Very interesting presentation. I have no Saxifraga in my garden and only saw a few earlier this Spring in one nursery. I will try some, if I find them again, and hope that I can discern which will do well in my drier hillside garden.
I have bought quite a few plants from Hardy Cottage plants and they have all done extremely well. Your advice about cutting back Hydrangeas in October was great as they have all come back in excellent condition.
