Headlight is not that great. It's better to have auxiliary lights for highways
DeepInsane I have riden 9.5k kms and have seen no rusting
I tried both R15 n FZ25 for long rides with a pillion, back pains and discomfort on R15 helped us to narrow down FZ25 without any fuss.
My thought is, Style should be a consideration but not over comfort and practicality.

I want you to consider ur preferences, like:
1) Do you like to do long rides on bike(fz25 👍)
2) Are you more likely to be with a pillion at all times(fz25👍)
3) Sheer Power in lower gears(fz25👍)
4) If your preference is more towards a premium product + styling(R15👍)
4) Fuel economy centric(R15👍)
5) Bike control and agility (R15👍)
**Lack of 6th gear is compensated in Fz25 by providing tall gears, whereas R15 gets it in the box.
So at the end, just see what is most important to you.

satyam tyagi First of all Thanks for you. As a beginner I thought it would be much safer to start with the R15 v3 Since I won’t do any long rides in it also mostly there won’t be a pillion on board. But I will use it for 25 kms daily commutes. So the body aches thing is my main concern and I also don’t know Fz25’s acceleration is manageable for a beginner or not. Yes, a test ride will tell but my judgement may be wrong from a small test ride because I may be able to manage it’s power after few days of ride don’t know it for sure. Also I will buy only after the launch of ABS models. So I want to clear my two doubts from others experience that why asking you.

Fz25 needs 4 valve liquid+oil cooled engine and 6 speed gearbox so it can beat them all
Than the price ....
Then it won't be torquey enough and entire FZ series (FZ25 to FZ1) is all about torque and not just outright performance.

I own an R15 and I absolutely love it. I'm a beginner and I did not took more than a minute to ride it because of the slip n assist clutch. I got my bike 2 days ago and really enjoy the sound of it and the road presence is amazing. I get many questions from people about it. And the mileage is amazing too. I'm getting between 40-45 kmpl. And the speedometer is very good and legible. And I always smile when I see it because it looks stunning. But the waiting period is very long. I had to wait for a month. But it's all worth it. The riding position is uncomfortable and after 15-20 mins my lower back starts to pain and even my hand starts paining. But if you are a real biker and you ride your bike for fun, buy this bike. FZ25 is good. But a real biker like Faisal who took his Duke 390 for touring, close your eyes and get the R15.

Own a FZ25 MotoGP edition. The looks and styling makes you stand out. The bike is perfect suited for cruising in city and touring on highways. No issues of any pain for a rider around 6ft tall.. the average is decent around 35kpl. No problem with brakes with ABS version and better bite it 2019 models. The gears are short and half step but you get used to the setup. The lack of 6th gear is felt on highway cruising. But still no need as driving on highway at 100-110kph is just little pull on throttle. The R15 V3 is also now limited to 136 kph just like fz25.

People also choose r15s. Over r15v3 coz of pillion seat comfort.

@@subin3189 R15 v3 when it come to speed it doesn't have limit it can go upto 153kmph....where as FZ25 it won't go much...as R15 V3 was made for sport type so it can be use for racing..

Thats why i love my hoooonnnnda, Its the best of both worlds, Can do track, is practical ,comfortable over long distances, decent top end and of course liquid cooling :)

Comfort and initial punch is great.
I am from Nepal and i am riding fz25 for a year.. Because of geographical conditions and roads we have to get on offroad here but I am satisfied with my yamaha fz25.. Street plus offroad King. We can't get that comfort on a sports body bike..
Just a suggestion, before the review kindly ensure you have clean bikes....so that people can have a good look at the machine themselves

When you spend ur hard earned money ofcourse COMFORT is the no.1 priority in this tough world,so fz25 is the clear winner for me!
Where most manufacturers just add different panels, fuel tank and riding posture and market basically the same bike as two different models, Kudos to Yamaha for bringing two completely different bikes from ground up at the same price point.

Yamaha FZ25 is a very pratical bike for a daily user. Yes it doesn't have 6th gear, but for daily commuting specially in city you won't feel the absence of it. It has tremendous power to weight ratio. I mean, for instance, you can easily overtake a bus or truck speeding 80 kmph. No big deal. I think that's enough power. Added to it, it has an average of 35-38 kmpl in city, and above 42 kmpl in highway if you ride under 80kmph. I ride around 30-35 kms.
Buying an fz25 because I was tired of waiting for fi apache 200 was the best decision I ever made.

Definetely r15 v3 ... The real king.. Its a bike with controversial characteristics it has the performance like a super bike and mileage like a splendor... 60kmpl at 80kmph cruising.. Best ever hardware, based on the tank plastics its build quality cant be determined , tank plastics are just to cover the actual fuel tank inside and to provide aggressive looks , easily replaceable , rather in v2 have to spend 10k to replace tank incase of a crash ... considering fz25 born from the same mother also a good choice... But r15 v3 is definitely the beast👌 ....

I was more likely for superbike model coz I owned one R15 V2 2013, I just loved it.. I sold it and launched FZ250 April 2017 and still.. Am getting more into Fz25 coz its so much economy, more power, more naked street and more comfort which I preferred. It a good tourer even with no back pain.. And I received an milage of 40kmpl.

Yamaha r15 v3 and fz just got the award for best in quality based on a survey by J. D. Power. It's high time to stop defaming the brand which always stood for it's quality and performance. Stop being biased to particular brands, many people follow you.
A 250 cc bike which is much better is cheaper while a 150 cc bike is expensive for no reason

dont buy fz25 cause it dont have that much power compared to its 250 cc engine see for duke 200
FZ25 beats Duke 200 in acceleration. FZ has got amazing torque. FZ25 is more comfortable than Duke as well. Also, cheaper to buy and cheaper to maintain. Mileage is better as well. Only advantage Duke has is the 6th gear. also, if you're over 5'11, you will find the Duke very very small and uncomfortable.
Hi from Bangladesh, I rode both v3 and cbr150. Both are excellent, but with Honda, there's that sensation that is undescribable.
A pretty good video but I wish you out the specs of the bike in top corner because when I try to pause the video to read them I can't because the title is all over them in bottom left corner, so it would be nice if you put them in the top corner and leave them a bit longer so we have chance to read them while still listening to you.
And another thing try to speak a bit slower please because you are trying to put as much info as you can but it becomes hard to absorb when you speaking fast.

U wont get the 6th gear. The FZ 25 was meant for ample low end torque. A 6th gear will make it more like a CBR.
This is not the motorbeam style.. Disappointed... I was waiting for another bike to come.
