Question why is the XP glitch even a thing? Most importantly why is it on console? Did they not think that people would plug their keyboards in and try it out? Like this is Bethesda level of broken.
probably a leftover debug thing, to test powers during development. Forgot to take it out. That's why it's on console as well as PC, because they just forgot it. That, or it's intentional like in the good old days, where games had cheats and you could have fun with any game. I mean noone is forcing anybody to use the XP gain, it's not like it's a bug or broken thing. You can think of it like an easy mode. Use it or don't.
I like the way you think but it is definitely not intentional at least for PC as for consoles sure i could expect that it was intentional as no one would expect you to plug a keyboard into it. Yet i could also get how someone would think it a bug as the console versions are so bugged and glitchy like the Fergal boss fight like how that happened i don't know.
I don't really get your reasoning as to why it is definitely not intentional. There is nothing that tells us "this isn't intentional" other than the fact that it's free XP and you don't get that in games nowadays. But there isn't something like a rulebook or guidelines when making a game. You can very well "hide" cheats, eastereggs and fun stuff that make the game a joke in it. "Hide" being in quotations, because pressing P isn't really that well hidden. I found no source with any comment of the devs regarding this feature, whether it's a bug, will get fixed, or whatever. And from my understanding of programming, it's way more likely that it was put in intentionally, as a button press generating XP is kinda too simple for being the result of accidental code-fuckery. I mean glitches are rarely that simple, the best example that comes to my mind is in Dark Souls 1: The duplication glitch for some items works differently whether your character is female or male. Female characters have to 2 hand their weapon or have one of about 7 or so specific weapons in their right hand for it to work. You usually get weird conditions and complicated inputs that are required for glitches and bugs to give a certain result. Look at it like this: The action "Press P" isn't part of any situation where the player gets XP. It usually opens up the citizen menu. If it was something like repeatedly entering and exiting certain parts of the map, so that enemies respawn and die or something, and this would generate XP, that would most certainly be an unintentional glitch, but something as simple as "Press P when looking at Skill generates XP" really seems deliberate. Until the feature get's removed or I find any source where a dev states it's an accidental leftover, I for one think it's an intentional cheat to make further playthroughs more fun, interesting, easier.
Ok everywhere i look people are calling it a glitch even speedrunners are like this guy. I can't accept this as a feature/intentional until i see confirmation of the devs saying so.
honestly the commentary makes this even better lmao
Cara vc é muito ninja mesmo terminar o jogo todo com esse tempo, tiro o chapéu!!
Got scared when I first bought this game. I played and idolized it so much, but things started falling down when I was home alone.
No expoit possible with the Bug where you press tab then press tab again, hold it press a key, keep holding said key and release tab?
This causes the input Key to get stuck, unfortunately i wasnt able to find a use for it yet
Damn, only 1 hr and 30 mins? Holy shit!
Uses a cheat and still barely beats the world record... Nice
very good and thanks for correcting my run I hope the next one gets better 👏👏🙌🙏
nice..a shadow dash simulator..no enemies...
I managed to get infinite sprint once, cant reproduce it for now
I triggered a glitch before the boatride when skipping the cutscene. It completely skipped over to the next cutscene
Is this still an active glitch?
Anybody can be a god at Overwatch. Auto aiming!
Is there any recent exploits for exp on Xbox one?
Idk
I think that is fixed

you said it was a no glitch run but then use the exp glitch and spam P? waste of skin mate
It's an any% run. That means it's viable
Glitch?
Rather use trainer to it
:)
Is the exp glitch possible on consoles
Yeah, you just need to hook a keyboard to your console then just hold the P key when you have selected an upgrade in the upgrade menu.
cheat, not a real sr!

Can you do that XP Glitch on Console? If so, how? Thanks!

Hope they'll fix the XP glitch :) everyone can do a run like this, it's just lame.
They are fixing it, but even when they do you would just use an older patch.
Cheater, don’t see that
