You can tell he really likes this kit. Best sounding kit in that price range. Those toms sound incredible
I appreciate this comment is rendered irrelevant by time, but this is exactly what i thought - you can tell he likes it. REALLY likes it. He's making it sing and the drums are bringing the best out in him.
I really like this kit! I also like how it becomes available 2 days before our 27th anniversary. Note to husband... Honey I want this kit 💋 Personally. I think it sounds warmer than my 7 piece concept. Which I also love.
Finally Patrick is back
John Goodman is back
HELL YEAH!!!! AWESOME!!!🎉👍😲
This kit sounds awesome!
How would you compare the limited edition to the regular 7 piece kit?
I know the toms a little shallower... What's your take on it? 😊
Ohhh... And awesome drumming 😎👍
Hi, can you write how you tune this set? Do you tune it to the sounds? Do you use any tuner? What frequencies do you set for upper and lower drumheads?
Are PDP Concept Maple drums the best under $1000?
Thang Lian Cin yes
They’re one of em lol up there with Gretsch Catalina Maple, And maybe the Tama Superstar I believe
I would say that any sonor kit these days under a grand are better
I love mine, it is right at the 1,000$ mark. I got the concept maple exotic, it has the virgin kick.
@@claystaggs8908 I like how PDP offers a plate to cover the hole if you want to take off the tom mount.
looks like an old Yamaha DP series
👍
Like cool
PDP Concept Maple or Yamaha Stage Custom Birch?
I am asking me the same question
Yamaha SCB all the way.
Try Mapex Armory (mix of birch and maple), it's in that price range, great kit for the money
This or the sjc pathfinder, stage custom, or gretsch Catalina?
Have you tried Mapex Armory? It's a mix of birch and maple, very nice sounding kit + killer snare
@@markomarkovic5729 yeah I've had a look at it and asked people on UA-cam but they reckon that the stage custom is the best
@@chopper265 You should try both kits, don't make a decision based on UA-cam comments. You may like Stage Custom more, maybe some other set, but you need to try all of them.
@@markomarkovic5729 good advice, thank you! 👍
It shows you don’t need to spend a fortune on drums, as long as you can play well.
Buy good heads and good cymbals with the money you will save on these.

Sonor AQ2 and Tama Superstar beat this kit !
These rack toms sound good though. Sonor Aq2 expensive tho no?
Sq2 is expensive
Not a chance. Superstar doesn’t sound nearly as good as this
Yeah it does.. sounds way better.. with more sustain. ua-cam.com/video/KX1CxMxUF50/v-deo.html , ua-cam.com/video/T448ttBskZ8/v-deo.html
@@larrytate1657 No, the SQ 2 series is expensive.
I have watched so many of these videos every kit sounds the same. They can’t touch my Ludwig Maple & Ludwig Neusonic Kits equipped with Paiste 2002’s
Stephen Landry very wrong
Not too many straights playing a kit that color! 😜
Seriously? WTF does one's sexual orientation have to do with the color of a musical instrument? Jesus God, that's so lame.
I'm very straight, and also very funky, as this beautiful set
meanwhile the color scheme was pulled from a classic race car lol
aka a color scheme pulled from THE most "man" watched sport lol
idiot
