This is a growing channel for typical guy stuff. Lots of bike stuff, some car content, knives and guns, some politics...
We try to share good content, much of the humor is sarcasm and tongue in cheek, and we always strive to be both informative, while having fun with it.

They should slap some handle bars and lower pegs on this and sell shit loads of them. but instead they make that dogshit z1000 and zh2 that no one wants to buy.
I got this in my recommendation while being curious about watches, looking for an entry-level mechanical watch, This gave me some idea about how to value watches, and I will keep looking for something around my budget in my country. Thanks for the video!
Hello, can the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 record videos without sound/mute?
Hello, "Dave's Man Cave" I was analyzing your channel and saw that in your channel have some problem, That's why your channel is not much growing and not getting much engagement, If you can solve these problems, Your channel will grow like a storm. That's a beautiful watch. If they come out with an orange or turquoise dial I'm going to buy one for my collection.
I think there is a yellow one, check their website. If you like yellow or turquoise, check out my new review on the Citizen Tsuyosa... Comes in both those colors.
Great knife and review, thanks!
Just a question I'm fitting 2021 Speed Twin engine in my 2016 Thruxton but found there is extra breather on cam cover , were does this breather go ? . Was going to fit my old cam cover but found breather connects through cyl head via 2 holes so think be wise to leave 2021 cam cover but not sure what to do with hose (may just stick filter on it )
Not sure... Go to Bike Bandit or somewhere that has the parts fiche and diagrams and see where it would connect to?
It';; become a Collector's item one day! De-register it from having plates and store it if U can!
Nah, bikes are meant to be ridden... can't have one and just let it sit in storage in the hopes that one day it might be worth as much or more than it is today. Already sold it.
My 2021 mt10 is a true work of art but unfortunately in July I was hit head on by a truck and the mt didn’t make it. The Ducati dealer I have near me highly recommended this street fighter. Is it really truly worth the extra 3k?
The MT-10 is mechanically a work of art, but aesthetically its a bit of a train wreck... lol The Ducati is worth the extra money if you really WANT to own a Ducati. it is art, in pretty much every way, and it has the wow and cool factor. Just know going in, that it costs a bit more to maintain. The 15k mile valve check, is the better part of $2k. If you want an exhaust and tune and want to keep the 2 year warranty intact, be prepared to spend a few thousand to do it right... Honestly, unless you really just WANT the Ducati... If you have the extra money spend, ge the new MT-10 SP... Same price as the Duc, more power, electronic Ohlins and stuff, cheaper to maintain, cheaper to do exhaust and tuning, etc...
@ that makes a lot of sense thanks, I loved everything about my 21 MT10 and I mean everything so I may just end up back on a newer one but hoping the come out with a gen 3 and change the front end as I liked the gen 1 front end a billion times more
@@Dylan-f3e Haven't heard any rumblings of a new generation MT10... Maybe for 2026, as the MT-09 just go the refresh this year. I really love Ducati, but I just got to a point where it was enough... Exhaust and tuning expensive AF. I wanted to change the sprockets, but if you do that you cause the traction control and auto blip to go wonky, and the only way to fix that is with an aftermarket ECU flash that voids the warranty... Having to pay the dealer to do the annual service to turn off the service wrench. $2000 for the 15k valve service... I just decided it wasn't worth it any more. On my new ZX10R I have done the ECU flash, tail tidy, new gold chain(2 links longer), +1 rear sprocket, frame sliders, swingarm spools/sliders and even if I toss in the Helibars, I am literally all in for just under $1000 and its complete and doesn't need anything else. Can't even buy a slipon for the Duc for that... haha My vote if you have the budget for the SF, is to get the MT-10 SP... has some tasty upgrades and a simple decat link pipe and ECU flash is an easy 150hp at the wheel and frankly, that CP4 motor sounds better than the V2 Ducati...
Thanks for your post most interesting! I am a 64 year old rider from the uk with 48 years of consistent riding, I am a sports bile rider with experience of racing in the Isle of Man , I have a 900 rs cafe 2019 from new , before taking it from the showroom I had them make it roadworthy, they replaced the heavy exhaust system with a neat 4 into one , the stock Dunlops were replaced with pirelli supercorsa tyres , tail tidy , engine case covers and crash bobbins "still not used" 😂 at the 500 mile service as I felt it was under geared for my style and enjoyment of this bike , I had the dealer fit a 15 tooth to the gearbox and dropped two teeth on the rear , it is now perfect for good comfortable fun , on the mountain course in the Isle of Man many of you know there is no speed limit over the mountain section, so the z900rs comes into its own and is fun to ride and with the correct gearing this bike is just the right tool for the more mature rider that still rides with purpose, great video and thank you !
