You are such a smart patient and it looks like you are getting some amazing care. Thank you for your story and your insights. May all your treatments be successful and may you get that long and happy life you deserve!
I went into the ER with intestinal blockage and vomiting after dealing with light coloured diarrhea and constipation on and off more than usual for about a month. They told me a lot of times before, I had irritable bowel, and I was not thinking to be told anything else this time. So it came as a surprise, when they told me after tons of blood and other examinations. They said, absolute confirmation was only possible after tumor removal. Fine needle aspiration said either pancreatic adenocarcinoma (months to weeks survival) or Neuroendocrine cancer of the pancreas (good two digit survival, if the KI67 Is low. So they did the distal pancreatectomy and removed the tumor. Spleen is still in place and the big incision was fine except my connective tissue weakness caused scar hernia, so they had to do scar repair right a month after the initial surgery. It came out as Low grade 2,no lymph node involvement, no metastatic proof, so I and my team of health care providers are on a watch and screen every few months regime, replacing digestive enzymes as needed. NET are as individual as fingerprints, and they are discovered either by coincidence or rather late in their being there. So if you feel, something is not right, stick to finding out what is wrong. I just got to know a NET person, who is around 25 Years with NET Diagnosis. It is as Burt said a cancer one lives with.

For You
Always & Forever
God Bless you and best of luck! I’m coming up on two years of Left lower lobe on lung and I’m praying that I reach the five year mark
Great interview,this guy gets it.
Because he is still young and has a loving caring family whom he wants to be with.
Best of luck to you.
Diet is a very large part of this….thank you for sharing
another major factor is stress
The chronic lyme’s disease had more to do with this than anything.
