Testing out the Lapmonitor Timing System on the track. Perfect tool for practicing and backyard racing on our track.
The Lapmonitor Timing System is a IR based unit that sits on a small tripod at the start finish line on your track. The rc vehicles have a transponder that plugs into your receiver to register via IR when it passes the head unit. The unit connects to an App on your phone or Ipad via blue tooth where you can set up events such as practice or races. The app records the event and saves it for sharing with other racers. My favorite feature is the ghost racer where you can record your fastest lap and then create a ghost racer to race against your best time in a new race or practice session. This is the perfect portable Lap Timing System for the money.

Love your track, i am currently in the process of clearing out the land behind my backyard fence to put in an RC track. something similar to this. This is gorgeous

It works great so far. I place it under my track sign and it did not have any problems.
