Great input, I have got some spare Christmas brake time ahead of me working on exactly those five tricks…actually working on the fs 5.0. Only Problem is it’s Freezing already in my Neck of the woods. Anyways like your content 👍 keep it up !!

Look at the forecast for the days ahead of you. When you can find a day that’s 40-45+ as a high, make a plan to go out in the “heat” of the day or when there’s the best chance for full sun (1-3pm). For me, that’s taking a delayed lunch hour. But you’d be surprised how comfortable skating at 40 degrees is when you’re motivated and doing rapid fire attempts.

I feel you on that!!! It's getting to cold. The local by me is right on the water 😭😭 get those thermals ready and send it! Haha let me know when you try them if you need any extra tips! You definitely got it!

@@AustinSK8NYC I’ve been pretty busy but I still made it to the Tuesday night spot for the 20th consecutive week since I first tried it. I also found the perfect lunch hour spot by work. I’m in the Hauppauge Industrial Park and there are quite a few buildings that are vacant. Most are run down, but one just had a large back section of their parking lot redone in hopes of getting a tenant. It’s empty. It’s new. There aren’t cameras trained on the spot. There are only loading docks and back lots in the adjacent places. I figure I’ll be able to work on the kickflip more. It’s coming. I had a breakthrough when I tried it more like an Ollie; flicking it later, like where you level out with the front foot. I’ve been flicking it too much in the ascent and it sends my front foot to the ground with no way back up.

BS disaster took me 2 months, FS Disaster 4 months (and still sketchy), FS 50-50 grinds 6 months, FS 5-0 still working on it after 2 years.

Damn Austin! This video was awesome!! Quality seems to be way up!
Thinking i'm falling closer to the beginner level tho after watching this since I can only do 2/5 😂

Nice video. Only one thing to learn FS Disaster. It is much easier when you learn first "Switch Half Cab Rock To Fakie" because it is the exact motion of a Frontside Disaster execpt without FS Ollie 180.
