Would you buy the Yamaha FZ25 over the competitive 200cc motorcycles?
Ask us questions using #AskMotorBeam
Dhanil Vira yes
Dhanil Vira #Ask motorbeam when team motorbeam come to Kerala
Dhanil Vira #Ask motorbeam launch of Pulsar SS400
I've heard a lot about the rear brake pads getting worn off in about 2000-2500 kms of use
Is it true ?
Dhanil Vira I'll Go For NS 200
Its been 18 months since I bought FZ25 after selling CL350 and have to say, the best touring companion you can get on the budget, the engine is marvelous, ultra refined and good low end torque launch the bike in air like a rocket, also as said by MB, the ergonomics are very comfortable, can cruise 300-400 kms in a single day without a sweat. Yes, there are some cons mainly headlight, could have been better illuminated, ABS could have been given, but for me its been a sweet journey till now.
Milage kitna milta hai bro?😃
Gokul G Mohan, 35 kmpl in city and 38-40 on highway.
Thanks bro😆
Himanshu Chaudhry I guess he wanted refinement.
What is the onroad cost ?
*Hooooooooondaaaa* Guy is master in finding cons of all other brands except *Hooooooooondaaaa*
Talking about cons -
1. Brakes - ABS about to be mandatory, so no problem for upcoming buyers
2. Tyres - it's a perfect city tyres, butone can upgrade to better one
3. Headlights - less effective. But aftermarket lamps can really help
4. Instrument clusters - only gear shift indicator is missing, apart from that everything is there which a rider practically needs.
Dron Krishna 6th gear?
Priyanshu Tomar bro if we try to nitpick in 250cc point of view, then cons list will be like - 6th gear, abs , dohc , power , torque , liquid cool , sleeper clutch , stronger headlight and so on ... But , can it be under 1.2 lac ex Delhi ?
why would u buy such a bike if you required aftermarket headlights bro? rather avoid buying it.
the bike should be useful rather than being useless
Rsquare Interiors right bro , but I have seen aftermarket headlights also on Dominars and REs who are considered to have the best headlights, so , are they also useless in headlights ? Is FZ25 only the bike responsible to make riders frenzy about aftermarket lights ?
balkrishan singh no dear. It's way better than FZ's headlight, there is no match at all
Editing levels drastically improved after Pratik joined MotorBeam... 👍
Sajjan Adhalrao a bit overkill & cheesy but better than before
PM7Gaming no bro.... Everyday India's editing is always good..
Sajjan Adhalrao correct
I guess powerdrift videos are like watching Hollywood movie. Expecially if Sagar Sheldekar is hosting.
The instrument cluster is also a useless one or too small I guess. I need Apache RTR 200 4V cluster and ABS in FZ25
Same thing bro
Me too bro
Its been more than an year i own one of those. The brakes never locked even in rains. You better get your riding improved bro. Its an awesome and paisa wasul bike for sure. Hats off Yamaha you really care about your customers.
I have been using FZ25 since Dec post selling my Thunderbird 350 and its been a dream! I love the fact that it's basic yet effective.. Love the looks and looks like Yamaha has now got a new name added to their fan list!!
So absolutely agree with each n every con you made. My biggest gripe is the head light. Or say lack of it.
Yamaha just gave a very nice engine mated to a basic and sub industry standard parts. ie no ABS, NO Liquid cooling no Slip n assist clutch, 5 speed gears etc.
I own a FZ16 for last 8 n half years and i will never upgrade to bike like this. It just wont be an upgrade. It would be like an engine swap. Rather, it would a downgrade as i cannot do anything about that LED lamp. Where as on my FZ16 i was able to upgrade the light.
Liquid cooling, 6th gear and optional abs would have literally sealed the deal
Dhanaraj P Get the ns200 lol
aj hitman yeah it has all the above but sadly it doesn't give the reliability as yamaha
Why do you need liquid cooling if there is no heating issue ?
