  • Ultra soft bait with incredible scent. Has a great kicking action too. Much better than my usual Bass Pro crappie tubes. BUT. The Price. A bit too much.. I wish I could buy it in bulk and ad 20% of the price..

    That alot of action, they seem to work very well. Like you said kinda expensive but at least you can catch multiple fish on a bait. Wonder if they would work for surf perch or trout. I might do a challenge and see if I can catch saltwater species on them. Probably won't last as long. Thanks again my friend great video and review. Looks like they are a winner

    Not a bad day. Good for you. Not a total believer in the artificial scented baits. My buddy and I were slamming gills a while back. We thought it would be a good time to try the Berkley power bait maggots or what ever they were. We put it on and the gills attacked it to within a 1/4 inch then immediately backed paddled away from the bait. That turned us off that stuff forever. Obviously it works but I don't think it will out fish real bait.

      Mark, in all honesty... yesterday I fished them again and they triggered bites on spots where I cast for 5 minutes with all my other stuff. I don't know about miracles... the fish needs to be there on the first place. But I noticed they don't let go right away like when they bite my other tubes. • @ifishcatfish
      @ifishcatfish  5 років тому

      At the end of the hair rig there is a tiny loop. U run a thin stick, called a stopper , through the loop. I have a video called pineapple boilies vs corn where i show it. But there are better videos on youtube. Typing on my phone now, will send u the link later

      casting the actual corn cob? I have never heard of such technology : ) Be sure to send me some image on the email that would help me understand that rig. Also - what are you trying to do? Catch carp? Why not feeder and packbait? They emit more scent than a corn cob and break down into eatable particles on the bottom.. If you are into carp fishing i can send you a couple of pre tied feeder rigs. You owe me pictures with carp with them : )

    • @ifishcatfish
      @ifishcatfish  5 років тому

      Crappie have excellent eyesight, but look at this water.... they can't see nothing 8' down... only shades.. I had a 300 fish day on another lake but with the same clip earlier this year... I thought the same thing but when I tested it - it didn't matter. Actually I think it catches more fish, because the jig is attached very losely and has much freeer action..
      I bought these from amazon... this is the 1" size. They still show 4.99
