Right! Lol so funny. Ok so you use creamer in coffee when the coffee is black and you want to make it creamier. You do not use it, not typically, in coffee that is already creamy. Lol
As an American the creamer killed me 😂it’s definitely in place of milk but the liquid ones are SO much better than the powder. They usually have powder in work offices. The creamer makes your coffee lighter and sweeter. The liquid ones come in so many different flavors!
You're supposed to use the creamer *instead* of milk or real cream. Add it to black coffee and stir. Start with about a teaspoon and add more if it's not milky enough. The point of it is it doesn't have to be refrigerated and doesn't go bad so it's popular in offices and other places where you want to make coffee but might not have a fridge!

You can also make your own simple syrup by simmering together raw sugar and water and then slicing and adding Vanilla Beans or any flavored extract if you want a more organic version. At Christmas time I made a small amount of peppermint simple syrup that I added to basically everything for three months.
The part where you’re showing the coffees and James was like “this is interesting you can’t see us or the coffees” cracked me up! My husband would say something like that lol 😂
There's also the uploaded stream video on delis second channel (from like.... 10 months ago?) From when they first announced it. I think it is titled something like we spill the tea. (I meant to type this originally but I was late for work)

I've been going to therapy on and off for 20 years or so and its always scary to go the first few times. I've cried in front of them, left early and sat in silence before. They are there to cater to what you need and if they don't do that its time to move on and find one who will.
Do we need to mail some creamer from the US? The one in my fridge is a 64fl oz bottle & lasts ages! So good in black coffee. James is def right that his cup at the beginning is a small in the US lol.
I've never tried floating, but the gym I used to go to had a shallow warm pool between the main pool and the changing rooms. After my swim I'd stretch in the warm pool and then float for a while - it's the most serene I've ever been. Unfortunately where I live now none of the gyms or pools have anything like that. There's something so soothing about water.
I just scheduled my float for tomorrow. I'm so looking forward to being surround by warmth and darkness. I'm stressed to the max and I always feel better after floating and using the extra fancy spa showers.
as an Australian, WHY? I just don't understand. I had a coffee with that powdered stuff in Canada and the US and I just don't get it. Why not just milk?

The pockets are stuck together using a basting stitch, it's used to keep the shape while sewing.... You also get a basting stitch on the back of coats a little cross where the split is. I didn't realise this till I started working with clothes makers

Pockets in jackets are usually sewn closed until they're sold so that they 1) sit nicely on the hanger/display, and 2) so the garment doesn't become misshapen from people putting their hands in them when they try the garment on! It should be a simple single running stitch, so just wiggle your finger into the hole at the top and pull firmly to open the pocket. SUPER CUTE coat, btw :)
Hey Deli, Therapy is amazing! I specifically see a psychologist as I suffer with anxiety as well and it helps me so much with using tools to cope with it. Love seeing you both happy and healthy :) Hi from WA 😀
Creamer is used instead of milk. We use it when we are out of milk or when we go camping. Ours looks the same but it is called Cremora coffee creamer or Ellis Brown. Just use about one to two teaspoons per cup. Enjoy x
Coffee Mate is a brand of coffee whitener. It is used instead of milk usually when it is inconvenient to keep milk fresh and is added as a powder. Creamer comes in a bottle in the refrigerated dairy section and is usually flavored... like hazelnut or salted caramel etc
Creamer is basically a flavored replacement to milk and sugar in black coffee. Because that’s essentially what it is, premixed milk, sugar, and vanilla (or whatever other flavors they have).
The pockets are sewn closed so that the garment keeps its tailored shape :) As people try on clothes, the fabric changes, especially that in the pockets (they get stretched out). Sometimes the slits that are in the back are sewn closed as well, so you have to remove the stitches yourself there, too.
