂😝 the foundation breaks after 6 hours i dont know. I dont mind when foundation, becomes more skin, fades, but breaking i dont think so. I tried 3 of your list. And , for me, thanks to you, 🙏🙏🙏🙏 😇 , Valmont for dry skin is my absolutely favorite. And i mix little with Chanel highlighting fluid in beige or rosy drops, its amazing. It holds all day, even in a very humid SF weather 🙌 But looking forward to see your ranking video have a blessed day🙏🧡

    I agree with u, it's important that ur foundation has anti-aging & skincare ingredients wen ur over 40 bc it's so close2 ur skin all day. A lot of people just think all they need is sunscreen & a good moisturizer & any old foundation from the drugstore or wherever will do,but I think that's a huge misconception & 1 I had2 learn the hard way..after 40 my skin changed & was extremely dry, I always wore sunscreen & used a good moisturizer but I just kept using the same drugstore foundation I used in my teens,20's & 30's & couldn't figure out y my makeup always looked so bad wen I was younger the same Revlon foundation looked gr8 & it said it had hyaluronic acid in it,but it looked so dry I finally just stopped wearing makeup & was miserable with how my skin looked I didn't wear makeup 4 over a year & finally decided 2 c if I tried higher end makeup with skincare & anti-aging benefits & realized I could actually stil wear makeup & have it look good on my skin again..I jus couldn't wear cheap makeup anymore unfortunately but at least I can wear it..I haven't tried the cle de pou it's alittle 2 pricey 300 4 makeup I can't justify but the chanel sublimage 4 $135 is as high as I wil go & I think as high as even the most dry thirsty skincare needing skin needs..also chantecaille for $89 & Nars light reflecting for $50..these all work really well 4 my aging skin & believe me my skin got dry after I hit 40 so if the cle de pou is 2 expensive then I really recommend 1 of the 3 foundations I jus named

    Hi Desi, thank you for this video...I ordered The CP foundation the other day in O40 and I can't wait to try it. I'm interested in the Sisley Instant perfect Primer, but I would like to ask you if it's also good for dry skin. Thank you, have a nice Sunday ❤

      Hi! Yes, the Sisley Instant perfect primer is suitable for dry skin as well. Also, I don’t apply it everywhere. Just T-zone and over lines.

    Hi, Desi! Thank you for your wonderfully detailed reviews of skin care and skin color products. I would like to know if you believe that The Foundation by Cle de Peau Beauté has a more sheer/lighter coverage than the Radiant Fluid Foundation Natural. I’m looking for a very sheer/light coverage foundation. I have a hunch that The Foundation has sheer coverage, but I just want to get your confirmation, please.

    • @desistark
      @desistark  Рік тому +1

      Hi! Oh, yes, absolutely. The Radiant Fluid Natural is a solid medium coverage, even buildable to high medium. The Foundation is sheer to light.

    I see that you like this sisley instant perfect primer... Do you still use the sisley double tenseur primer + blur powder that you mentioned in your other video? Is it still good to have the "double" in rotation for specific uses. Thanks in advance for your advice!

    • @desistark
      @desistark  Рік тому +1

      Yes, I still absolutely love the Double Tenseur. I use it especially if I feel a bit puffy in the mornings because it helps very quickly. I add the blur if I want the flawless look. The other 2 from Sisley are a recent addition and sometimes I even combine 2. Any 2. I love all of them!

    Hello, I’ve been watching your channel for awhile. I’d love to ask, what’s your favorite high end foundation right now?

    • @desistark
      @desistark  Рік тому

      Hi!! Thank you for watching!
      I mostly buy luxury foundations and don’t know much about high end ones. When it comes to luxury ones, I have quite a few favorites but if I exclude the anti-aging ones (over $220), probably have to go with Cle De Peau Radiant Fluid Natural go.shopmy.us/p-504162.

    • @desistark
      @desistark  Рік тому

      Yes, I have the Radiant Fluid and the Radiant cream foundations. They give more coverage and I prefer a bit more. This one has sheer coverage but the benefit of the anti-aging ingredients so just different.

      Hi! Thank you!! 💛
      Definitely the La Prarie. It’s an actual foundation with buildable coverage. Either one. This is very nice if you like sheer/light coverage. I prefer a bit more.
      I’m posting a video on comparisons on Sunday.

    I have a hard time finding the right shade. I have tried o30 (too dark and too warm) and o20 (still dark and too warm)
    I’m considered light neutral. What color do you suggest?

    • @desistark
      @desistark  10 місяців тому +1

      I’m also a neutral undertone and I go between O10 and O30 depending on how tanned I am. Make sure you set with a white powder, it balances the warm. The Cle De Peau loose powder; Sisley loose; Prisme Libre works as well.

    Maybe you could figure out how to zoom on your camera so that we can get a better view of the texture of the foundation? It’s just so hard to tell otherwise if it’s worth the money.
