Isotoner Leather Gloves- Gorgeous animation of the hands at the beginning of this commercial. Sunny Delight- For all that the kid dealt with throughout his day in this commercial, he deserves better than a Sunny Delight, which is essentially just colored sugar water.
7:14 - It’s depressing I know, but whenever I see an old commercial with cute animals, I can’t help but think they’re all gone by now. I can only hope that they had great lives from their owners or trainers.
Funny that this group includes a Rudolph's Shiny New Year promo. A little under two weeks ago I uploaded the lone commercial block from a recording of that special from WNYW that I got from eBay.
No joke about that Ritz Thrift Shop ad - even when the ad was modernized in the 90s you could never forget that ad from the 70s! WNYW seemed to show it more than any other station in New York at the time.
Holy heck, here I was thinking I'd seen all my childhood toy commercials on this channel, and then the Nerfuls light up some new synapses. The Twix commercial too.
Baby Talk…Seriously, was there a contest between toy companies over who could make a more nightmare inducing talking doll? No wonder there was a slasher film made about them…
I remember so well, I was about eight when this commercial aired, relating to the poor Sunny Delight kid. As an adult watching this now I find it a little insulting that his problems can be alleviated, even slightly, by this crummy drink, which we did indeed have in our fridge at the time.
These Isotoner gloves commercials really stand out to me … I think one year around this time I spent my allowance to buy my grandma a pair of their gloves.
Those Crabtree commercials freak me out. I believe the lady who pronounces "Nissan" weirdly was involved in a murder/suicide type thing after the male Crabtree passed away young.

Crazy Eddie never disappoints

I'm sure they all had long, wonderful lives. ❤

I remember that 7UP commercial. I was 7.
2:13 - The woman must be hearing about her friend’s date with Weird Al Yankovic…

That twix is huge!!!
Another candy bar that has been the victim of downsizing, they are definitely smaller today.
Crazy Eddie!
Oh Lord to be a baby again 😂
