Loved it. Please do more slow Hatha Yoga classes like this. I love the slow pace, and the perfect amount of instruction. Too many teachers find it necessary to talk and instruct through every second, especially the final pose.

Im 78, have let go of yoga, doing pilates and qigong, and it is so good to get back to some yoga wiith this class!
I have been doing this video and some other yoga routines with Christina for about 6 months now and I love them. Her pace is just right and she doesn't fill the air time with words. She instructs you on how to do the position and just lets you breathe with it in silence. I love that! I am a beginner and she has really helped me fall in love with yoga. I also purchased her book Essential Chakra Yoga and I understand the impact of the poses on your chakras. I highly recommend her book. I choose a few from her book to balance my chakras and I feel great. Thank you Christina for bringing yoga into my life. I am 61 years old and I plan to do yoga for the rest of my life!
Thank you for this video! I've been looking for this exact type of video for months. I wanted a beginner video that was straight forward, with instruction, minimal talking, reminders to work on our breathe, and to have the chance to be in the moment. I so appreciated the time you allowed during the last pose for us to just feel our bodies and breath. I'm looking to learn about yoga to use as a spiritual/emotional growth tool and this style of video is it for me! I felt like I was in an actual live class with moments of silence to feel my body and not just rushed from one pose to the next. Thanks again! ❤️

Thank you 🙏🏻 I just discovered your channel. I’ve practiced yoga since 2015. This practice was so silent, I easily entered a meditative state. While this one is beginner level, it was so relaxing to be able to just close my eyes and slowly maneuver through it without tons of talking. So many instructors repeat the basics for the entirety of intermediate-advanced level classes, it’s hard to quiet my over-active mind. Simplicity is underrated! I definitely subbed 😌🙏🏻💖

Thanks for doing that very beginning Hatha session! I've been away from Yoga for years, and have been meaning to get back to it. Now that I'm staying home, it's SO helpful for helping to stay positive and for helping to get back in shape. Hatha yoga is my favorite. I know this video is five years old but I just found it today. I love that you give a little bit of time in between each pose so that we can really settle into it. I haven’t done yoga in 12 years and this takes me back to the reason why I love it so much. The breath work, the honoring of my body, and where it is at this moment in time, the reminder to be gentle with myself, and to know that this is not a race. It’s an honoring and visioning of who I want to be.❤ thank you

Thank you! This felt like a true beginner class. So many of the so-called beginner videos start and stay in the cross-legged position or standing then doing the tree pose. It leaves out all the beginners who can't do that! Your class was challenging but something most people can do. Thank you for the quiet focus also.

This was my first yoga session at home. I took classes at my college gym a few years ago and am happy I finally put my yoga mat to use at home. Your instructions were very clear and you have a soothing voice. The speed of your instructions are good too.
While I followed along the sounds of my dishwasher were really calming
This was just what I was looking for as I restart my practice which is much overdue. I went through 2 other videos by different practitioners before I found you. Restorative Hatha yoga is my favorite as it gets my blood moving but keeps me in a relaxed and present state. I find a lot of yoga teachers move along too fast and don't let you really sink into the power of the pose in the moment. Thanks this will be my morning routine for awhile as I get moving again.

Thank you so much! I have been sort of on the side-lines becasue of vertigo, injuries, and some just plain not motivated laziness. I am trying to make the commitment to my physical health while laid off because of the Coronavirus. My most recent thing I am recovering from was surgery on my right shoulder which has been a delayed recovery because I went right back to work and I use my right hand on the number pad A LOT in my accounting clerk position. My shoulder was completely tense and inflamed and not being able to just heal. Now at home and not doing that all day, it is feeling better and I am ready to gently get back to it. This video was perfect for me! I have subscribed, and look forward to taking better care of my body. Thank you!

Hi Christina, I've attempted Yoga many times over the years, unsuccessfully. The classes were always to0 advance for where I was physically and was basically torture. I appreciated this Hatha beginners class because it was actually a beginners class and I was able to follow. Thank you. Look forward to continuing.

This hatha yoga class was perfect for me. I am doing a daily practice and find the slow pace, the poses chosen, and the length of the practice exactly what I needed right now. If there are longer classes (say 30-45 minutes in this style and comfort level), I would most likely look to them as well when I have more time in the morning. Thank you for sharing.

I have terrible lower back problems which has badly effected my core strength. I'm desperately trying to improve all of this carefully and tone up in the process. I found this session manageable - just! Will keep at it!
