@@AvishkarBPatil doesn’t take away the fact that it’s an amazing bike! It’s not always about power, it’s also ride and handling. FZ does that amazingly well in the city.
Power is not an imp practicality is more in fz v1
Bro did you face any carburettor issues? Many people had with stock one and they replace with pulsar 180s

@@prema428 bhai i am a apache user i can tell u one thing go for fz because the problem i am currently facing is that gear shifts are not so smooth but was shifting smoothly when it was new engine se ek harsh awaaz atha hai wo aapko khud mesoos hoga agar aap kise 1-2kms roung marke aoge toh and mileage is not good at all mera 2 service ho chuke hai fir bhi 30-32 max de rha hai and bike bahut bhaari bhi hai compare to fz u better go for fz

@@prema428 The best thing of FZS25 is the way the weight is distributed, it feels better than even the current R15( only based on weight distribution). And the low and midrange torque is the main oomph.. The only con l find is the gear shift is slick but its hard. Moreover mileage is always 38 to 42 km/pl under mixed riding
@@anirbandasgupta2009 yes buddy. The 6th gear is missed alot. Not sure whether Yamaha might provide the same in next generation FZ.
Bought my fzs fi v2.0 cyber green colour in september 2014.. It may look underpowered on paper, but trust me in real life it is a fun bike to ride. Have done so many trips with it and never got disappointed. The power to weight ratio is pretty good as it's a light motorcycle. And honestly the engine is a gem. I have maintained it properly and it still runs like a new bike with zero problems. I also have a R15 v2 but the fz engine is smoother.
How much average your getting?
@@sebastian_manuells depends on where I ride it. In my locality it's very busy traffic, so I get between 40 to 45 kmpl (depends on various situations). But in highways if I maintain the speed around 80 kph, it returns an average of around 50kmpl
@@Dr.StudRider007 I'm also driving a ver 2.0 (non S) since 2016. I'm getting about 55 in city & 62 in highway. Maybe it's because I'm from a tier 2 city with lesser traffic.

I own a FZ V3 and for that past 1.5 years I've got no issues and problem, it is such a nice motorcycle. Only discomfort I feel is the little harder rear suspension.
My Fz is still running very smoothly. Bought in 2013 amazing engine.
Owned FZ16 153CC in the year 2016 and still it's running smooth and excellent

The FZ-25 v1 looked so good. I didn't quite like the headlamp of the v2. Hope they make some cool changes in the future versions without increasing the price too much.

Proud owner of Yamaha Fazer V2.0. Good touring machine. Love the twin headlamps. Good mileage and superb comfort for rider and pillion. Wish Yamaha could launch Fazer series with twin headlamps with all led lights.
I own a fz v1 clocked more than 80k km, and after all the abuse for 8years it stills beats modern 150cc bikes easily....and reliability of engine is unbeatable

Thanks for feeding the fanboy in me- great video. I own a 2013 FZ-S, "Fiery-Orange" one. I don' race, wheelie, or any other cool stuff. But I just enjoy being the rider of FZ - can never get enough of the hum of the engine in slow speeds/low rpms on empty village roads!

I own a 2012 FZs.. amazing one.. then came the long waited Fz25.. in 2017 immediately bought that.. but my usage pattern of riding bikes reduced.. guess what I sold the fz25.. and I’m still happy with my well maintained 2012 FZs.. still gives me a big smile whenever I start.. I don’t even have the heart to try any other bike.. I believe this is going to be my lifetime bike.. and I’m so happy😊😊

I have a fzs v1 bought in jan 2012. Completed 51000 km and it's still going strong. Roughly I ride 60km (since corona virus came into the picture) each day but i dont feel any stress whatsover. Very happy with the performance

I won a fzs v3 dark knight 2020 edition . In 2 years I used it as commuter, tourer for long drives (450 kms/day) and adventure as well. I climbed at hills with those flat radial tyres. Trust me this is the best 150cc muscle commuter in Indian market

I bought the FZ16 in 2012.
I still own it.
The bike hasn't shown major concerns. Great engine, great design, great maneuverability.
The True-Blue Street-Naked of it's time 💙🔥 This product was the one that revived the Yamaha Brand in India 🙌🏼
The 1st gen FZ/FZ-16/FZS was true muscular.
It had that grunt in it the torque master what a great drag it offered on acceleration.
The fat tyre changed the trend and the huge tank just added the perfect head turner element, I mean it had driven crazy ever since its launch
I too use to own Fazer 25, i felt it was amazing bike.. had to sell it as recently we got a car and the family expanded, else I would had love to continue with the bike.
Won't be surprised if near future Yamaha launch FZ version 4.0 with power output of 9-10 ps.
FZ V2 and FZ25 V1 were amazing at looking good!

