Great stuff thanks...im off to Gdansk in 3 weeks 3 days time.
Love this film! Thank you Ryan!
Short, sweet and informative video. That's the difference between videos produced by journalists and amateurs.
Thanks for the informative video
Poland and Eastern Europe have amazing places pretty and clean - - Italy and the UK look mostly a 3 d world country in. comparison - -
that's only because you're being shown the touristy parts. the city centres and such. when you venture further out you'll be surprised at how visible the aftermath of communism still is.
@@GlendaBlumenthal haha it's funny because I have talked to some poles in Germany and they all, or many say negative things about Poland, yet when I went to Poland it was really good overall!
I mean sure you see some ugly building blocks here and there, but there are lots of beautiful places too and especially in Krakow and Wroclaw I have not seen any quarter I didn't like.
Some underdeveloped towns between Krakow and Ausschwitz I have seen yes, but I think even some of the less renovated small towns of Silesia have their charm for example Henrykow, I briefly visited the church there.
Most of the train stations in Poland seem to be very clean and tidy too I can confirm this experience too.
You know in the west we have a lot of problems believe it or not with vandalism and other crime where people don't feel safe in certain neighbourhoods anymore at all, so it's always interesting how different perspectives can be.
@@karlheven8328 because those poles they left when the country was taking off...now many poles who came back are surprised on the development of the nation
I love fish some day i wish i could be there some day
Jak widzę w restauracji takie "artystyczne" dania to jak najszybciej uciekam ...:D

Why are the shipyards “notorious”?
I was there in 2019

Mercy me.... Whole dish is 1/4 of hering with hennep and grass? With lemon in water? Very fancy.

Going in two weeks!
How was it, thinking of going next week

Kontynuuj i wielkie pozdrowienia

Is GDANSK or the whole country relatively clean?? Been to Belgium. Brussels is the DIRTIEST CITY I've ever been so far. You can just see garbage bags pile in everywhere you look. Really frustrating.
I live in Poland and its pretty clean in all placem in Poland
I know this comment is quite old, but I can’t help myself. There is nothing Belgian about Brussels and there are hardly any Belgians (Flemish or Waloons) living there. It would be sad to judge Belgium based on that horrible shithole.
I have worked in transcom, gdansk. in the so called nordic team they called me homophobic names. the "team leader" "accidentally" made a coat rack fall on me, falling almost on my head.
You need to look up the meaning of the word “notorious”. You’ve completely mis-used it 🤦♂️
And you can still speak Polish in Gdańsk. I guess.

This city has nothing to do with german danzig anymore, cuz the danzing was destroyed in the war in 90%, the Gdansk you see now was builded up by Poles, the old danzing you can only see on old photos and information in the books, this is what old danzing left behind.

Gdańsk was 300 years German and 700 years Polish
Auschwitz death camp this is germany .. never Gdańsk Gdańsk polskie miasto🇵🇱💪 ! Hitlerowski barbarzyńco
... the talking for money? .
Monstrous propaganda - today, that sounds like a mockery.
The total colonization of Poland and the dismantling of Polish sovereignty and the national economy began in Gdańsk.
Today's paradox, there is no more maritime economy, shipyards, Polish merchant fleets, fishing etc ...
The "Solidarity" Museum, like the Yeltsin Museum, is a challenge for human intelligence. Solidarity - (drug for masses) is the first successful "color revolution" - ("maidan") - invented in the "Wild West" - manipulated coup d'état).
The first emissaries of the Great Chutzpah were the emissaries of the Mossad, i.e. the former Stalinist activists and their sons - KOR activists. It's their guide who calls "intellectuals"... :)
The slogans: "Defense of workers, religion" and "Polish values" today evoke laughter and disbelief. The paranoia continues goes New World Order
