Now, this is AMMMERRRICA !!!!! Boys and girls, this is how we got it done before and we will get it done again. By the sweat of our brow and making quality goods.
Those “Ag” trailers for us here in Canada are used mostly for custom combining crews. They haul dual wheeled combines or 300HP+ tractors/Quadtracs/4tracs with grain cart all over the wheat belt from Texas right up to central Saskatchewan/Alberta. Most custom crews usually run a minimum of 3 combines, plus tractor and grain cart, plus Draper headers, plus pick up headers if they get into canola, which is something that’s mostly grown up here as we don’t grow a lot of corn on the prairies. Canola, lentils, canary seed pay way better plus the yields are so much better.
We can run 10' wide trailers in western canada with just the over width permit 24/7 and it really sucks loading a feller buncher on a 8.5' trailer with outriggers and breaking said outriggers off.
Not a trucker, but a mechanic. Seeing the amount of labor going into those makes me wonder just how long it takes to make these. Truly impressive. Jason is awesome. The man knows everything there is to know about those trailers. He has more passion and knowledge than some of the guys who represent in my company.
The guy was a fountain of knowledge. Great to see people who take pride in their work and know all the aspects of the manufacture procedure . A+ for Globe.
Made in the good ole USA! That’s best part about all of this, see so many different nationalities working ass off doing same thing. Love it, you can tell they put all of time, and effort and high quality product!
These trailers look great & extra heavy duty. These guys have their stuff well put together. The vibe & interactions amongst the team makes for a great work environment & you can tell they take pride in their craft, these guys are making a work of art from a trailer
Globe not only make tough and functional trailers, but they’re beautiful. Hatermade 379’s trailer really made me start looking at these. Work em all week, wash em, put em in a truck show right after
Made in USA...Sweet trailer! So great to see these young people continuing a long lost art...Very sharp young people and a well run shop...Good health, happiness and success to you all!
I was hoping to run into to you at Globe..I bring a majority of their steel to them, and just delivered there just a couple of hours before you got there. Really good guys there, they really do know their stuff, I have been delivering there for going on 7 years now...I ordered my hat and shirt a few days ago from your website and received it yesterday, nice quality thanx Bruce!!
Bruce this is a fantastic video ,this company is what I always think America is small business total customer focus and a quality product, that guy,s knowledge of his product is a man proud of his job.And you Bruce could make this type of video on many different small companies ,maybe a new business for you!!!!! Give it some thought mate it's a winner again one of the best video,s you have done well done Kym Adelaide
Back in 2008 the municipality that I was employed with, we received our first Globe 50-ton detachable gooseneck low-boy trailer that’s almost exactly like the grey trailer featured in the video. An independent heavy equipment contractor submitted a bid and won the bid. I’ve been retired since 2011, and currently it’s still in use on a daily operation. The only minor problems occurred was the auxiliary motor that powers the gooseneck other than that it’s a solidly built low-boy trailer. 💯👍🤙🏽
MADE AND STAYED IN THE U.S.A. JASON IS THE MAN CONGRATES JASON ON UR PRODUCT KNOWLEGE AS WELL AS STATE LAWS AND TRAILER SPECS A REAL ASSET TO GLOBE TRAILERS AND THE HAULING INDUSTRY AS A HOLE!!!!!! THATS WAT A MAN WHO TAKES PRIDE IN HIS CRAFT SOUNDS LIKE BRAVO MAN BRAVO
Seems like quality heavy duty trailers and the guy giving the tour definitely knows his business I don't think you need to ask anyone else what you need other than him.
Jason is incredible! That man knows everything about his craft without any doubt. Super to see such incredible knowledge and proud of their Made in America craftsmanship!
Hey Bruce, the real question how big and heavy do you want to haul??? I'm a heavy haul driver that's done 2-2-2, 2-3-2 , 3-3-3 , 3-4-3, 4-3-4.. Ya see when it comes to heavy haul Go big or go home!! Which means not the load on the trailer, but instead the equipment you will need to haul that load.. for the little bit of equipment you might think about wanting to haul, I would honestly recommend a 30ft belly, 3 axle, disc brakes, outriggers, flip neck, LED lights and strobes on 3 sides, center storage area for dunnage, extra chains and binders, etc,.. A center lift and rear lift axle , why you ask 1) you're in Florida 2) having 2 axles that can lift will save you money in fuel and maintenance 3) it gives you options for weight distribution I can personally tell you that Globe Trailers are heavy but again they're built very well.. And surprisingly they actually ride somewhat smooth.. Good luck with your new trailer
