They also have another song from this session called Impermanence. It’s also as amazing as this one. 👌🏻 I also love when metalbands join forces with an orchestra, it just gives a totally different vibe in the best way possible. 🔥
This is an earlier thing. Impermanence is from the whole playthrough with (an even bigger) orchestra of their last album For Those That Wish to Exist that was available to stream for a while and is now out as a whole album. It is AMAZING.
Thank you for reacting to this. They did their whole last record with orchestra. Pls also react to "impermanance". Its a masterpiece just like this one
As a bass trombone and contrabass trombone player… I was always a metal head first and live for this stuff too. You’d be surprised how many professional orchestral players love metal. One colleague of mine is an asst conductor for a US symphony and has also conducted the PROMS etc.. her fav band is Lorna Shore
Architects is amazing. The original version of this song is worth checking out too on your own time. The whole album this song is from is incredible, honestly.
So happy that you've finally checked out my favourite band!! Sam Carter sounds amazing live, they did the whole 'For those that Wish to Exist' album orchestrally and they also have a few live songs from their concerts on UA-cam as well, Doomsday and Royal Beggars are amazing and show off a completely different set of techniques with Sam's voice
I've discovered this band about a year ago, and just dove into their albums. It's incredible what they made. From this session with the orchestra, i love the 'Dead Butterflies' presentation. It's so powerful.
And also I just love watching you do these, I love your reactions and just straight up love for the music. Also any metal with an orchestra just does everything right for me I LOVE IT
Same conductor as the BMTH show as well. A very talented man to bring orchestra to the metal world. Only problem is you’ll never listen to the originals the same again.
"Ah, that hits so hard" hahahaha, exactly the same feeling here. Metal music combine with an orchestra makes me feel things that I can't explain in any other way
Wow that was awesome, I cant remember if you did Dimmu Borgir - Gateways , the live at Waken festival you have 36 piece orchestra, a choir and a top swedish opera singer collaboration.
Didn't know of them, definitely have to check for more. I love metal and classical instruments together, it's such a nice mix. Metal is closer to classical than people think. I'm a HUGE fan of Epica, they have real master pieces of Metal x Classical orchestra. Thanks for the reaction and the new band to me check list ... and nice jacket BTW :)
This isn't really their normal sound. They took a recent album and recorded it like this as kind of a one off thing. But they're generally more of a metalcore band. Much heavier.
The combination of Metal or just rock in general combined with Orcestra is often a great succes. For example Bring Me The Horizon's life performance at Royal Albert Hall. Using a Orcestra and Choir gave a whole new dimension to their songs.
I would love to hear your thoughts on his voice and singing style more please! He uses so many techniques it's insane. Impermanence really demonstrates this.🙂
I love the band i love the original music and album but with this band andarrangements there is another level, the dynamic range of sound and feel just blow the scale
You should look into Bad Omens saw them for the first time in May and have been stuck listening to there music especially the song The Death of Peace of Mind
You've got to do Sylosis, Josh is the lead guitarist of Architects but he plays lead and sings in Sylosis and they're amazing! Also, do Impermanence from this show too! Seriously good.
please please please check out Rachelle Ferrell. She has a a six octave range and her range also includes the ability to sing in the whistle register. A good example of her incredible instrument is George Duke Band & Rachelle Ferrel - Waiting.
At last, you've found Architects! Probably their most emotive song is Doomsday. It was started by guitarist/singer Tom Searle whilst he was losing a battle with skin cancer. It was completed by the drummer, his twin brother Dan, and vocalist Sam Carter. Either the live version from Alexandra palace, or the official video will blow you away. Another from the Holy Hell album that was released after Tom died, that stands out for me is Royal Beggars. Dan wrote this from a very dark place. The lyrics are incredible. This song, Animals, does not showcase Sam's vocals anywhere near his full potential.
Hello @BethRoars, since you enjoyed the blend of metalcore with a symphony, I have a couple recommendations for you. Australia's Parkway Drive is an amazing metalcore band, and in recent years, they've had a string quartet accompany them on stage for some of their songs. These 2 pair that combination up with some important and rather heavy subject matter. "The Writings on the Wall" -- ua-cam.com/video/fIzSA8dmPb8/v-deo.htmlsi=fs8jx1TOSiTGW-8k "Shadow Boxing" -- ua-cam.com/video/ImQGmFe-wFs/v-deo.htmlsi=eIuQNu6xFu4amHAp I hope you can react to at least one of the 2. ✌🙂
If you like these types of shows, you should look up NOFX - The Decline, with Baz's orchestra. not that interesting vocally for you, but it's a 17-minute punk song, with an added ochestral arrangement. real cool!
fuck it... callin this shit BRASSCORE.... yeah ok no one else? Sigh ok fine. Played trumpet for like 15years... we are a weird breed. This song is literally what band directors for YEARS drilled at you... DYNAMICS dynamics Dynamics.
Oh My Beth, you neeedd to react to the new mv of Dimash. I sweaar its the best mv that he have ever done. Its called The sotry of one sky. you will love.