Hiya! Tips for creamer from an American: 1- Creamer is a replacement for milk. 2- liquid creamer is the best! 3- when using powdered creamer it’s best to add to the bottom of the cup before adding coffee. The hot coffee helps the powder mix better. If you add powdered creamer to cooled coffee it will form clumps
I add a little bit of the flavored creamer to black cofffee to give it more of a flavor. But I also sometimes just use half and half if I don’t want it super sweet. My grandparents used to use the powder and seeing that just brought back so many memories. My grandparents started me on my coffee addiction when I was little. Now that they’re gone I think about them every so often when I’m enjoying a cup.
Creamer is best for just plain old black coffee. I put 2 teaspoons of powdered creamer in the mug forst then add the fresh brewed coffee to it. The creamer will disolve. Also i don't know if Australia has it but look into finding coffee syrups or just order coffee syrup from amazon. They come in a variety ways and flavors if you're interested in adding something extra to your coffee. And never overlook the simplicity of adding Pure Maple Syrup to it. Its delicious and easy to get. Plus most already have it in their fridge.
I have broad shoulders too I get your pain. Lol when you showed us the powder creamer I cringed lol 😂 it’s def not the same as normal liquid creamer. (from an American) I wish we could just send you liquid creamer so you could get the full experience but lol it’s milk so that’s a no go. Is the tank deep? Or is it like a bath tub?
I quit adding cream and sugar to my coffee years ago, but I have added the special flavored creamers occasionally when I visited my sister because she always had flavors like Almond Joy and Reeses. I can't believe how much we have here in America of so many things. We are so spoiled with options!
"stop trying to butter my muffin on camera!" omg... I'm crying! Also, in the states we use the coffee mate as substitute for the milk too. American coffee isn't made with milk, just coffee and water. The CoffeeMate in the states is also preflavoured. NOM.
Creamer is usually a replacement for milk and/or sugar depending on if you get flavoured or not. It's also often a lactose free option as most creamers are lactose free.
Deli, u and James are absolutely adorable tgthr. Been watching u both for awhile now and alwys thought u guys had great chemistry. So glad for u guys ❤💜❤
I specifically add creamer to my black coffee instead of like milk and sugar. It essentially takes place for those, but I use liquid creamer. In the US they have MANY flavors
All new jackets have sewn pockets bc it’s “proof” you’ve got a new one and not just a returned item from another person that has maybe sweated in it for a couple of days before giving it back 😂
The coffemate is instead of milk! Just add it to plain black coffee. It's supposed to be for when you can't get milk or for places that want to give you coffee (like when your waiting for your car at the mechanics)
Coffee mate is a “whitener” meaning it gives coffee the appearance of being creamy without actually doing anything to the coffee. A lot of office spaces will use it if they don’t have a fridge to keep cream available. The creamer you’re looking for is liquid and sweetened already!
We have coffee mate here in Australia, I have one sitting on my bench. So I knew what coffee mate was but had no idea what a creamer was?? Coffee mate all by itself in a way tastes like powder milk.
Creamer goes into black coffee as a milk substitute. And it's done to taste preference. Always add powdered cream to hot coffee. Not lukewarm or cold or it'll clump and not melt.
I like these random bits and pieces of yalls lives. Nothing too invasive but its nice to hear from you and see what you're up to every once in a while!
Love when you and James do a vlog. You two are so likable. Fun times. Happy for you both. You are so silly with the creamer and the pockets and the impromptu photo shoot when you burned the toast. Adorable.

I'm almost sure that most women's clothes do have pockets, we just don't realise they are sown shut. It's happened to me more than once Dx hahahaahahah
Powdered creamer, like Coffee Mate, is meant to be used instead of milk. It's typically used in public coffee areas, like an office break room, where milk would spoil.

At Christmas time I made a small amount of peppermint simple syrup that I added to basically everything for three months.
Aussie Legends try to figure out Coffee Mate for 8 mins
...and I'd watch it again!
