NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programming has created an incredible foundation for me in my pursuit of mastering my life, which is why I teach it in my self improvement trainings and apply it when I do life coaching or help people with their businesses. NLP is a powerful model that will help you accelerate your results. It's also the ultimate state management toolkit.
Ever wonder where Tony Robbins got his understandings of human behavior and influence? NLP was a major part of his education as a self improvement guru.

Thank you for having this topic.
Julia thanks for asking those questions at the beginning, because I wondering about the same. Also appreciate Nate’s questions and for Damon providing answers that people can relate with.

It’s so important to balance our general and specific understandings of the world, so that we can see the image of our lives with broad detail and coherence

The difficult to change is resentment.
The lack of sense of justice or revenge.
Justice or revenge is the act of something is solved, of taking the power back.
Knowing the source of our power comes from and that we just make some wrong blame thing by not knowing that our power never was taken out of us, is part of the changing process

So much of this resonates with me!
I stopped smoking for a year and a half by not thinking too much about it, by taking one day at the time and saying to myself let's try it just for one more day and breathing deeply everytime I wanted to smoke. That was the first time ever I was so successful in stopping, unfortunately I started again because I felt very sad and lonely when my daughter moved out and went to work and abroad, I grew her up by myself so she means everything to me. So now I have to start all over again with smoking 😢
The other thing I really resonate with that I think it's also in my way us that I love comfort so much! I am just like Julia was.
Any tips on how to change that please?
Thank you very much for your content guys!

      You're welcome.
You can ask yourself, how much comfort is enough? How much comfort would you need to indulge in for it to make you uncomfortable in other areas of your life? For example, I work for myself and I work from home, which means if I really wanted to, I could sleep late every morning. While enjoying that comfort, I'm also getting uncomfortable knowing that I have a lot of work to do and it's not getting done. People who overly focus on comfort or usually ignoring everything else so how can you be comfortable while being aware of everything else? When you think about it this way, you'll pay bills on time, take better care of your health, etc. because there is comfort in doing those things.

@@DamonCart thank you Damon, so would it be correct saying, basically find a compromise? Is that what you mean?

    • @DamonCart
      @DamonCart  Рік тому +1

@@Anna_Amoroso you can do better than compromise. Compromise implies sacrifice and though you may have to make sacrifices to get what you want, if that's how you perceive it, some part of you will likely be resentful and that's not going to help you. Think more in terms of integration and balance. When you're goals are aligned to your values and your values are integrated, you will experience wholeness, which is the best way to set yourself up for success rather than pursuing success from a divided self that feels like it's always having to compromise.

@@DamonCart thank you so much Damon for your long answers, I really appreciate it. If I understood I should integrate but how do I find the value to integrate behind comfort and low risk taking mentality?
I definitely know I want to coach and I did this value and integration process online with you but there are things or qualities in the way so things go very very slowly for me. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thank you so much again, I really hope to join you soon on your platform 🤞

@@Anna_Amoroso it should be obvious. Comfort is short term gratification and it's more guaranteed than something that takes longer to create. For example, eating potato chips and binging on Netflix is guaranteed comfort and you can do it immediately. There's no long term gratification though and it will get in your way of say building your coaching business, which will take longer and is not guaranteed to succeed. You're choosing the short term, guaranteed comfort over the longer term, not so guaranteed, lasting fulfillment of building a coaching business. Low risk, low reward. High risk, high reward. However, it doesn't have to be so binary. While you might fail at whatever endeavor you set out to do, you will at least learn something. If you value learning, you will receive fulfillment regardless of the outcome. Some of my greatest failures eventually turned into my greatest successes. I even did a video about how I failed to create the business I wanted using this UA-cam channel, but in failing, a new opportunity revealed itself that was far better than my original concept and it is now the current incarnation of my business. It took failing at a good idea to realize that I could create something greater and I did. Failure is only risky if you don't learn from it.