Agreed, Impermanence is way better than this one and has more interesting vocals
i was gonna say its always a bit disjointed. they just add shit to it rather than having it meaningfully change the song
Thank you for reacting to this. They did their whole last record with orchestra. Pls also react to "impermanance". Its a masterpiece just like this one
Architects Impermanence Live at Abby Road
The “dream within a dream within a” after the breakdown gave me goosebumps.
I love Architects so much, their lyrics are so strong and their arrangements are so beautiful, it hits so hard
Have watched you for years and you're still one of the best. Great stuff.
Great to see that you did this. I love Sams voice when he mixes it up between the screams and gentle cleans.
Architects is amazing. The original version of this song is worth checking out too on your own time. The whole album this song is from is incredible, honestly.

No idea how Sam sung the whole album front to back in one session, absolute beast!
I love how excited you get reacting to these. I had the same reaction when i heard the full set. Favourite album in my library right now
I've discovered this band about a year ago, and just dove into their albums. It's incredible what they made.

"Ah, that hits so hard" hahahaha, exactly the same feeling here. Metal music combine with an orchestra makes me feel things that I can't explain in any other way
You need to listen to more of their music. They simply are talented.
One of my favourite songs from Architects!

This was one of their better releases recently & I’m very happy with this version
Got to see them recently on tour with biffy clyro & been a fan ever since bought all there albums 🤘🔥
So happy you finally did this one!
This version sounds Heavier!! I loved it so much!! 🔥
Merci pour la decouverte ! Le mixage avec l'orchestre est dingue, le rythme est super prenant, j'adore !
6:59--"This is overwhelmingly amazing" May be the best description possible for this song!
As always something new for me to listen 😃 thx and have a nice day 😃
I was so happy they re-did this album at abbey road, loved it. 🤘🤘🤘
Adding that orchestrial vibe gives to most music that extra emotional layer! Love it to!! Architectual masterpiece?
Glad someone suggested this!! You really need to listen to “Impermanence” by then at Abby Road!
This was another awesome reaction and demonstration of some great music. I, too enjoy a nice orchestral version.
Another brilliant 👏 video! The reactions on your face convey so much. Would love to see what you think of Dallas Green, or The Black Queen.
ahhh how have I not seen your video on one of my favourite bands. Sam is an INSANE vocalist
Now this is Blergh-estra as i like it. Nice reaction, by the way, dear Beth!
Love this band, glad you listened to this 😄
The Intro is so Perfect for a Movie Trailer.
Every Brit ought to know Architects. They're national treasure.
Doing the unexpected can subvert your expectations in a really cool way.
Wow that was awesome, I cant remember if you did Dimmu Borgir - Gateways , the live at Waken festival you have 36 piece orchestra, a choir and a top swedish opera singer collaboration.