The part where you’re showing the coffees and James was like “this is interesting you can’t see us or the coffees” cracked me up! My husband would say something like that lol 😂
Me who never even knew they were together and was just questioning the other day why I heard James in the background of Deli’s other video:
👁👄👁 I-
MEEE
I JUST FOUND THIS OUT AND IM CONTEMPLATING LIFE-
They have a channel together! Its cute content but not a lot of videos yet
There's also the uploaded stream video on delis second channel (from like.... 10 months ago?) From when they first announced it. I think it is titled something like we spill the tea. (I meant to type this originally but I was late for work)
SAME
Thank you for sharing your "float" experience, Deli! I've always been interested in trying myself and your perspective was awesome to hear.
When James picked up that fan I thought it was a refridgerator door or something 👁️👄👁️
Right. I thought it was a tiny washing machine 😂😂
I couldn't understand what the thing he was holding was other than it being a shield of some sorts with a bug circle in the front. But then he was moving it side to side and I realized it was a weird looking fan 🤣
I thought it was the range hood
Therapy is really a godsend. It’s hard as hell, but the payback to yourself is worth every bit of it. Love these videos, thank you for being so honest and vulnerable. I’m rooting for you, Deli. Lots of love ❤️
i was stressing soooo much when you were carrying that super full coffee with your pretty new trench coat ;D
also omg do you guys not have an extractor fan O-O
@@DyingTemptation 🤣🤣
I've been going to therapy on and off for 20 years or so and its always scary to go the first few times. I've cried in front of them, left early and sat in silence before. They are there to cater to what you need and if they don't do that its time to move on and find one who will.
The back slit of the coat is usually sown closed at the bottom too :)
This has happened to me too!
I appreciate how Deli sat in her car and spoke at the end. I see vloggers driving and filming too often. 😊
You just add the coffee mate to the coffee instead of milk/cream. I recommend adding it to the cup then brewing the coffee over it.
I just scheduled my float for tomorrow. I'm so looking forward to being surround by warmth and darkness. I'm stressed to the max and I always feel better after floating and using the extra fancy spa showers.
Powdered creamer is totally different than the liquid creamers! Also you don’t need milk when you use creamers. It’s a substitute
as an Australian, WHY? I just don't understand. I had a coffee with that powdered stuff in Canada and the US and I just don't get it. Why not just milk?
@@ashybrie I think powdered creamer is usually used places where refrigeration isn't available or if your office mates can't be bothered to put the milk away like civilized people. It's also non-dairy so lactose intolerant people can use it.
AshyBrie Because they’re usually dairy free! So for people with lactose allergies, they’re a great way to make your coffee not only light and creamy but they also come in so many flavors
The pockets are stuck together using a basting stitch, it's used to keep the shape while sewing.... You also get a basting stitch on the back of coats a little cross where the split is. I didn't realise this till I started working with clothes makers
i’m in a small canadian province and i’m having the same problems trying to find a therapist right now!! they all seem to be full, but that encouraged me to keep looking!!
i too am working towards a minimalist wardrobe!! ahh and i went to float once, i definitely want to try it again. you were definitely visibly calmer and relaxed afterwards. great vlog, deli! 💙
If you two ever have a son and he's not named Timmy, I'll be disapointent
Enjoy x
“Stop trying butter my muffin on camera” 😭💀 love you two
Coffee Mate is a brand of coffee whitener. It is used instead of milk usually when it is inconvenient to keep milk fresh and is added as a powder. Creamer comes in a bottle in the refrigerated dairy section and is usually flavored... like hazelnut or salted caramel etc
“Yes”
Looks like he really wants to say no
😆
Creamer is basically a flavored replacement to milk and sugar in black coffee. Because that’s essentially what it is, premixed milk, sugar, and vanilla (or whatever other flavors they have).
Omg I Lolled about the creamer confusion. Creamer is an alternative for the regular milk.
The pockets are sewn closed so that the garment keeps its tailored shape :) As people try on clothes, the fabric changes, especially that in the pockets (they get stretched out). Sometimes the slits that are in the back are sewn closed as well, so you have to remove the stitches yourself there, too.
