But I didn't know GM made an extra batch for Australia, I thought the story goes that HSV scrounged around to find 300 LS9's from warehouses etc. But if you look online, LS9 crate engines are for sale so GM must still be making them, all confusing to me.

also why did you leave that car cover in the tray to bounce around like that, irrespective of how the raffle people presented the car to you, put that bag in the passenger compartment. it's a collectable piece. i don't know man, you kinda didn't pay this car justice with this video in my opinion. Still though, thumbs up for the fact that you got your hands onto it.
in hindsight whatever the automotive companys wanted as a subsidy from the government would be well worth it for all the expertise and engineering skills gained by manufacturers and subsidiaries in this country, the last holden was a really good piece of automotive engineering particularly with those L v8s from gm usa
👏👏
I’d love to see your take on the cerato GT and stinger GT

We used to have the Chevrolet Lumina in South Africa, it was basically our version of the Commodore. Unfortunately they were discontinued in 2013. I always wanted the sedan version, but buying a second hand V8 in SA is not a smart thing to do.
Its the exact car just with chev badges
