Wow, this brings back so many memories! My family used to go to Prince Edward Island every summer for 20 years (near Summerside). It’s such a special place. Most people probably don’t know that PEI has more than just its famous red sand beaches and lighthouses - the island is full of hidden gems like the stunning Wood Islands or the quiet, lesser-known Darnley Basin, where you can see seals and get away from the crowds. Plus, the food scene is incredible - not just seafood, but amazing local produce and farm-to-table meals. PEI has a way of making you feel like you’ve found your own little slice of paradise. Definitely a place you could keep coming back to year after year!
