    its great that you fished with the "nibble" alone - a lot of people put the nibbles on with jigs etc...and you cant say thats an honest test of the bait itself.
    Thanks, Alex

    Power bait nibbles is what I primarily use here on Florida for Bluegill and I love this bait as it has many times out fished my friends using live worms. And it's simple, if one does not do well; all I do is change color of this bait. Nada a problema!! By the way, love your videos! Great information. 👍🐟

  • @dahutful
    @dahutful 5 років тому +3

    The thing about bluegill is they tend to school by size. So if you’re catching small ones, it’s unlikely you’ll catch big ones in with them.
    Also larger ones tend to be deeper than smaller ones.
    But I’m impressed by the crappie nibbles. I never tried them, I never thought much of them. Now I’ll have to get some

    Thanks for the test. I'll get some for me, er my kids.😉. Having fished for many years, I just considered the dropshot rig a gimmick to sell special tackle. Having watched Mr. Realistic use them effectively in past videos, I have them as one of my main go to rigs. Thanks again.

    I've used them from time to time on a #12 dry fly hook with my Tenkara fly rod for bluegill, sunnies, and even cichlids. No weight etc. They tend to sink more slowly that way and the fish kill them. My go to colors are white and tan. you can also smear them on hooks or other baits, or stuff them into tubes as added attractant. They're good for 5-6 fly casts before they dissolve and fall off, but the fish usually get them first.

    Great vid brother. Have yet to try the crappie nibbled. My go-to lures for crappie at the moment are the arkie soft plastic shad jigs and the johnson min-o-dart. Crappie fishing's pretty big at my spot in PA. Another popular lure for crappie is the powerbait atomic tube. Those are just the ones I've seen work the best or what I've had the most luck on.

    When the bobber hitting the water is louder than your fish hitting the water 😭😭😭

    My buddy (a fellow subscriber) left a jar of those at my house. I may have to go down to the neighborhood pond and try them out.
    ...unless he sees this post and asks for them back. 😜

    I use the chartreuse ones to catch bluegill for bait. They work in a pinch.

    Powerbait crappie nibbles are a staple bait for me. I’ve been using them since I was a kid.

    The ice fishing jigs you got would be perfect with a Crappie Nibble on the end.

    Used to use them to tio k...i igs for crappie. They work pretty well, but I started tipping jigs with minnows instead so that it ups the bait's profile.

    • @RealisticFishing
      @RealisticFishing  6 років тому

      In that case. the minnow is what attracts the fish, not the jig.

      @@RealisticFishing Well it's a mutual benefit. The jig gives the presentation some color. Makes it easier to acquire for a sight feeding fish like a crappie. The minnow adds scent and vibration when it struggles. You also go from a 2-2.5 inch presentation to something that's 3 or 4 inches depending on your jig a minnow size.
