Thank you for this Video. I like your clear and easy to follow step-by-step directions. I will definitely be cooking some fries soon. Oh, and thanks for the zucchini fries idea!
8:32 would you not recommend putting the salt and vinegar seasoning on the fries prior to the air frying step? I just got the seasoning and it says this blend is made specially for air frying and grilling (the finer texture won’t burn as quickly).
Good question. I've tried them both ways and they never cook as evenly in the basket... some are soggy while others are overcooked. This way is a little more effort but definitely worth it in my opinion. If you try it let me know your thoughts.
thanks so much took the anxiety of how it really works, use , cleaning and storing!
Thank you. I was feeling a bit in awe of this new appliance but you have given me confidence to try it as soon as I can.
Love your cooking demos!
Great video that shows the different ways to make fries with different veggies

What do you put on the trays when you fry the sweet potatoes? What kind of pad?
Nothing. I put them directly on the tray
Okay, thank you for the reply. Have a great day!
Where did you buy your citter
It is the Pampered Chef Rapid Prep Mandoline. I love it! www.pamperedchef.com/pws/pcwithkatie/shop/Kitchen+Tools/Food+Prep/Rapid-Prep+Mandoline/100351
Love my PC Air Fryer! Why soak the potatoes for an hour? Just curious.
You want to get rid of the starch. This helps keep them from sticking and they will crisp up so much better!
@@PamperedChefWithKatie thanks! I kind of thought that was why. Great job with these videos! (From a fellow PC consultant 😊)
Where do you get the flour sacks?
I got mine at Wal-Mart. You can get a 5-pack for $4.78.
Why not use the rotating basket?

So if you don’t use the rotate basket. For fries what is it good for ?
Truthfully i rarely use the basket. I have used it for Brussel Sprouts and for popcorn. That is about it.
Hey, Katie.
