Every single person I know that survived cancer (myself included - Cervical cancer) had to wait months for the first consultation or surgery. These doctors and hospitals really don’t give anyone a break. The waiting time is worst than some of the treatments, psychologically speaking!

This story really hit home for me. I just went through the same experience and am in the process of recovering. It’s so true that the mental fatigue I went through and still am going through is just as difficult as recovering physically. Thanks

I also had pains on my right side that I thought was my appendix, had a CT scan and my tumor was in my left kidney…. Had surgery to remove that tumor but I still get my right side pain on and off, Ct and X-ray and ultrasound doesn’t see anything on my right side

I have a renal angiomyolipoma 9cm inside my kidney doctor us recommended to remove my kidney, but the risk is the remaining kidney will be functioning at 30% GFR im soo worried don't know what to do they said i need to decide whether to take it out or keep it , keeping the kidney is another risk which i might collapse or even death, but its 2 in 100 per year, im soo scared what if it does happen

Hi, I liked the clip and it has given me a few helpful ideas. I have just found out about 3 weeks ago that I have a large cancer 73mm on kidney. I am having pre op tests done in two weeks and operation should be two weeks after that. In all it has been really quick and have not had time to dwell. I was told that when going back to work you can get really tired, did you get this? I am a landscaper so not body friendly.

Hi jim d, Glad you found it helpful and also glad your treatment journey seems to be moving along quickly. I think it’s more the cardiovascular fitness that can take a hit. Taking it slow first few weeks definitely helps.

@@jameelqureshi1110 hi Jameel, I can very much emphasize with your story as I was 35 when I got it too. I went to the emergency room in Dec 2020 because my blood pressure was very elevated. I’d never been diagnosed with high bp so it was quite scary. The emergency room doctor noticed my bp was higher on my left side and ordered a ct scan with contrast. The scan came back and they told me I had a mass and to report to my GP. My GP referred me to a urologist and my tumor was out in Jan 2022. Having to deal with this as a young person has been quite anxiety inducing. It’s changed my entire outlook on life.