Dhanaraj P Friend's ns has run 1.2 Lakh Kilometres in last 5 years. Maintain it well and it will run perfect. Im using Avenger for last 2 years and its awesome.
liquid cooling not required because it won't heat at all.. 5 gears r practical for city usage.. abs maybe good thing but stock brakes r really good
One year completed with my love
day by day my love is increasing
love you my fz25
Yes Yamaha
Proud fz25 owner❤
Aashish Krishna, yea bro it's a great bike.
Bro do u get any coin rattle sound at idle, when engine is hot?
Do you have rust exhaust pipe ?
Dude can this bike be good for touring 200-400 odd kms
@@sriramadhithya7473 I have had a sound like you said but the mechanic said nothing to afraid !! Meanwhile ,i fat up this coin rattling sound...
I own a fz25 for the past 9 months....... He is absolutely right.... He have been said all the pros and cons...... Its the best.. Vfm
I'm buying one of these tomorrow, in 'Warrior White'. I'm so excited!!!!!
The FZ25 is a genuinely good city bike the only things I miss on the bike are
- ABS (come on Yamaha)
- Hazard light Switch
- 6th gear
I'm having one which has done almost 8000 kms and I'm very happy with the performance. Lack ok ABS and the headlights seem to be my main concerns. Also used to feel the lack of sixth gear initially but now I think I'm kind of used to it..
Agreed on all points. I use mine to commute to work everyday for 42km per side. It feels really comfortable and because of really good fuel efficiency its less expensive for daily use. Lights are really bad. It just does not scatter. It's hard to go through a new road without knowing what's coming your way. Can't see potholes from a distance too.
It's been 7 months since I got my fz25.. It's is very practical for day to day usage in bangalore traffic as well as doing weekend rides of 400+kms no issues..
vivek h mileage kitna de raha he
Sitaprabha Sahoo city traffic me 30-32 and highway pe 38
Nice explanation sir
i own one and i agree with everything you said, though I'd like to add that it is a very goof touring machine. You can cruise at 110-115kmph with ease and the bike won't even sweat for like 300-400kms. It can do more obviously but that's the maximum i have driven continuously. if someone wants to tour rather than racing and stuff I'd suggest them to go for this one rather than the r15. peace!
What do you think about Fazer FI as far as touring is concern?
@@thewonderer9551 its the same but looks weird.
Nice video 👌👍
Fz25 owner right here 💙💙💙💙💙
Do you have rust exhaust pipe ?
I am very happy with the bike's performance in 2021 BS6 model ❤️❤️
Can we increase the power of Led head lamp by replacing it with after market, more powerful leds
It's a good bike. Have been riding in Mumbai potholes in rains and no complaints so far. Basic is what you need to survive in tough conditions. Will agree with the feedback on tyres but till the change can't compare. It's good to see the attention the bike deserves but that is just the opposite I bought it for. :-)
Without a doubt.... Yamaha and its engine.
Already ridden fzs-fi (150) and saluto for over a year
I really love this bike, I almost bought it, but there came the Rockstar R15 V3 and won my heart.
Please make a video TVs Apache rtr 2OO abs model
Very usefull
I am owning the fz25 for the past 5 months...low end torque is so awesome....it is so fun to ride in the city as well as in the highways....needs to be added in the upcoming versions..1.ABS 2.instrument cluster..3.slipperclutch..4.6th gear... otherwise it will be the best bike for touring and for daily ride in this 250cc segment..anyway the engine of fz25 is so refined and smooth...
Wait for it.. I am going to buy this bike
Is it wise to wait till 2019 for abs version ?Will they launch abs for sure by then
Fzsfi v 2.0 or gixxer or hornet
Which one the best deal with mileage, comfert, smoothness for long time
I have already covered 1300 km in my FZ still AVG is 26 kmpl. Any suggestions on how to improve it??
hi frd
which one is better bike? fz25 or apache 200 4v race edi.2.0
Love u moterbeam 😍😍
Suggest the best engine oil and headlight solution pls
awesome
How come the front side part of the silencer got so much rust?
