Good vid man! For as small as a channel you are you did great and should have many more subs in the future. Don’t be afraid of trying new shit and different challenges. Best of luck to you.
You may not believe it but these work in salt water too! I've caught flounder off the pier with the orange color! I had run out of worms & I figured I didn't have anything to lose - I was very surprised!
Nothing stronger than 6 pound mono and if you get desperate put 2 slightly dried marshmallows above a nightcrawler on a size 6 hook. I cant count how many trout I've caught floating a worm off the bottom
I've noticed the golden rainbow/ palomino seem to go more for a natural color presentation vs bright color .. I have caught a few on corn in my adventures but mostly all came on actual red worms or night crawlers or something similar
Until you tried the BROWN on your third cast. I was certain that you were at a Trout Farm PAY by the INCH... LOL... Those are some nice S L A B S... I'm still NOT convinced that I'm not RIGHT, but I'll give you benefit of the doubt. LOL.. Great Video.
In all my years of fishing... I've never met another angler that tossed right handed and then switched and reeled with the right hand... (technically left handed grip) LIKE MYSELF! I've actually just recently gone full blown right handed and it still feels awkward reeling with my left hand haha! BEAUTIFUL FISH!!!
I don't understand why the reel handle is on the left side for "right handed" spinning rods when every other model of fishing pole no matter how large is right side retrieve. Pushbutton, baitcasting, saltwater broom sticks for 700lb tuna!! Puzzles me but I suppose to each there own. Thanks for watching
@@NRVOutdoors Ironically I can notice you with that, but I never noticed that with other reels I don't use often! haha hey man tight lines! keep it up!
Great video, you should do it with the berkely gulp leeches though. Caught an 8 pounder last summer doing that. Hopefully get a repeat this year on film.
ya those power worms catch em everywhere ive fished. Trout, steelhead, stripers, bass on jigs ,below a bobber, Carolina rigged whatever they just work same as micetails
These worms work great fishing ultralight gear, use a small split shot about a foot ahead of the worm. Cast and retrieve, but twitch the rod tip to give the worm a darting action. Trout will clobber it if you are doing this technique properly. Catch a big one! 🎣🤠👍
I like watching your vids.just recently I fished at my local pond and used the pink trout worm and put a power egg above and put a scent and I was just killing him.they hit the bait as soon as it hit the water so tight lines
They are usually more sensitive than bass and need revive if they've been out of the water for long. They also tend to swallow baits whole and get the hook all the way down in their stomach, i usually keep if that happens.
Wow they hit quick on the orange fast! Would go with others than brown. I have never seen a gold trout!? Must be a specie that is in only certain parts of the US?
Where and what name of the creek where you fishing.? If I caught one of them gold trout I would have to keep it and have it mounted no questions asked.
I caught 5 trout on the brown this past Saturday but rigged the worm differently. White has always been good and will be trying the pink and yellow in the near future.
I'm fishing in a stock trout pond with no current. Do I have to put additional movement into the bait on the float? Maybe a slip bobber bc not sure how deep the pond is?
I only fish power bait worms for trout and dolly varden here in Alaska they work ABSOLUTELY AMAZING I catch at least 10 trout every time I use them I wacky rig them with a size 8 octopus hook and let it drift down the creek naturally and they just inhale em
I used whacky rigged pink power worms with split shot for the first time this winter and slayed the trout in AZ. I was surprised at the action and how well they work
Try fishing with a small circle hook for trout. If you don't know how to fish with circle hooks the fish has to turn the hook in mouth in order to hook in corner of mouth.
First time , now subscribed ! Wow, what a beautiful " Golden Trout " ! First I've ever seen, whata catch. I've heard of them tho first time seeing one. I live in Florida so I have to get up North for trout. I'ed love to catch a Golden tho I hear they are only the high Sierras of California and some other western states. Soooo.... not a chance for me. Tho there are plenty other trout in the Eastern states. Thanks for the video with the Berkley Power Worms rigged " wacky worm " per the East. I love to fish with lite gear. Tom Daytona Beach, FL.
These golden trout are quite different than the goldens out west. Essentially they are rainbow trout with a rare pigmentation. However the history and background of these fish are fascinating. Be sure to keep up with the channel because I will be touching on this subject soon.
What is the little device you use to cut the extra line after you tied the hook? Looks handy Was a good video of my friend I'm going to get some of those pinch Bates you were talking about right now much love-TTO
I never would have dreamed that trout would hit plastic. I bought some of these in White and Bubblegum and trout slammed them. I was shocked. Then again, a stocked trout will hit a tennis shoe.....lol. Nightcrawler color did not work for me either.
Anyone ever tried a mini senko for trout, I've literally caught every species on a green senko! P.s first or second time I ever went stream trout fishing, I caught a large golden trout. I had no idea how rare they were, until I looked it up, beautiful fish.