Glad you enjoyed! Yeah, some people take my comments about it being designed for hipsters and boomers negatively, but it really isn't. There are plenty of sport bike riders that still want a thrill, but their backs can't take being tied into a pretzel every time they ride. With a few upgrades, its still a weapon in the right hands. I have some track day footage on this bike on this channel, and had a blast! And it appeals to hipsters and new riders wanting the retro vibe, without the hassle of having to spend more time wrenching on it than riding it...
@@SquireSCA Yes I agree with that, thanks once again, I have subscribed to your great channel
I got a couple microtechs. They are the first higher end OTF I have gotten after doing cheap flea market runs. It’s been a hate love thing for me for sure. I’m thinking that Guardian looks like a great addition next.
Check out Axial Gear as well. US made too!
Great video thank you
Lets see you ride the twisties on the ZX10R. I think your riding style might change
Once its warms up... Freaking cold this week. But remember, I have had tons of sport bikes with fairings... ZX6R, GSX-R750, R1, Panigale, Daytona 675, CBR1000rr, Ducati 999S, Ducati 1198, Ninja ZX14R... So it will change a little but, but not all that much,
Thank you for calling out Ambidextrous! I hate it with a passion when stated wrong.
"it's gold, gold is faster" hahaha I love that sht. Looks great too!
179 hp completely stock is pretty good! easily get in to the high 180s with cat delete/exhaust and air filter.
Yeah, its stout, and on most other dyno's it would be up in the mid 180s... This one I used always reads a bit low.
Wow! The acceleration! Great handling for Super-Bike!
I have the same bike, what flash did you end up going with?
Just a basic unlock flash from Caylor-Made Motorsports in Marietta, GA
Sold a bike to your wife WTF.
I was gonna sell it but she wanted it. Was I supposed to just eat $12k, or let her take it for a discount and use the money to get what I wanted?
Nice modification and excellent explanation of the reasons why. A 42-tooth on the back with the added power might be nice; just try to prevent whole integers/even numbers on the ratio like 14/42 which would be 3:1...
It really doesn't need lower gearing, although a 42t rear would be cheap and easy to experiment with...
How's the SF after the 600mile tune? Did the unlock make it open up a bit??
Didn't change anything... lol
Would think its fault in piston casting , damage to casting when machining causing crack to propagate because it would concentrate stress . We had this at work , some small indentations on Locomotive wheels caused by clamping in Lathe caused wheels to badly crack . Lucky the motor was stripped as it looks like it would have been disaster if wrist pin boss had come away leaving con rod free to wreck engine
Could be that. The fact that I know of at least 5 other bikes, same year, all US models, roughly the same mileage when they popped... And here is the really weird thing... they all popped the same left piston, and they broke in the same PART of the left piston, and they all did the same damage... Granted, that's only 6 bikes(that I know of) out of how many thousands... but that is a very strange and specific coincidence, no? My mechanic's best guess, and that is all it is, was that there was either a bad batch of pistons, or, a bad set of rings with the ring gap set too low...
@@SquireSCA Did the ring land that broke away from top damage head/valves or lock up engine ? Suppose to be forged pistons on 2022 they look cast to me and doesn't look very good casting on RH side of piston
@@nounoufriend1442 Yeah, mine and the others I talked to, all broke on that ring land area where the metal is super thin... That piece then smashed the spark plug, the valves, etc... Engine didn't lock up, and no damage to the bottom end.
All they need to do is upgrade the dash to digital that way you can see the miles per hour clear and add a bunch of different colors to your options when you order the bike
Honestly, I would want to see a new TFT dash, better electronics and a quickshifter with autoblip... It's electronics package is at least 10 years old and archaic by today's standards...
LOL
Excellent review and comparison! Thanks.
Dang, I wanted to see you destroy that ape on the Harley.
Heck yea, sick dude 🔥💪🏼
Do you still need to do this if have a tune and ais disabled, reason I ask is cause I still get slight pop and crackling, though I’ve been told to check exhuast for leaks at link pipe to headers and what do you know I have a pretty obvious leak there,so I’ll be starting with that but thought I’d ask
It can't hurt to block it with the marble. You will always get SOME popping on decel. The bike does it stock... but with the OEM muffler and CATs in place, it muffles it enough so that you don't really hear it.
I think you have done the right adequate tuning, decel cut, rev limit increase is just over what we really ride around for,
Not much point really... My car would destroy that Harley... it beats 600's and last week beat a 750... The ZX10R against the Harley would be like a cage match between a prime Mike Tyson and Pee Wee Herman... haha
That exhaust looks good and it sounds very nice with 2 of the 3 honeycombs out. "So close to perfect out of the box" is correct!
