Hi Bruce, I am a 75yr old retired trucker with lots of experience throughout Europe and worked in the US between March 96 and January 01. I am fascinated by your love for Scania trucks. What does surprise me is that you haven't picked up a bonnetted model. Do you have future plans to get one. Keep the videos coming.
I just got my license this summer and been driving for about 7months now. Doing something like this would be so interesting and one day I’d love to give it a try
@@realkilju Those trucks with a single axle can carry up to 70 tons with two trailers, with 5 axles in Holland they can legally carry 50 tons. They are European trucks, not American junk.
The boom can go up or move to the side if its not properly secured. I just started with ATS and they had a bridge strike where the boom moved and it hit the bridge.
its more to prevent it from going side to side. if the equipment has a way to lock it in, then you don't need a chain. except for certain cercumstances. But every attachment needs a chain, incase the bucket comes off, be it back hoe or skid loader.
Watched an episode of Svenska Truckers (Swedish Truckers) where one of the guys featured on the show had a generator station on his trailer. Total weight of nearly 170 tons, or something like that. That's roughly 375000lbs. Volvo power baby! The standard Swedish truck and trailer combination has a max gross weight of 141000lbs so 120000lbs isn't very heavy for our standrards ;)
Nice video as usual! Next time it would be a lot cooler to show you guys actually driving through traffic and making all the turns etc! Mount a gopro facing forward on whatever your hauling so we can watch
Timelapse trucker UA-cam channel is the way to go for super heavy haul… tri drive C500 with a Texas winch bed on the truck. Hauls 230,570lbs or 104,560KGs on the scale. 😂😂 Canada oil patch work
Hay i was just thinking if blue coller stays you should put some lights on the front and get onr of those towing things that tim Gentry has and turn it in to a tow and recovery rig branch off and make a new chanel
as the great guy from indiana says. when in doubt throw another chain. i'd be more worried about the condition of your securement, then the securement itself.
Great video! Do you have a video that you talk about your equipment and specs? What kind of equipment is required to haul heavy hauls?Maybe you can make one if not.. thanks 😎🤘🏽
Yeah, with the setup and load he has, it's just a fully loaded truck in North America. Nothing special at all. Bruse is the type of driver that comes into my office every week. A know nothing know it all. I file those resumes under G for garbage.
@@havocreaper2404 ok. 😂. It’s the bridges and narrow winding roads here in norway that restrict the load to max 60 ton and max lenght 25,25 meters.. But of cource we have wider, bigger heavy loads that requires permit / follow car / closing the road etc…
@@svimmelmc yeah same here, last week for me it was 32 feet high 27 feet wide 42 meters long on a hydraulic platform weighing 220,000KG gross next week the same thing ish just heavier 350K Bruce's so called heavy haul turck would leve its guts on the road within a kilometer. That is if he could get it out of the yard onto the road. ( not likely)
Def not loading and chaining down in 5 mins, but maybe some idiots will believe you. You can tell Bruce hasn’t done much heavy haul if this is what he considers heavy, lol, but he’ll learn in time what heavy really is.
Everyone has to learn somewhere. 🤷♂️ I'm pretty sure that you didn't pop out of the womb and go straight to driving truck and hauling a 80k lb excavator around! 🤠
This is awesome, but 120.000 pounds isnt really a lot tho? Normal commercial trucks in norway are rated for 60 tons (which is about 120.000 pounds) and thats just regular driving of goods. Special transports can be upwards of 200.000 pounds and not consider «that extraordinary». Are american trucks and/or roads just weaker?

You need to be worried about the paint, frame and everything because it will be your ass that gets burned if you dont.
facts
@outperformancelife3145 Elevate the equipment to your trailer! Then since you're Bitching about the paint!
The guy you're with is the real deal. Some people got it and some dont.Take notes Bruce.

the scania watching the video: I am stronger, I am better, I AM BETTER!!! 🔥
I was a heavy hauler for years. Basically if it fit on a trailer the boss wouldn’t take the job. I loved every minute of it

Man how yall got them binders on the tracks. The way it should have been done is hooked on the inside of the tracks and the outside of the trailer
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Bruce Wilson, family, and crew.

Better get started on that inframe for blue collar.
I've never had the courage to just use my binder from the tracks to the trailer. I think thats insane!
Light work. Come lowbed on the west coast with the big boys hopping 336’s over the back of a Murray or rackley.
Translation?
Bruce, I hope you and your family had a happy Thanksgiving!

I’ve never seen anyone chain a machine down while they’re trailer was split 🤣🤣🤦🏻
Daddy Chris needs to take us fishing😊
I remember being in the army and they had a truck that hauled the M-1 tank and I had to replace the transmission on that truck. They called it the het
I do that 3 to 4 times a day with 320 336 and 349 CATS!
No you don’t

That pete is absolutely gorgeous except for the DEF tank hanging off the side, ruins the entire truck. Next hevy haul video you should use the Scania
Here in Finland 🇫🇮 truck diesel costs about 11$ per gallon

The stock X-15 Cummins sound or did you glider swap it it doesn’t sound like an X-15 Cummins to me
It’s deleted with the factory vgt turbo

54,500 тонны это нормально, для такой техники!
Nice of Bruce to do a solid 1/4 day of real work and not make a mockery of it like he did that logging video. Maybe he will learn afterall.
does the blue collar giveaway include people from hawaii?