Apatong is definitely worth the extra money by far, have a 50 ton Fontaine with a apatong deck and it’s 20 years old. Replaced 3 boards in those 20 years.
I really enjoyed the tour of Globe Trailers. I am an engineering contractor now retired, so back in 1995 - 2002 I worked at P&H mining now It's Komatsu in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Back then I worked on the hydraulic excavator dippers, aka bucket, these dippers used plates 1.50 to 3.00 inch thick and the welding symbols, it's like trying to learn the Arabic language. The excavator frames were 10 times the size of Globe Trailers. I and several other designers and drafter were hired to complete the redesign of the 9020-dragline machine that went to Australia. It was quite a working and learning experience.
Jason gave a great tour and really showed his passion for the company. I couldn’t help but wonder if he was prior Air Force. His belt looks just like a dress blues belt for the AF. Great guy, making great trailers.
I used to work in a couple trailer shop’s when I was a apprentice welder. We were only allowed 1 stop/start on the outside rail . Long way to go without stopping the weld. That’s quite the outfit actually, looks good all in house to .
WOW that brought back memories when I used to work for Atlas Copco Wagner Mining Equipment Co. manufacturing Plant in Portland, Oregon. I could hit the floor running in that shop. Nothing like working in the blaster and the grind shed, working the burning tables and final assembly.
They build some bad ass trailers. That’s for sure! The stretching is a Cool feature, the video was awesome so much useful information being able to walk-through the entire process helps the customer make and easy decisions. I would actually feel good about paying and feeling secure about it. Everything in house handmade good old-fashioned hard work craftsmanship keep doing what you’re doing!!!
Really cool tour literally a "One Stop Shop" in the way they can basically build whatever the customer desires. I don't think I heard the tour guide say no to any question you asked. Loved the white with red accents but sadly I would fear what it would look like once put into action? Thanks for taking us along was a little surprised at the lack of automation in the actual build process? It seemed like everything involved the employee named "manwell".
This is such an interesting video, seeing the inner workings of this company. I hope they get some customer's from your video Bruce and good on you for making a video about working class Americans. edit: A true blue collar lad.
That dude knows his shit, and knows it front to back side to side in every option configuration possible. Would be a worthwhile experience to purchase a trailer from that company.
Little late to the party but just wanted to say, I'm from Michigan and pull the 8-axle van trailers. It was a little crazy to me when I first saw them but I always thought it was a normal thing everywhere until I came across a post on FB talking about how surprised they were to see something like that on the road and then comment after comment from others stating the same thing. Thats when I figured out it was a Michigan only thing and thought it was pretty damn cool. Also, Glad to see someone take pride in what they do and are happy to show it off by giving you a tour of the facility. Awesome video!
What a massive operation. If they can't build it for you, nobody can. Good luck with your build. Looking forward to seeing it when it's done. Stay safe.
Awesome factory tour, seems like well built trailers, can’t wait to see what you order. Wishing you and your a Merry Christmas and Blessings in the New Year.
Super knowledgeable sales guy and the fact that the sales guy fist bumps the production guys shows me that is a down to earth company. Really cool to see.
I love Globe trailers. If you have a 3axle truck. Definitely get 51 ton 2axle with the 3axle hydraulic flip. If you get 4axle truck then you get 55 ton 3axle with 4th flip. I run 3axle truck with 3axle double drop.
as a Marine Corps Veteran i can confirm the government loves the hell out of flat bed trailers, when i was in we would load our hmmwv´s and trucks on lowboys and flat bed trailers, loved loading them hated unloading lol
That guy is great, showed and explained everything, we run a 55 ton Talbert, three axle rear with lift third and manual dump, we only dump air on the 70k+ pound machines, do their necks have multiple height adjustment? We can set our neck height at 6 different levels which raises the whole trailer height without Messing with leveling valve(import for heavier stuff
Bruce in Canada the standard width for any type of trailer is 102” (8ft. 6”) with a annual permit you can pull a 10 ft. Wide trailer for farm and construction equipment. Good luck with your trailer build. From Newfoundland 🇨🇦