Yeah, I am just gonna leave it for now. Its obviously not hurting performance.
The mrs has just bought me this watch for Christmas, she gave me it today because she was so excited 😂. I cant believe how well she did picking the watch without any input from me. Plus i normally get aftershave 😅
You are gonna love it. Its an awesome watch!
Is this #5 now?! We can never thank you enough for being such an incredible fan, Dave. Cheers to an incredible year and an even better 2025.
Something like that. I had 3, but decided to scale back my collection to a smaller number of higher $$ watches... So I was in the return period and sent the 3 lower priced ones back and got the P51 Cripes a Mighty. I then also purchased the Rebel AR... For me, those two models are the best and most appealing. Just amazing designs, the quality is top notch, right up there with Tissot, my Longines, etc... Just tryin to decide what my next one will be. Would love to see a 44mm Diver or GX-1A in stainless steel(brushed or polished) with the ocean blue dial...
If you want to use this in your next ad campaign.... ua-cam.com/users/shorts-u4inhkm6CI?si=TS_3E9cQd3-0iV-y
Hey Dave, thanks for all your content. Very informative and always fun to watch you working on your bikes :) Question: is your tune for 2022 speed twin 1200 (stock exhaust, US/CAN) from Dec. 15, 2022 still the latest one? I'm referring to "2022 Speed Twin US and CAN stock exhaust unrestricted Final.hex" Cheers!
I believe that is the correct one. That's just a tweaked and "unrestricted" map for a stock bike. If you do the Xpipe and mufflers and other mods that I did, then I have a custom dyno tuned map for that setup.
Aaaaaah this is sooo good! After the ECU flash, my MT10 backfired like a warzone. Did the marble trick and I am so happy with the result! The popping and banging is now totally gone. Only thing, I’ve attached a ziptie below the marble, just to make sure it remains in place.
The best part of the video is him telling the dog to SHUT UP
Fair enough... This was a quick unboxing... I sorta knew what to expect with this watch and honestly I wasn't impressed. It's not a great watch, given the price. Its just because it has Omega on the dial and all the collectors are excited about it, that it has hype.
Congratulations Dave, the tune zx10r feels so superior in performance!
Rocket ship......😁
That is some serious speed. Wow!
Yeah, his car was fast AF. It makes me laugh when I see 600 guys always flexing, claiming they can beat any car on the road... My Vette, eats 600s. I raced a newer GSX-R750 from a red-light and gapped him by 4 car lengths, and stayed ahead till 140mph when he backed off... That Beemer, I think I can take from the line because I can launch better being mid-engine, but once we are rolling he would leave me for dead. I might have a higher top speed, not sure... it would be close. Mine is supposed to do 194... I could only pull on him because I had a tuned liter bike. A 600 would have gotten left for dead. That Beemer was seriously fast...
Correct me if I am wrong but you're not a 140-pound rider; that bike hauls ass! Amazing machine.
@@frederickwoods5943 I am 245lbs plus gear, so yeah... It's pretty pretty crazy the speed this thing generates. With a small guy like Dani Pedrosa on it, it would likely bend space and time. haha
@SquireSCA wow, my GF tells me to lose some; I am 74, 6'4" and maybe 224 pounds. Btw I still have my 2020 Speed Twin 1200 that got me watching your experiences with that particular bike but am selling it. Hope springtime hits Georgia and Virginia soon; be safe!
Yeah, the weather is cold today, but we still get decent days here and there even in winter. I don't get to ride as much, but we do ride year round. And when its too cold for the bike, that gives me the excuse to take the car. :-)
Fun runs!
I'm happy with my 91mm ranger but I'm eying the 111mm workchamp.
That was a good review. Thank you!
111mm workchamp all day
I recently bought Puma SGB Stockman and...had to return it. It was really not nice, I'm not a knife or steel nerd but Chinese Buck was way better for the same price.
PS, Puma did have better pull then Buck, but only that 😂
I don't have a lot of experience with Puma other than the one I bought. That one was decent, but who knows, maybe I got a good one that was above average?
This was my first one from Puma, hopefully next one will be a keeper. Buying it online is always hit and miss.@@SquireSCA
You are right, that is crazy and insane. Enjoy your ride, but don’t kill yourself.
Yeah, it's fun, but that top end is a bit overkill, not gonna lie. To be honest, there really isn't a need to unlock the power... but in my head, I am like, I paid for a full liter bike, I want the full liter bike... haha
Thanks for the purchase and the shout out!
Thanks for the shout out! Glad you are enjoying the new ZX-10R!
