Something I like to keep in mind about french fries is that, ultimately, the ingredients for them are simple- potatoes, oil, salt- and potatoes are a good source of potassium. Sure, deep-frying them is going to increase the fat content, and, depending on the oil, may not be one particularly healthy for us, but the concept itself isn't 'bad' or anything. This is why I don't feel bad about making homemade fries, and, as long as I'm not visiting the drive through too often, I don't feel bad about getting fast food fries either. Also, I prefer regular fries! :)
Thank you for these recipes. I love a good French fry, but I actually prefer sweet potato fries. I've never made them in the air fryer, but I will definitely be trying them after this. Thanks again!
Do you prefer sweet potato fries or regular fries? Either way, I've got you covered today! I'd never had french fries made with Yukon gold potatoes and I have to say... they were incredible!
Everything I've cooked in this unit has come out great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB ! Everything tastes so good. Some of the recipes I've changed a little to improve the taste. For instance, for french fries which call for no oil, I spray them with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. They come out great! It makes the best toast I have ever eaten. The recipe I use calls for lightly buttering both sides of the bread. It calls for cooking at 400 degrees for 5 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side. This time has a lot to do with the kind of bread you are using...so keep an eye on it. Also, the fans in this Ninja are a lot stronger than other air fryers. So lay a metal spoon or something on the bread to keep it from flying around. It's a little extra work to use your Ninja as a toaster but it is worth it!
I love sweet potato fries but the frozen ones always add so much sugar and other terrible stuff (particularly for me with my autoimmune disease)! I'll definitely be making some sweet potato fries for myself this next week 😋

I do that too ! I usually cut my potatoes into fries and soak them in cold water for an hour rinse them out and then air fry them. They are delicious.
Love your encouraging comments in the intro!!!
I feel blessed and truly delighted to have found this!!

Sweet potato fries are my favorite. Do you possibly have a baked sweet potato fry recipe? I don’t have an air fryer.
Sweet potato fries actually got me eating sweet potato at all. I love them. Still not sure about soft sweet potatoes though... XD
Unfortunately
Belgian fries.. they are thicker and have more bite. I don't like the thinner fries..they are to quick to eat.
Regular fries are my fave!
I just love how this video has turned out truly enjoyed it

I love both sweet potato and normal fries! 🍟
Perfect love it 😊
I prefer regular fries also. Love air fried French fries.
Thank you.
Instapot air fryer, I'll look for a rack lol. Of I go with 1/4" fries what time/temp did you use?
What temperature and for how long did you airfry them for?
I wondered the same thing!
Alyssia, I love fries, especially with the restaurants like McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Hardee's, Checkers and Rally's, Arby's, etc.
What temperature and time on the AirFryer
😊ty
Can I do this in a i it’s a pot ?
Love both but prefer sweet potato fries much to my surprise
I would absolutely 5:16 not peel them. Fiber is our friend 🙂
I only make my fries in the air fryer fresh . No choice with mast cell illness
You never put the air fryer temp or how long to bake
I love veggie burgers, but sometimes they have so much that isn't good for us that a tasty meat patty would have been better.
True.
It looks overcooked for me🎉😂
I'm a potato girl sweet potato are to mushy
you can make something more interesting than this