I love when you do these vlogs! Definitely do them more often :)
I was just watching Rags to Repayment part 18 (working my way through them, trying to catch up!) And this popped up! So excited! 🤗
I’ve been seeing a therapist over Skype for almost a year, it’s much nicer than being in person especially with anxiety
Yes
I quit adding cream and sugar to my coffee years ago, but I have added the special flavored creamers occasionally when I visited my sister because she always had flavors like Almond Joy and Reeses. I can't believe how much we have here in America of so many things. We are so spoiled with options!
"stop trying to butter my muffin on camera!" omg... I'm crying!
Also, in the states we use the coffee mate as substitute for the milk too. American coffee isn't made with milk, just coffee and water. The CoffeeMate in the states is also preflavoured. NOM.
I missed delis vlogs, it's so relaxing to watch
Creamer is usually a replacement for milk and/or sugar depending on if you get flavoured or not. It's also often a lactose free option as most creamers are lactose free.
Deli, u and James are absolutely adorable tgthr. Been watching u both for awhile now and alwys thought u guys had great chemistry. So glad for u guys ❤💜❤
Love the glimpses of your life together with James! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more vlog style content! 💜
Deli could play the adult version of a Millie Bobby brown movie character
Coffee mate does have an affect on texture and flavor wym
Creamer goes into black coffee as a milk substitute. And it's done to taste preference. Always add powdered cream to hot coffee. Not lukewarm or cold or it'll clump and not melt.
I love the trenchcoat! Minimal wardrobe suits you so much
Yay! Thank you
I like these random bits and pieces of yalls lives. Nothing too invasive but its nice to hear from you and see what you're up to every once in a while!
I don't even watch Deli's or James' sims videos, I'm just here for their relationship
Love when you and James do a vlog. You two are so likable. Fun times. Happy for you both. You are so silly with the creamer and the pockets and the impromptu photo shoot when you burned the toast. Adorable.
"The Turners", huh? What is happening...😁
Therapy has been very helpful for me, when I’ve found one that I can click with, otherwise I’ve found it stressful. I’d definitely recommend dedicating the time to find one that gets you, and you can always set your boundaries of comfort and familiarity with them too. Sending virtual hugs from across the globe, you’ve got this 🤗🥳
I love how you both are so confused with the creamer 😂😂
We use it in Europe too btw!
Wait, we do? 😬
yeah ahah, do we? i’ve never seen it at supermarkets... it probably depends on the country
@@bpptrzpz Wait, are you Spanish too? Maybe it's just us. We like our colacao too much. 😅
It's at least everywhere in the Netherlands ~ we use it as a substitute for milk. My grandma always had many tubs of cheap, off-brand powdered coffee creamer just in case.
@@leyrefl8575 soy portuguesa :)
I used to watch you guys back in 2014 and 15, and stopped watching because I stopped playing the sims, but I’m so glad I came back to your channel and see you guys are together and happy. I always used to ship you guys when you were friends. I still don’t play the sims as much, but I feel so nostalgic watching your content again. :-)
Come for the vlog and content, stay for the Devil Wears Prada references...
God I love Deli and James.
My mom has used Coffeemate creamer since I was a kid in the 70’s. She puts a couple heaping teaspoons in her HOT black coffee. It’s just used in place of milk. I’m a black coffee person myself. Hello from East Tennessee. Love your videos with James!
James: I just wish it was colder today so you could actually wear it
Me, who forget about time zones and season difference: wtf do you mean you wish it was colder its like -10°C en there is snow and ice everywhere
I relate
Lol It's 15 degrees F here in Michigan (USA), and the schools were closed yesterday because of the half a foot of snow that fell the night before. Wish it was as warm as it is in Australia!
Hi! Canadian here 🇨🇦! I was having a good laugh while you guys were trying to figure out coffee mate. Typically you use coffee mate on a regular black coffee, about 2-3 teaspoons and no milk! Then add 2 teaspoons of sugar for your classic double double
I loved it! Keep on doing vlogs, it's so relaxing!
They usually sew the pockets shut on jackets so they don't get broken in and spread super wide open when many customers try them on and shove their hands in the pockets. Blazers often have pockets that are sewn shut too. It is just for protection basically. 😊
