  • Come with me on a new journey to Home Recording in the 21st century.
Hardware and software upgrades. Knocking the rust off the playing and making some new tracks. You'll be there as I fumble about. No plugin reviews, just a guy trying to make "interesting" sound and have some fun.
    Cheers!

I'm so glad I clicked on this video! Thanks for taking the time to share your studio. I love these kinds of videos. Everything I've heard you record sounds fantastic. Very cool studio. I liked the looks of that bass right away. I'll bet it plays nicely. I started recording back in the 90's on cassette tapes. I got hooked and bought Ableton Live. I have an 8 channel Behringer interface with 300 feet of mic cable going to my drums in another room. I permanently wired 6 mic cables in overhead and off the floor. The drums sound better with shorter cables, but I don't want the drums in my studio where I record. Neighbors may hear them there. I tried placing the drums in my studio area then discovered I never played them. So, I put them where they could not be so easily heard which is in another room. I use BIAS FX2 amp modeling software. It's plug and play! I love it. I'm always wanting to learn new ways to get better sound. Thanks for sharing!

Please do an episode of what it takes to migrate your Presonus Sudio One from one machine to another. Licensing can get tricky. I'm hoping that it will just work.