But where is it
Was wondering what's the length of line from your float to hook.
Thanks

That last fish was beautiful. Releasing them is a good move. Well done.
I like how eco-friendly you are. Keep up the great work!
"pinch one off" 🤣🤣🤣 that has a totally different meaning up here!
Love the gold trout at the end! wowza! good information too on those worms! cheers!
Thanks for actually showing proof.. one of the best trout videos out here.
Even with the clickbait tiles he puts on every one of his videos???
Pink powerworms are like pink starburst for trout. I’ve even hooked into bass. You definitely need a variety though.
You may not believe it but these work in salt water too! I've caught flounder off the pier with the orange color! I had run out of worms & I figured I didn't have anything to lose - I was very surprised!
Pink is my favorite one! It is killing
Music Heaven I agree ☝️
That's the first good vid on the power worms. I've never tried wacky rigging them. I'll have to try it thanks.
4th day trying fishing haven’t caught anything yet! But today I’ll catch a trout!!! I’m determined
Did you?
Nothing stronger than 6 pound mono and if you get desperate put 2 slightly dried marshmallows above a nightcrawler on a size 6 hook. I cant count how many trout I've caught floating a worm off the bottom
Wow nice! The golden trout is beautiful
Turned this video into a drinking game....took a shot every time he said guys. I was hammered 27 seconds into it
I think that’s called alcoholic
Those first 2 fish were monsters! 🤘🤘
Cold weather trout fishing. Something ab it that I love
I've noticed the golden rainbow/ palomino seem to go more for a natural color presentation vs bright color .. I have caught a few on corn in my adventures but mostly all came on actual red worms or night crawlers or something similar
I laughed when he said pinch one off. Good vid though :)
I laughed editing it!! The things fisherman say...
At one point, I heard “pop that pink” ... ;)
Another EPIC video ! Totally enjoyed !
I’ve been told it’s odd but I throw a power worm on with hook of a kast master and trout smash it, even caught a bass this summer on it. Great video.
props on your family friendly vid and respectful of nature
Has any angler out their ever tried the power worms for Atlantic salmon ? Great video and nice fish C&R 👍🏻 tight lines
Great video . power worms are very productive . i use a them alot on my channel as well . id say top colors are orange and pink .

I’m the same way. I also watch a youtuber called fishing with rod. He does this as well.
That’s a beautiful golden Trout!! Great Videos. Subscribed
Also wanted to make a comment about that brown bait. Those usually will outfish any of the others in very clear water.
Glad I came across this video, I’ve never used them and I just got a few different colors of these as a gift
Great video, you should do it with the berkely gulp leeches though. Caught an 8 pounder last summer doing that. Hopefully get a repeat this year on film.
Superb for trout I catch loads on these in the Lake District UK. Great video.
Impressive size on those trout and some good fishing vids for sure! Keep it up man!
ya those power worms catch em everywhere ive fished. Trout, steelhead, stripers, bass on jigs ,below a bobber, Carolina rigged whatever they just work same as micetails
How much did you pay for the powerbait worms? I seen some today at my local shop. For 3.49
Thats a reasonable going rate considering they're $5 at dicks. Walmart is the cheapest if they have them at yours
These worms work great fishing ultralight gear, use a small split shot about a foot ahead of the worm. Cast and retrieve, but twitch the rod tip to give the worm a darting action. Trout will clobber it if you are doing this technique properly. Catch a big one! 🎣🤠👍
Like a dropshot or carolina?

