I bought a 71 in 1976 when I was 17 years old. It had Sebring plus on the side with the Road Runner 150 mph dash complete with a R/R emblem. We thought it was a R/R because of the dash, 383 big block, and a slap stick. I love that car and stored it in 1983 inside our pole barn. Seeing this 72 video makes me want to get mine back out.
We had one of these beauties. It was Petty Blue with a white canopy roof. The car was painted a shade of greyish silver on lower part of the body and it was decked out with a lot of chrome. It also had the Rallye Cluster with the 150 mph speedometer. I still really miss that car.
One of my favorite body styles ever, along w 66-67 GTO, 70 Chevelle, and 63-64 Impala. There was a 72 Roadrunner where I grew up in the 70s. Red w the full-sided white stripe and jacked up just right. Achingly beautiful.
Nice PLUS ! I had a 71 RR, 426 hemi / 4 spd in 79 to 83. Couldn't do much custom to it, but CRAGAR S/S and tires, and LOTS of fuel, oil, and plugs. Dark tint too, looks great. Always been searching for a Sebring + to build with luxury options to choose to keep or remove. Air grabber hood, pins, and 70 AAR 'Cuda rear spoiler paint to match.
The SSP that I used to have was Winchester Grey, came stock with a 400 (swapped later for a 440) black bucket seats and a Slapstick auto. I added the RR Strobe Stripe like this yellow car has. I miss that car. Probably never should have sold it….
Nice 🎶 Love this 💯 Be safe and enjoy the Cruise absolutely beautiful thank you for posting Car show or Cruise In? Hopefully you have somewhere. Probably had alot of pics taken. ✌️❤️💛💚 Definitely in mint condition 🚦😎 ;)
BEAUTIFUL SEBRING!!!!! A BUDDY OF MINE HAD ONE BACK IN THE DAY,IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL CAR!!!!! IT WAS BLK WITH BLK INTERIOR,FULL FACTORY AIR,IT HAD A CONSOLE WITH THE SLAP-STICK AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION,I DON'T REMEMBER IF IT HAD A 383 OR A 400 ENGINE.I DO KNOW THAT IT COULD GET AFTER IT!!!!!!!!
My dream car😭😭😭😭😭...oops my fault them 1971 Plymouth road runner I can imagine cruising in my purple with black stripes with chrone the seat blue and brownish gold...🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Idc them 1971 Plymouths are the best. Them old school cars are better💯
@@ao8271 No, but it was an "OK" survivor. I thought so anyway. No rust anywhere. I posted a few videos on the budget resto I did. Motor, trans, rear, interior, ect. Are u looking to buy one?
@@guidosarducci3047 im only 18 rn but im looking to buy or restore one in the future. Its my dream mopar. I only just got into mopar and we dont have much over here in the uk.
sorry that's a small block easy to tell as the distributor is in the back big block Mopar's are in the front leaning toward the drinkers side of the car
Most SSP's came with 318s. By 72 most big blocks were gone and Insurance on RR's was sky high so SSP's were produced optioned out as RR's to avoid the RR high insurance costs. This one is a 3 on the tree. Looks funny with the RR buckets but without the RR slap stick linkage in a center console; they go together. Looks like a 318, with the RR performance paint package. My 71 SSP had a 318 but with the slap stick linkage in a center console between the buckets. Yeah I know.. small bore for a 71. But if you wanted the big bores in 71, you would have just opted for RR instead.
why do people destroy the look of an old car by painting the bumpers and chrome makes it look cheap as if the chrome was pitted and they were to cheap or lazy to re chrome the parts that's my opinion
You could get those cars with elastomeric bumpers. They were body color. I suppose the factory screwed them up. Huh?😵💫 That car is NICE! YELLOW ON BLACK👍👍👍👍

What did you have to do to get that car to Hungary? Is there ways around requirements when it comes to classic cars?
Looks great - better than mine for sure.
How much did u get urs for?
@@ao8271 I picked it up for $5,000 in the spring of 2019 almost 2 years ago.

Listen to that beautiful 3/4 cam sound in that 440 big block
It's the whole cam in a small block
Small block, Stan...distributor in the REAR. Big Blocks are front, to the passenger side.