@realemonful lol, when certain management wasn't around I wore 50% if any of the safety equipment myself..🤣 safety squints good enough

It's the ponytail that gives him the trailer game abilities
Sounds like some old guys mad because they don't have enough hair to tie back

That guy did great plant tour. Pakistani truck has competition.. nice to see American truck factory still here ..
Thanks for the ride along there buddy you and your family have a beautiful Christmas 👍♥️💙🇱🇷
That’s a Globe!! Love em.
I had a 55ton 4 axle. Hyd neck and 4th flip. Expanded steel down the center for storage. Lots of extras. Globe trailers rock.
I could watch stuff like this all day! Great video!
as a Marine Corps Veteran i can confirm the government loves the hell out of flat bed trailers, when i was in we would load our hmmwv´s and trucks on lowboys and flat bed trailers, loved loading them hated unloading lol
WoW! Never thought about heavy hauling… Those are some beautiful trailers
Unbelievable trailer Com. I’m sure these trailers are as expensive if not more than the tractor that pulls
them. Great video Bruce!!!
That is a super clean trailer love the paint on it nice stuff.
that red & white trailer looks awesome!
That is one badass trailer, Bruce!
Really entertaining and informative that guy really knows how to build trailers
That guy is great, showed and explained everything, we run a 55 ton Talbert, three axle rear with lift third and manual dump, we only dump air on the 70k+ pound machines, do their necks have multiple height adjustment? I want to be as knowledgeable at my place of work as this guy. There’s some things I don’t have answers for, this guy knows their product to the weld.
He’s probably worked every position there. I’m kinda of the same way at my job, because of experience and working every position there over the last 20 yrs.

Great piece of advice.
He’s not worried about the practical specs of the trailer, he just wants to fit in with the cool kids section at the truck shows.
This trailer won’t last long before he realizes he can’t use it like he thought and it ends up for sale

Nice rig , I’ll bet trailer has hearty price tag . It works if trailer is busy ,a lot of heavy haulin !
Thanks Bruce I really enjoy seeing the whole process of making the trailers great video
That's very impressive. Great tour.
I work with truck drivers that use those trailers all the time. They are actually super aggravating when they will not slide back together. We have to use a crane to pick up weight most of the time. Totally only nice and easy while it’s new
That was a fabulous tour by an excellent company man.
I have globe for 5 years and I love it
Great trailers, and very good quality, I am impressed with the finish,, from a KIWI,,
Wow ! Globe trailers. That’s what I would get looks like the best.
Back in the 1970s I worked for Ameron who manufactured concrete pipe fir water and water applications. We designed a single beam light Aluminum Trailer. During testing it buckled under the weight of the doing to being to light weight. Ameron in 1979 s had the largest private fleet of flat bed trailers in California. We had a fleet of a 12 Cozad low bed heaven haul rigs. Fun times managing the fleet.
Excellent video. I truly enjoyed it. Very informative and great detail.
That outfit looks top notch super high end stuff go a little higher than you think you need without breaking the bank or needing big permits.
That’s crazy, I run the same press brake but only a 80ton. Awesome video
loved the trailers and operation they run....looks like quality products but get the 55ton stretch with the hydraulic flip rear axel
Awesome tour guy def knows his stuff hard to come by this day in age..
One of the coolest videos Thank you for sharing👍🇺🇸
Globe trailers you have a new fan 👍
Never thought I'd appreciate a trailer so much. cool video
Great to see companies manufactured in America
Excellent video. Thank you Bruce
Pacesetter trailers are the absolute cadillac of the low bed trailers