Yamaha is my school time love .. when i heard 2 stroke engine sound.. wow still i have yamaha fz16. my journey with yamaha 22 year my 1st bike was yamaha rx 135 5speed. Lots of sweet memory i have done. Trust mee most trustable engine
From bajaj XCD 135, I switched to FZ16 and then to the dual tone (Red and Gray) FZS. Now I'm the proud owner of FZS 25 since the last two months. I love it with all its knuckle guards, golden alloys and a color that's very different, Patina Green!

I had the first generation FZ16 right from the day it was launched. I used it for my daily commute and for rides. And in 2018 I switched to FZ25.
I just love both bikes. Both are awesome in their own ways.

Own the FZ first gen, Full black. The bike which made me feel Yamaha is something special.
In 2013 or 14.... The FZ, FZ-S, Fazer got a small update : the headlight shape (the external plastic coverings) on the FZ, and new grab handles for all the 3 bikes. And the Fazer had a red coloured monoshock.
Wherever I saw Fazer or FZ on the street standing I used to stop nd see that enticing tyre especially in my childhood nd it was a dream to have one Fazer or FZ after 10th

Jab me 8th me tha tb maine 1st time Fz dekha tha.. tb naam bhi ni pata chalta tha splendor bhi badi bike lagti to fz to alag hi level ka laga tha.. me apne papa k sath luna pr betha tha or wo fz wala baju me aake brake mara and i was like 😍😍 kya bike hai ek din lunga me aisi.. or phir time aage badha me college k 2nd year me tha 2015 me first bike buy krne gaya wo bhi PULSAR 150 but achanak se ye fz dikha and maine at a time 92600 deke kharid liya.. jab ghar leke aaya tb yaad aaya k school time me yahi bike dekha tha maine mote tyre wala😅.. tb yaqeen hua mujhe aap jo socho wo life me kabhi na kabhi milta jaroor hai kaise bhi karke apne aap.. and after fz maine R15 dekha😂 or hamesa sochta k kabhi aise aggressive riding position wali bike chalaunga or 2019 me R15v3 bhi kharid li😅 or ab me ZX10R or S1000RR k bare me sochta hu dekhte hai kb aati hai😁

However, you missed that FZ/FZ-S BS6 2020 (12.4 PS, 13.6 NM) and FZ/FZ-S BS6 2021 (12.2 PS, 13.4 NM) stay quite similar in looks but the 2021 version is an utter disappointment when actually driven on-road with re-mapped ECU and the modified exhaust note. I own a 2020 version and my friend owns a 2021 version.

I still remember when Yamaha launched fz at 2008, it really is a game changer since, that is the first time we have seen a good looking streetbike here in North East India, with monoshock, rear big tyre, good looking averall, teenagers getting crazy, it really is a game changer here in our state, R15 was also a game changer but to be honest it was a bit expensive for average person here , everyone race for Fz....

I got my Fz 16 in 2010 and i still ride that beast every single day it still have that power to go 0-60 in 6 secs and 0-100 in 9 secs.

my father bought me my Fz 2.0 in 2018, and the bike is completely amazing, looks are great, speed is just amazing. the leaning on the curves gives a wonderful feeling , highways or streets it stands always number one.
even it still gives the same feeling like the first day I picked it up from showroom.
I am disappointed with the V3.0 and that Fz-X. but okay lets hope for some thing big and amazing, hale Yamaha.

My cousin big brother used to own fz 2010 gen model and i bought it from him in 2017.. Serviced it and now doing city commute and touring every now.. Performance is good and economy is still better than other 150 cc and scootys and handling is nimble .. Still fresh and as new.. I am loving it more than ever.. I will keep it with me forever..

Now waiting for FZ 35, they should have launch this with bare minimum specs like it's young siblings but must have similar characteristics i.e strong low end m mid range punch which is very unlikely to see in its competitors. Air cooled engine, 5speed gearbox, 4valve and low compression ratio with a very broad torque curve would be great for commuting as well as highway cruising.
And with this simple engine configuration,the cost would be affordable too.
I would love to have Fz35 as Adventure catagory,it will smash the market if it ever launches
