Not much point really... My car would destroy that Harley... it beats 600's and last week beat a 750... The ZX10R against the Harley would be like a cage match between a prime Mike Tyson and Pee Wee Herman... haha
Love your insights. Im 50 and deciding between a 2025 z900 and a ducati monster 939 2024. I live in Phuket Thailand where there is heavy traffic. But, if you leave the island, mainland Thailand is basically all rural with great touring roads. Still undecided but leaning towards the z900. I have no interest in going to the track. I just want to enjoy riding the bike as i explore Thailand.
Once its warms up... Freaking cold this week. But remember, I have had tons of sport bikes with fairings... ZX6R, GSX-R750, R1, Panigale, Daytona 675, CBR1000rr, Ducati 999S, Ducati 1198, Ninja ZX14R... So it will change a little but, but not all that much,
They should slap some handle bars and lower pegs on this and sell shit loads of them. but instead they make that dogshit z1000 and zh2 that no one wants to buy.
Well, this bike is designed to win races, so for those race programs, they need a "production bike" to start their race bike with, so it makes sense to have this the way it is... They have the Ninja 1100, and the new Z900 is kinda cool if you get the updated model with Ohlins... To be honest, if they took this bike in this state of tune, chassis geometry, etc... and just slapped taller bars and a lower footpeg, not sure how many would sell... They have those other models for folks that want more comfort... A few of us would buy them, but probably not as many as you think...
I think you have done the right adequate tuning, decel cut, rev limit increase is just over what we really ride around for,

If you are looking to explore inland, why not consider an adventure bike?
@SquireSCA oh not that kind of exploration. It would be on hwy and city roads. Ive never been a fan of adventure bikes.
Lets see you ride the twisties on the ZX10R. I think your riding style might change
