Backpacking the Wind River Range: Titcomb Basin

Our objective was to climb the highest point in Wyoming: Gannett Peak. We trekked into Titcomb Basin and set up base camp. On the early morning summit attempt, my climbing parter Royce got altitude sickness atop Bonney Pass. So I scrambled up to the top of Miriam Peak to watch the sunrise on Gannett and surrounding peaks. Insane amounts of mosquitoes below 10,500 feet. Overall a great trip and beautiful place.