Architects is more of a djenty metalcore band
This isn't really their normal sound. They took a recent album and recorded it like this as kind of a one off thing. But they're generally more of a metalcore band. Much heavier.
For more Architects, I recommend Memento Mori, Black Lungs and Doomsday. There are so many good ones though.
The combination of Metal or just rock in general combined with Orcestra is often a great succes. For example Bring Me The Horizon's life performance at Royal Albert Hall. Using a Orcestra and Choir gave a whole new dimension to their songs.

I love the band i love the original music and album but with this band andarrangements there is another level, the dynamic range of sound and feel just blow the scale
For orchestral metal; Devin Townsend live at Plovdiv and Dimmu Borgir live at Waken or Forces of the Northern Lights
That reaction at 5:10 is why I watch reaction videos.
I'd love to see you react to orville pack's live recording for Let Me Drown!
I would love to see you check out Rory Rodriguez's vocals in Dayseeker!
100% bliss
This set was incredible.. would love to see you do impermanence as well
Gotta give it up for symphonic metal!!!! What a great sound!
you HAVE to do impermanence from this seasion. it's absolutely stunning
Was hoping they'd release Libertine, such a great song.
Yeeeeess ... I Only can say YEEEEESSSS 🔥
You should look into Bad Omens saw them for the first time in May and have been stuck listening to there music especially the song The Death of Peace of Mind
If you haven’t already look for live version of Blue Oyster Cult Godzilla
still remember it 45 years later
I love this song and this version it’s stunning. I feel like you should listen to bad omens
You've got to do Sylosis, Josh is the lead guitarist of Architects but he plays lead and sings in Sylosis and they're amazing!
Also, do Impermanence from this show too! Seriously good.
Amazing! Check out 'Impermanence' from the same recording. Incredible stuff
Brass against umbra, karnivool roquefort some great metal tunes that use full brass
please please please check out Rachelle Ferrell. She has a a six octave range and her range also includes the ability to sing in the whistle register. A good example of her incredible instrument is George Duke Band & Rachelle Ferrel - Waiting.
Another request for Impermanence 😁 Great reaction!
Love your work! Would love to watch your reaction to Kimbra covering Nina Simone's 'Plain Gold Ring' the live Rockwiz version.
Just watched your BMTH Albert Hall video and commented that you should check out Architects and seems you already have! 😂
HUGE chorus
You should check out Imminence their vocalist plays violin while sing/screaming its sick
If you can, listen to "That Distant Blue" from Architects. One of the highest point of Sams voice.
At last, you've found Architects! Probably their most emotive song is Doomsday. It was started by guitarist/singer Tom Searle whilst he was losing a battle with skin cancer. The original is good but this in my opinion just bring the song to a new hight it’s so good ❤

I hope you can react to at least one of the 2. ✌🙂
They did a whole album with the orchestra actually.
Not sure but this reminds me some of a band called Port Noir. You should do their song Youngbloods.
React to one ok rock - we are ( concert live )
If you like these types of shows, you should look up NOFX - The Decline, with Baz's orchestra. not that interesting vocally for you, but it's a 17-minute punk song, with an added ochestral arrangement. real cool!
You neeeeed to do more of Architects! For example Doomsday or Hereafter.
I'm not familiar with this but, I'm intrigued now.
Please check out Royal Blood - Limbo (Orchestral Version)
This feels like a movie theme dare I say Bond... James Bond.
This is modern Kashmir
You should do a reaction on Space by Biffy Clyro. The orchestral version of that song is also amazing, just like this one 😉
can you react 510 band from indonesian. the song name is call Alive

fuck it... callin this shit BRASSCORE.... yeah ok no one else? Sigh ok fine. Played trumpet for like 15years... we are a weird breed. This song is literally what band directors for YEARS drilled at you... DYNAMICS dynamics Dynamics.
I wish they would have used this recording for the live album. It is so much better than the one they used.
You have to react to children of bodom's lake bodom or are you dead yet or finnish eurovision winner lordi hard rock hallelujah
Please reaction Wonderland Indonesia 2 by alffy Rev
The orchestral version of their song 'Impermanence' is arguably even better!
Army Jacket is on.... You know good music is coming.
