Years ago, one day in September, mom and I visited some of her father's family in Gdansk. Next time, one week in the area, may prove more leisurely. 🚂 We enjoyed travelling around Poland by train.

I went to Westerplatte on the pirate ship. It sold beer on board. Gdańsk is a wonderful place and I spent 5 nights there. The hotel across the bridge has a lovely beer hall.

You are very good at making these videos despite your humorously self-effacing critiques of your production skills. Your passion, good character and talents for sharing the beautiful culture and geography of Poland always sustain your work. Thank you for serving our country- Veteran's Day here- and please keep making this valuable series. Blessings Always!

The most beautiful city in Poland, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. There is everything here: monuments, great architecture, wind from the Baltic Sea and happy people of the sea. Gdansk is connected with other cities such as: Sopot and Gdynia, which is called the Trojmiasto. Beautiful beaches and tasty regional cuisine.

Also, I dabbled in broadcasting (in another life, HA! College), and you can cut wind noises on your microphone by putting a condom (I know, it's weird) over it.
Oh, AND! So, LabCorp bought all the lab services for the Ascension Healthcare System, which is where I work. I discovered that LabCorp actually has facilities in Poland! So... maybe in a year or two, I can actually follow through and move to Poland for work! How awesome would that be?

@@markhurning8051 I know, the condom thing is weird. You take the cover off the Mike, put the condom over it, then put the fuzzy cover back on. It actually works, but use an unlubricated one, lol.

In 2013 1 USD = 3 PLN and I felt rich when I visited. Today I would live like royalty! In Gdansk we saw beautifully painted exteriors of buildings, and an apartment building outside the shipyards built in the Soviet era that our tour guide called the ugliest housing ever built. I will enjoy a return visit some day.

Part of the problem was the wind defeating our dead cats “fluff ball on mics” tue other was a connection issue. The 35mm adapter on the mic cord failed. Lesson learned, check audio on every take. Thanks for watching!

I can recommend a great producer Rick Steves, he has a sea of people helping him with it so he puts out a super high quality product (also gets paid pretty well for it - we don’t). There is also the Travel Channel or other, more professional UA-camrs. I hope you will find something that you can enjoy.
