LOVE LOVE LOVE the extra attention to detail on conservation and supporting the local economy. Grew up in Latin America and my dad is a conservationist -- that all makes a HUGE difference to protecting communities and being a thoughtful and kind tourist.
Awesome video, definitely covered some of the best spots! My husband and I got married in Roatan last year. We have been going to Roatan for the last 7 years and are going back for our one year wedding anniversary in July 2024. Surprisingly we haven't done the mangrove tour in Oakridge, we rented a "scooter" and drove through it but can't wait to book that tour. I am stumped on an anniversary gift idea for my husband so maybe surprise mangrove tour haha??
Thank you for your video, I first came to Roatan in 2007 and flew over the island with a open seaplane I took video of the whole island there was not much activity going on mainly jungle and when I went back ten years later is was like a different place they even had highways! When I fist came it was a dirt road and no electricity.
Like your videos and appreciate your philosophies. We are coming in January and staying at a small place in Sandy Bay We have not rented a vehicle. We like to walk but wonder if there is any public type of transport
There are several people that do the mangrove tour ,if you go to lulus gas station the dory's are lined up waiting to take you wherever you may want to go
Excellent video but the capital is Tegucigalpa. San Pedro Sula is the capital of “industrialization” where they have different plants, say, for furniture making, call centers, etc.

LOVE your style and perceptions of conservation and animal care. Thank you! Any info on Johnny or the guy creating "Best Tacos?" Thanks! :)
Great video Scott, I liked your openness and honesty about the good and bad practices in the region, awesome drone footage as usual too 👍🏻

Thank you for mentioning Serve Coffee! Serving God, by serving others!
I am going to Honduras in October. I clicked on the Viator link and it appears to be a list of tours for Cruise Ship visitors.

Take a water taxi from West Bay to West End and vice versa. Runs about $10 one way
Great video! Do you have contact info for Johnny to book a mangrove tour?
Did I miss the link on where to stay?
