@@fossetti8216 It rarely gets mentioned on the internet these days but those who know, know how awesome it was despite its flaws (most notably the "bumper cars" effect that could be very frustrating when trying to stop your cab to make a pickup/dropoff in heavy traffic lol). The vibe and atmosphere of that dark and oppressive Kemo City was amazing, paired with that soundtrack... I remember getting it for 3DO first and marathoning it until I finished it. Later got the PC version which had much better graphics and a smoother framerate. Lot of time spent playing that. Incidentally, there's another CyberTaxi game on Steam right now that looks like a straight up Q clone, lol. It's also currently less than a dollar thanks to the Autumn sale, so I'm going to grab it while this newer game comes out and compare them. I had no idea any of these existed until tonight, so I'm absolutely stoked to play these!

Coincidence, but fitted perfectly 😊 The taxi game looks great and even reminded me on Escape from New York (still waiting for a real Snake Plissken game ❤). Thought the same on Delta Force and I'm no fan of F2P, but as one of the biggest fans of Black Hawk Down (love the movie, the soundtrack, the PC game was my first game, I've bought for my new PC back then and I even have the book from Mark Bowden, highly recommended btw), I need to check this out. Black Hawk Down was interesting. I remember that some magazine reviewed it and Vietcong in the same issue and concluded that the latter was better. I'd agree, even though I did finish BHD as well. Still, I believe that Vietcong still has one of the most interesting well-designed and fairly varied single-player campaigns in any FPS. It definitely has its annoying bits, but even those lend it some character.
Great big pile of games to put under the Christmas tree. The Indiana Jones game looks to be a pretty faithful experience, but those minimum specs are frightening! Only Lead Can Stop Them and BloodShed are both currently sitting in my cart on Steam. Trying to convince myself that I should press buy, but I did just buy VOIN a couple of days ago...
I would say like this John having played all three. VOIN: Great power dark fantasy exploration with satisfying combat, but only about 3-5h of content. Bloodshed: Fantastic survivors like FPS but with very little content as of now. Only lead can stop them: Faithful retro shooter that is simple like the old but offers the complete experience with hours of content. Now you make the calls :)
I love Bloodshed game's graphics style, it has a nice combo of voxel and sprite graphics. 🙂 I'm waiting the release of M.E.A.T. 2 too, it has a great vibe like Project Warlock. I just subscribed to your channel, so I won't miss your upcoming video contents.
holy crap that taxi games look like quarantine, wait you can get out of the car? Finally games are improving instead of just trying to capture the past. Unlike the first game shown. Yeah that delta force chinesse f2p game looks too good for a f2p game and i also liked black hawk down but i would prefer if they made a campaign in a modern setting instead. I am not into indiana jones i cant deny the game looks good at least graphics and traps and puzzles but i get the feeling that this game should not have been first person, too much raised fists and punching for a fps. Never heard that meat game. That undead west game looks like someone made a sequel to the stardew valley gunslinger mini game. The last game reminds me of blake stone games. Also the game i am interested the most is the soul reaver remake.
Indiana Jones is not an AAA game, - it's an Indy game!🤪 While i couldn't care less for those Wolfenstein reboot games (as i found all of them extremely lackluster, compared to the predecessor), but i certainly would give my vote to anything good starring the legendary archeologist. Particularly, since the last time 'anything good' appeared on the horizon - was over 30 years ago. Seeing decently-rendered young Harrison Ford smiling from the screen again, embarking on yet another great adventure - can't help but to warm one's heart. Although, the game most certainly will not run on any of my old rigs, but that's fine...that's fine. There are plenty of those that do. And, i also plan for my Heretic revision (some call it "remaster", but i don't) DEMO to be launched this december. Last day of december. At least, that's the ETA. That and my Hexen projects were in a kind of turmoil over the last several months due to multiple technical issues and engine changes, but now i am finally on the right track where things are feasible at last.
Well...the "boomer" shooter genre is now on a road to ruin...so many are coming out it is like a fast food chain serving you slop. However the cab driver game reminded me of Carmageddon from 1997. I would really recommend you play that because of the sheer fun factor and the amazing design by Stainless Games. You can look at it like an fps....only you are driving a car as a weapon. Bloodshed is also looking like a mix between Blood (1997, they even reference it?) and Coven. See you around, Zlim! Thank you for the video.
Tell me one genre that is not on that road of ruin haha, that's why I'm sorting through it broski :) I played a ton of carmageddon back in the day! Was the first game I ever played with a wheel :D Aye bloodshed references blood here and there but it plays nothing like it, it plays as a vampire survivors fps.
i wouldnt say it looks bad, it has the graphics, the puzzles and the traps and the epic action moments but the first person melee combat looks bad and judging with my experiences of modern games "made for a modern audience" that does not fill me with confidence.
