Quick question, how do you infinitely move the grid? thanks for the great tutorial! subbed
When I put grid blending mode to normal, under it turns grey instead of black
You can use color correction on the grid to make it black (Use the curves)
I had the same problem. The solution is to use the effect "change color to", then select the grey color from the grid layer to transform into black, select "hue and lightness" and you are good to go!

I don't know what I am doing wrong but every time I turn the grid blending mode onto normal the entire grid turns gray and loses the solid black color. Could someone please help me? :)
The echo effect its no working in my text comp. What could it be?
It wasn't working for me at first either. Make sure you layer that you're applying the echo effect to isn't 3D and that the pre-composed ones are.
Even when I turn on 3d layer, my grid acts like a 2d layer (when x is set to 88* it gets thinner instead of changing into a floor like in the video)
Alright, figured it out. Had to change 3d view to active camera instead of "front"

you have to precompose the text, then you can apply it. i had the same problem. hope it helps.
@@memeinthehighcastle9201 I have pre-composed the Text Echo and did the same thing, and thus i ran into the problem.