My FZ v1(2012) doesn't have this much rust. I never changed mine till date
its not a rust, it looks like that but not a rust
Where can we get better headlights in Gurgaon for fz25. I am facing terrible issues under low lighting.
❤️Fz25
Very good review , it is the most affordable 250cc, best quality and performance
Bhai fz25 vs R15 v3 koun si best bike he our fz25 ka mailege ky he in plizzzzz reply plizzzzz 🙏
I have been using my Fz25 from past 2 months and i must say Yamaha did a marvellous job offering this bike in this price bracket . All bikes have cons and this bike is not an exception , Rather i would say this bike has more pros than its cons ;) . Those who want city as well as weekend touring with good average (~35 kmpl ) and pocket friendly maintenance can go with this bike . This bike has ample amount of power to make you happy on roads. :)
Safe riding and enjoy your journey ;)
Bro when is FZ25 next generation bikes are coming some says it's 2019 is it correct?
Which will be the best Tyre combo for the fz25 (front and back) and how to improve it's breaking performance...??? #askmotorbeam
One of my favourite
Pls review new 2019 version, duel channel ABS
Yes i have a fz25 and it also lacks of the 6th gear
Do more videos like this bro
Could you pls compare tvs 160 4v with Xtreme 200R ??
Should I buy this over r15 v3
Pl do a fz 2.0 pros and cons review
How much engine oil units is used into the bike
I love this bike.. Would u buy a ktm rc200 and lots of vibrations.. Or the yamaha fz25 for lesser price and.. Almost no vibration, u people are smart enough
vairagya singh And also rc200 has heating issues, but FZ25 doesn't overheat even with air cooled+oil cooler tubes setup.
msdavino the rc 200 has a higher powered engine and such engines do heat up jinka compression ration bhi jyada hai.
Rsquare Interiors ues, thats wht I said. rc200 engine heats up a lot(of course due to compression ratio) compared to fz25.
Even though rc has more bhp.. But a fz25 can easily beat the hell out of a rc 200.. Please dont feel offended ktm lovers 😊🤘peace
balkrishan singh okay i agree with u bro.. They should have given an optional abs
Please do a review of Gixxer 2018 abs version
Bro i have changed the exhaust to a black market sc project.. You thoughts #AskMotorBeam
Add something at the end you used to do even on pros and cons videos
Headlight illumination s valid point.. but I won't agree with other cons..
After 10000km , I can say only one con.
the missing sixth gear , this bike is simply fantastic and economical 😎
A too basic bike is a good option for the long term. There are lesser things that will break. So also more savings. Complex systems cost more to repair and replace
Japanese have nailed it again. Perfect bike for my requirements. No need for liquid cooling for a torque tourer. Its stupid. Instead they have increased the millage which shows superior japanese IQ to understand the market and customer's need. ABS rolled out already. Just a bit better dash and head light and this bike is almost perfect.
Which one should I go fz25 or rtr200 race edition (feature loaded) so confused..
rahul billa ping me on whatsapp 9410554559. let's talk.
Nice
Between fz25 and RTR 200 which one to buy ????? Pls guys I am banging my head for weeks 🤕
Honda hornet 160 R abs version please review it
What about the rust in the exhaust bro..?
Can someone tell me what is the service cost and service interval of fz25? #AskMotorBeam
Pls do the pros and cons of dominar 400
But still one of the best vfm bikes out there...
Lol
rabi deva how??
forgot the Apache 200??
Rsquare Interiors. But it is too slow compared to fz25
Gokul Gopinath the FZ 25 is no faster than NS 200
But it still looks hot 🔥🔥 and powerful
2 more cons wud b
1. The rustin on the exhaust.
2. The poor digital meter console.
editing standards are really high || Congratulations ||
what is the average of the bike ??
please help me
Do the same review from the beast r15v3 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Is it comfortable for 5.2 feet guy
Please do a pro and con video for Apache 200 4V Race Addition #AskMotorBeam
I own a FZ25, n have driven 10K+ kms, whatever pros and cons he mentioned are to the point and true, but coming to tyres and headlight issue, we can anytime get them changed.