The golden looks beautiful ❤️
Exelente amigo felicitaciones un saludo cordial desde Cuenca Ecuador
Hello..great vids Sir ! I can't find they baits anywhere...Can you send me a link for the baits ? Thank you again ! 😊
Did you wipe after pinching one off?
I use those worms on a Carolina rig with 2 power eggs. Works great!
I catch tons of trout on a trout magnet head with these worms. I use pink and green they work fantastic
its good that you take a net you get for this a like from me 👍👍😍👍
Great video. I never had any success with those but I think I'll try em again
Do you ever have to revive trout, or do they just not need it?
They are usually more sensitive than bass and need revive if they've been out of the water for long. They also tend to swallow baits whole and get the hook all the way down in their stomach, i usually keep if that happens.
The only color you have to get is Pink! I destroy the trout on them as well as bass and I've even caught carp with the pink!!!!!
Wow they hit quick on the orange fast! Would go with others than brown. I have never seen a gold trout!? Must be a specie that is in only certain parts of the US?
That golden was a state record in my state. What a monster.
Where are you from it was nice but not that big
what size line are you using?
I wanna see you try out some Freaky Frank's worms on those trout. They have about 20 different color combos.
I just bought some freaky franks from a local baitshop first time ive seen em. They work good?
Where and what name of the creek where you fishing.? If I caught one of them gold trout I would have to keep it and have it mounted no questions asked.

Yeap a couple twitches won't hurt & a slip bobber is a excellent idea
Those are some beautiful fish! I live in alberta canada and where I am trout are hard to find and if you do find them there small, sweet video man!
I worked in onoway there where a few decent ones there. They where a little muddy but fun to fish.
Great video I love challenge videos. Really peek my curiosity what's best, what really works. Before I head out to the store. Thank you.
What happened to the plastic bait? Did the fish eat em in the stomach ? How come they elimanate em
Glad I found your channel, good video, bro
Greetings, good video. Question: What are the floats used for fishing, where can they be obtained? thanks
Trout magnet brand floats. Can be found at most major salers: bass pro, cabelas, Walmart aswell as online through hundreds of sources.
Those was Hogs great job mate 👍
Nice trout, were you using a Carolina rig
I just pick up some of the bubblegum and the orange one yesterday hoping they work on the lake I live on.
I liked your respect for the fish. Nice handling and returns.
What color would you recommend to a new angler? I fish clear creeks and lakes, the creek has rocks and lake has lots of grass. The trout are stocked.
Pink!
I only fish power bait worms for trout and dolly varden here in Alaska they work ABSOLUTELY AMAZING I catch at least 10 trout every time I use them I wacky rig them with a size 8 octopus hook and let it drift down the creek naturally and they just inhale em

Carolina style or dropshot?
Great job you caught some nice trout there pal
hi where did you buy ??? thank you
They also got the chartreuse color worm too and it works really well
What type of hook is that?
You should compare Berkeley trout worm with Lelands trout worms
Take a shot every time he says guys.. youll be crawling drunk in 5 minutes !!!!
How did you know how long the leader beneath the bobber should be? Is it specific to the depth of the lake you're fishing in?
Yes the leader is specific to the location. Ideally you want your bait in the section of the water colom the fish are using most.
What rod and reel are you using ?
Wow, nice big fish!
Great video and nice trout.
Love the video it felt like i was there with u keep up the great work

Nice lightning trout!
If fishing was really that easy. How long were you guys out there.
Have you tried the mouse tails of the same colors as the worms?

I am curious what you mean by "citation fish" what state are you in? Nice looking fish.
He is in Virginia and citation is what the state calls a trophy fish
@@leeb4607 where do you think in Virginia?
He is in The New river valley. In South western Virginia. Several of his fishing spots I frequent Myself
I have success with the brown color it works good in clear water

All these fish are massive, the stock trout I fish are nothing compared to the trout that you catch!
Thanks.😃👍
Loved the video
Really entertaining video man what was that Lews you were using?
Were are you fishing
I have my best luck with the orange and natural brown colors

Dag gum that’s some good fishin. Nice job
We’re those fish recently stocked?

Good job, great fishing. Abo is safe.
Lube your knots with saliva before tightening them. It reduces friction and heat and makes your knots stronger.
