If you're going to be a heavy hauler don't worry about your paint job on your rig & if you're worried about your paint job then you don't need to be a heavy hauler

You need to be worried about the paint, frame and everything because it will be your ass that gets burned if you dont.

always love seeing some more trucking content ,, only thing i like more than actually driving a truck is watching other guys drive trucks ,, i am jealous of the truck , wish i could afford such a nice truck ,, always loved the peterbilt style ,, my truck was built in 1977 as a 359 flat top ,,sometime in 1978 it was rebuilt as a heavy hauler for an oil driller ,, it was given a bigger engine and a 3rd driving axle along with a driven steer axle ,, it's slow as an ox but has more pulling power than it can use ,,, my trailer is a 50 ton drop deck ,don't rightly remember who built it but i like the fold flat goose neck ,,my truck has a 75 ton winch behind the cab for just this purpose , connecting the trailer or loading dead equipment ,,i keep busy here in southwest iowa moving construction machinery and farm machinery for farmers who don't want to drive tractors on the highway

Hi Bruce, I am a 75yr old retired trucker with lots of experience throughout Europe and worked in the US between March 96 and January 01. I am fascinated by your love for Scania trucks. What does surprise me is that you haven't picked up a bonnetted model. Do you have future plans to get one. Keep the videos coming.

its more to prevent it from going side to side. if the equipment has a way to lock it in, then you don't need a chain. except for certain cercumstances. But every attachment needs a chain, incase the bucket comes off, be it back hoe or skid loader.

Watched an episode of Svenska Truckers (Swedish Truckers) where one of the guys featured on the show had a generator station on his trailer. Total weight of nearly 170 tons, or something like that. That's roughly 375000lbs. Volvo power baby! The standard Swedish truck and trailer combination has a max gross weight of 141000lbs so 120000lbs isn't very heavy for our standrards ;)
