Owning this bike for a year now... I have the same reasons as you've mentioned. I'd say that this bike gives you both depending on how you ride it... The acceleration and flickablility of a KTM DUKE on insane riding/ripping or the mileage of a 150cc when you ride it sanely....💯
Light is not powerful so i have added aux lights and now it is looking more sexy as i have addes aux with the front headlight and yes of you do not do lot of highway riding at night and do mostly in city then light is very good and it looks so damm good if you compare with other bikes with same 200cc segment
Between rtr200 abs and slipper clutch and fz25, i wld go for rtr at this point of time! But if yamaha launches fz25 with abs and slipper clutch, then without a shadow of doubt, i wld go for yamaha!

Yea I accept all the reasons I've fzs v3 which is 150cc and all reasons u mentioned are same for this fzs also, best looks, best in class milege and a pocket friendly bike I'm happy with my fzs even I've single channel Abs
That's a good question. Someone talented enough could probably make it work. But its not recommended as u will spend alot of money for a hit or miss mod that may or may not function reliably

Lukhman Pambra tvs offer abs with carburettor and fi is a separate version....there are 3 bikes in 250 segment...only honda cbr250 gives dual channel abs....but not anymore...april 2019 all 125 cc or above will get abs compulsory...thanks to govt.👍🏻
Own it for almost 5 months, no problems so far and i am damn happy with it, i used to have a apache 160 before and maintaining it and everything was so damn high, even being a 250 cc bike fz is a lot better, it don't weight much on your pocket.

This is not only "one of the best 250cc bike"infact its THE BEST BIKE in 250cc segment...and bro its YAMAHA....its has got special feel...one feel the pride while owning a FZ25 or any other yamaha bikes...I M the greatest fan of yamaha bikes especially the FZ series...once I also owned a fz 16..which was amazing..the fz25 has got best pickup...and the drag is just thrilling...and for headlight...go for a HID lamps..they are well suited with this bike...earlier I had installed in my fz 16...and believe me it really changed the expirience...and enhanced the looks of this bike at night as well
This bike would be perfect if it had 25/26 ps of power and 21nm torque with a bigger headlight and a more informative LED instrument cluster with features like average fuel consumption , gear shift indicator and service reminder.
MOTOGENESIS Brother you got a Raw deal . You got tricked just like everyone else . The Brazilian FZ25 gets slightly more power and torque and ABS too as an option . As a matter of fact the FZ25 and Fzs FI are going to get Slightly more power and torque with ABS as standard from 2019 onwards . So I would say you should have waited for a while before jumping on to this rather than that . Anyways Yamaha wouldn't give a damn about giving us ABS even as a option if Indian govt hadn't pressed hard on Safety norms
I agree with the government part. Yamaha is dumb like that. But I had to get a bike when I did and this was the best vfm product out there. Idk ABT the Brazilian fz25s cost but it's sure will be more that the Indian one. Oil filter is same as the R15.
Handlebar, front disk pads, forks, chassis same.as the fz16
The no 1 reason should be the low end torque. design is subjective. mileage is not a primary criteria. it would either be power, torque, handling etc

I don't like it's headlight. Apart from that overall it's a nice bike. Very comfortable, nice pick up, best in class fuel average and handling.
Hornet 160r 2018 (LED headlight+ CBS&ABS dlx) model looks far better than Fzs v2.0 and Fz25 too!

Prem Indian are bhai bhai bhai. These were 10 reasons why I bought the bike. I don't need to walk around the bike for that. If u haven't seen the bike itself this video is useless. The whole basis of this video is that u know something about the bike. And if u have a problem please do explain it. I love constructive criticism. I highly recommend avoidig the use of foul gutter language and being a little civilised about it next time
