Just started yoga after my chiropractor recommended I take yoga and Pilates for my back, I have a curve and a slight twist in my spine, I have a great instructor on Wednesdays and we do Yin Yoga, nice and slow which is perfect for me and I feel amazing after class, these exercises look like a great addition to add to my routine thanks! There’s certain things which I can’t do very well like child’s pose, pulling my knees in to my chest or even just sitting up with my legs crossed is hard to do, hoping to improve in the next few months.
Sounds like you’re describing scoliosis, I have a mild curve and twist in my spine as well and struggle with all the exact same poses you mentioned even though I fairly flexible (I’ve been able lay my palms flat on the ground while standing with straight legs since a kid) but it’s been getting better. Have you been able to stay consistent with your practice and how do you feel now?

I used to do yoga with Eric Schiffman but after injuries, and painful hands, herniated disc I cam back but the gentle yoga I found online was not gentle but more athletic and not kind to my body and I felt I should walk away. but I gave this a try and this is the yoga I remember and loved. Hi Akshaya, in the intention of being honest, here is my update at the end of the 14th day. During these days, I have not missed even a single video until now. However, I did random breaks after three days but covered the backlogs with proper flow of asanas by doing 2 to 3 per day. So, from the 15th day onwards, that's tomorrow onwards, I will again stick to the actual do and rest days. Thank you so much!😊

Tried this for first time this morning. Did a 10 minute glutes workout first. This was challenging enough for me to stick with it. Great pace and easy to follow verbal instructions.