(cheers)
I own an FZ25 too but for some reason I dont get more than 30 Mileage, i haven't completed 500kms yet, its just been a month after purchase.
Will the mileage increase after the first service ?
@@thegoldenraptorThere is a difference after first service, but that is not very considerable (hardly 2 or 3 kmpl increase)
See, I'm constantly getting 36-38 kmpl in Pune city(Hinjewadi) and on highways it goes up till 40.5kmpl, but I strictly follow below things;
Please note, it's a quiet powerful machine, and can our handle our sudden acceleration and deceleration very well, but on the contrary I would suggest you to gradually increase/decrease speed and try to keep ur engine in higher gears.
Next thing I would advice you to keep a check of your tyre pressure, *I keep 30ps in front and 32ps in rear tyre at all times, except for rains.
Every bike has an ideal driving speed, for fz25 it's somewhere in between 65-80kmph, below this speed, bike's average just keeps falling.
Let me know, if you want to know anything else!
(cheers)
@@SatyamTyagi_ Thank You so Much , I'll let you know if I have any further queries 😊
Did you notice coin rattle sound?
Sir me soch rha hu isko lene ki mere pas version 2.0h abhi
Being an FZ25 owner for last one year with 19000+ KM.... I would rather say.... What it lacks is just a 6th cog and nothing else... Which would have given it a better touring speed....! Other than that... I've ridden several pulsars (RS200, NS200, 220F, NS160, 200) which aren't even near to driving ergonomics of Yamaha...Engine is reliable as well with not that typical Pulsar "chik-chik sound" i.e. valve clearence/timing chain slack sound due to overheating, No chain sound, No vibrations, No jerky stiff shocks with monthly oil leaks, Worse build and paint quality, etc. A better top end is what it misses and that is thoroughly O.K. because it's not a rev screamer...'cause that is handled by MT15 😉 It's a tourer cum power commuter... that's what it is in Yamaha Portfolio.... You want speed ? Go talk to MT-15, R15 or maybe R3 along with their respective Competitors. 🏍✨
the bike has good features for the price tag it has. However another cons would be small instrument console.
Tyres are good. Even in rainy season it works well.
how r breaks work properly
I hve fz25 since 1yr. I hve completed 29000km. I m facing the issues like there is a noise in engine of cluth assembly, camshaft and rocker. Is anyone facing this kind of issue..
Bro u didnt mention the suspension as a con. And the top speed also. It hits only 135ks max which any 200 cc can do
Yes! Yamaha!
We need this episode featuring Pulsar NS200?? Can you do it MB?
surya kumar sure.
Fz 250cc new best tyres comets pls
I own it..my bae Fz25 is 21 days old...i luv my bae 😍👌❤️❤️
Why the video has so many effects? Keep it simple guys, the jazz up is too much!
Can we install dual channel abs in fz25 2k18 model #ASKMOTORBEAM
Vva and slipper clutch to add
Rust ? Please answer
bro review Gixxer SF pros and cons ........
Bro no red colour option ..
25000kms in 11 months. No major maintenance cost except changed the chain sprocket. Mileage in excess of 40 kmpl always. Works well for Office commute and Occasional highway rides.
Would like ABS and better headlights in the next version of FZ25.
Jeetul Bhansingh Are you serious abt mileage...
pls. reply. i m thinking about it.
sameer lanjekar yes the mileage is true. My MID varies from 42-44. So if you take variation into account it will still be 40kmpl.
Tahnks brother
Fz25 abs kab ayega india me pls boliye
Can someone plzz tell some real news on Royal Enfield Intercepter's arrival...? #AskMotorBeam
Fz25 m abs kab tak launch hoga
That said, the comfort level for the rider changes drastically with a pillion on board and that's where the RE Classic shines ! Second issue is of the engine heating..If you ride for a fair time or distance i.e say more than 75 km, you will start to feel the heat around your legs. Third is like everyone says about the FZ25, the Headlight problem.
If you can handle the above, Is there a better bike at this price point? Nope.
