Videos do not do Tehachapi or Cajon justice. I recently passed through both areas for the first time since I was a young kid, and since I was driving alone I was able to stop whenever I wanted, versus always being stuck in the back seat, only catching glimpses of the action while everybody around me paid no mind. It truly is something every railfan should experience at some point in their lives. It will hit you at almost every available sense you have.
I continue to love your long distance dramatic approaches of massive trains! Nobody does it better.

I do kind of miss the whine and growl of an all-SD40/45 power consist, though, through the Tehachapis.
