Restorations photo montages are such great inspiration. I've had a few that started like that- like my '56 Caddy Coupe DeVille -and watching them come together with all those memories of every step of the way rushing back, there's nothin' like it. Makes each and ever cruise that much sweeter.
Carter and the Carter AFB !!! Best Performance "spread bore" made. Explosive! Fuel Enrichment full throttle climb. Economical Main Metering. Easy rebuilding, limited required adjustment, precise fine tuning control. Carter AFB Spread Bore. Largest Secondary Plates 2 1/4". Loved those days...
Hi Larry, glad to read your post! Thank You. The car is of my dear friend Antonello, from americanautoparts.it. He did the restoration job … started the restoration about 20 years ago, and finished it in 2012. It is an awesome car!
I'm obsessed with this car . And UA-cam keeps feeding that obsession with videos like this. Well done ! Fantastic restoration . Enjoy the fruits of your labor ....and thankyou for keeping these precious relics on the road .
Awesome, this is the car my Dad owned in 1962 when I was born except it was white,I don't remember Mama having her own car until they bought a brand new !964 Pontiac Catalina.Daddys' car had a hole about the size of a Kennedy half dollar in the left back floorboard and me and my 2 brothers once I was a toddler would look at the highway or dirt road go by through that hole!LOL!
Very cool to see old iron like this brought back from the dead. Top-notch dedication to the resto work. I know the Christine movie car wasn't technically a correct example, but being a fan, I'd have done a thing or two differently, obviously. The area around the rear glass and the lower quarters in the before pictures were awful. How much of the car had to be replaced?
I love love love these cars if I wasn't thirteen and had enough money I would snatch up the first one I saw (Edit) I also thought it was amazing you put what I thought looked like the golden commando 350 in it
The thing that always puzzled me is that Plymouths had to make do with the dual quad 318 wedge while the Chrysler 300 letter series cars had the mighty 392 dual quad Hemis.
You should of also add the 1962 mopars since thay are the last cars Virgil exner designed an where still part of the forward look design . I should know I have 62 Plymouth and one of my brochures called it the "Forward Flare Design!" in one of the adds. But it was the car that doomed Plymouth and never recovered. You're lucky you have a car I can only dream about. I guess l just have to settle for my Leave It To Beaver car Ha Ha ! Good job on the car, at least you didn't make it into a Christine like those other fools who think every 58 should be made into one! You can still play Arnie Cunningham in any fined Mopar Ha! Ha! "By!"
Cool car ! The image @0:35 is of the unrestored "318 A single 2 barrel" engine with unique factory air breather, Not a "318 2 Carter 4 bbl" as in the vid description. The carbs shown @2:13 ,while not original to your car, were an option in 1958 and do make the car more appealing, imo.
Thanks!! The car is of my dear friend Antonello, americanautoparts.it - The car was sold new in Milan, and was found in a field, in Milan suburbs... The car was abandoned in 1972 and belonged to a countess, then it was given to her factotum. Maybe she was modified, I don't know. I know that after 10 years of restoration, Antonello brought the car back to the original condition, in 2012.

Ever since I seen Christine when I was little I have wanted one of these cars. They are gorgeous
TEN stars restoration. What a job you did on this car! Looks like my Dad's car. When he had it new, we were the KINGS of the neighborhood.

Such a gorgeous car, and an incredible restoration! So happy to see another one saved! Well done.

Didn't think I was going to like so much of one color in the repaint, but it's pretty elegant looking now!
Awesome. So much work for such a beauty. Wow. I adore your work. Keep up the good work.
The tough 318 V8. The engine with just enough power to not be called a "Hot Rod." You can make into a Hot Rod.
Wow, She's beautiful. Great job on the restore. I'm glad you didn't make another Christine clone, these cars were very few and deserve to be original.
Beautiful
"Christine's Sister"!! Beautiful restoration!!

Monster inside and out
The 50 ‘s 60’s cars was the best cars ever produced and design by Gm Ford Chrysler . Those Dodge‘a are outstanding cars . Martin Hammond.
Dam what a fine ass car I bet it will get down ,with two fours on 318 holy smokes two thumbs man
A dream!
From a Wreck to a Dream-Car!
Thank you to show us these Video!

grrrrrrrrrrrrreat job, Sirs! The car is really beautiful! But please, let us ear its voice!🙏
Superbe restoration

I Love seeing my dream car get resurrected
My buddy has a 62 fury all original red with white top. Took all chrome and interior out years ago...just sitting there for 30+yrs
Cool, have you got some pictures of the car?
I can get some pics for u. It's a 318 w push button trans. Same guy has 64 new Yorker with 413. They are projects but solid pieces.
respect!!!
My favorite car in the world
She's a real beauty... not too big, elegant and aggressive at the same time...
Absolutely love the Christine music
That is an amazing restoration!!!!
Actually Christine was a Belvedere. This is a real deal Fury!!!
The thing that always puzzled me is that Plymouths had to make do with the dual quad 318 wedge while the Chrysler 300 letter series cars had the mighty 392 dual quad Hemis.
In 1958 for the Fury you had the big block 350 cid, in addition to the 318, dual quad too… it was not the Hemi, but it delivered 305 good ponies!
The '57 Dodge D-501 used a 354 Chrysler hemi
Thanks for not painting it red and blacking out the windows.

Ciao, si ad entrambe le cose 😊 La macchina è del mio amico Antonello, di american auto parts. Macchina stupenda, con targhe nere originali
Being that Italians are well known for Ferrari and many other high end brands; your 1958 Fury reflects said craftsmanship rather well
Fabulous
Arnie Cunningham's car.... Cristine...beautiful and big... 10 m2

Sure does look like "Christine" has seen better day's. Apparently she's lost the ability to refurbish herself 😢. ❤ the soundtrack though
Is it a 58 Belvedere with the Fury package, or a 59 Fury?
It’s a real 1958 Fury
There is no fury package either a belvidere or a fury. All fury’s were buckskin beige. If it’s anything else it’s a tribute car and not correct
Wow David Wallace 54 year 58 fury owner

Lovely
Do you know if someone have one for sale?
I don’t know anyone
@@LoveMopar thanks
👍🏻💯🇦🇺⛽️👍🏻
Isn’t that a Plymouth Belvedere ?
It’s a real Plymouth Fury, sure the base is the Belvedere…
K-chaow !!
One BAD mother
show me.
It looks like christine
This car when it is red and white it looks stupid
the '58 Fury was available in only one color combination, Buckskin Beige with Gold trim.
