Friends and I have a trip set for Feb 2025. The island looks amazing can you expand on where to find some hidden places with normally smooth water for snorkeling?
Absolutely! There are some fantastic hidden spots around the island where you can find calm waters perfect for snorkeling. I’d recommend checking out the secluded coves on the east side; they often have clear, smooth waters.
Thanks for the video! I will be there next week to celebrate my birthday! Definitely looking to forward to experiencing the local vibe, culture, and trying the Sopa de Caracon! Do they only make this dish in the Punta Gorda community?
Will be there next week. From New Orleans and we like to eat, drink and have fun. Looking forward to seeing the real side and not that fake tourist part.
My family are from the three islands, mainly from Roatan, y My family's oldest generation settled on the island in the late 1800s they were all English speakers, but I've seen that the English speakers are a minority nowadays.
My hometown, it is a GEM, blessed to call Roatan my home... beautiful place for everyone to visit.
So as a local, where’s the best food to grab lunch on the island?
