I have recently purchased. A used one of these washer/dryer combination. I am just now working on the washing machine. Once it’s plugged up and I press power on (the bottom washer) I don’t hear a solenoid click like yours is doing. Is this the door latch? My door does not latch….. ever. I don’t have any codes on anymore, I had to replace the control board 2 years ago and I am just now getting back to it. Had too many other things to fix so I had to let this Macie go for 2 years. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Sounds like you’re doing all the right things. Changing out the computer 💻 board. Its my opinion that the washer mostly likely needs a new door or sadly a new one may be required

Thank You so much for your help. My switch is mechanically broken but electrically working great. I Put the switch back on without mounting it and I’m not hearing any solenoids or any noises when I power it back up just like before. I need to find a sequence of operation and from there I can build my own algorithm. Thanks again.

I have this same exact washer and dryer. This video was beyond painful. Let me save you the pain:
    1. Pause it and open the doors
    2. Unplug it with doors open
    3. Clean out soap/softener compartments
    4. Get 2 large towels and place them along the font bottom of the machine
5 open the door one the bottom left corner and unscrew the white catch. Clean that and let the water drain. Leave it out
    6. Tilt the machine forward until all of the water comes out.
    7. Place it back on flat ground and reinsert and screw in the catch. Close the door and clean everything up.
    8. Plug it back it and get back to it.
Notice no screwdrivers were necessary. Unfortunately, if you own this machine, this is something you’re going to encounter multiple times. Make your life easier. Follow my directions.

It actually works! Thank you! I opened the cap on the little hose as well.

@@luowang5251 you are very welcome. I’m used to taking these things apart. I have kids in the house. If you have the matching dryer, get ready for the heating element to go around 3-5 years. I can tell you how to run a quick diagnostic code. The part is on Amazon for $58.

    • @BeyondAestheticsAZ
      @BeyondAestheticsAZ Рік тому

@@gabbyd5610 you have to hit pause. It will unlock briefly. That is when you will open it an leave it open. If not, play with power on and off.

You get an A++ on the cleaning job you did. I was able to clear the error with less cleaning but great job!

I had the same issue and error code with the same Samsung model. Water was on the floor and I guess it tripped the moisture switches. Based on this video, I checked for clogs in the top binns for dispensers, mine was relatively clean and no drainage issue or just some caked stuff for the softeners.
How I fixed it without opening anything? I found out that my front drainage/gunk filter was clogged (bottom left on the front). After that I tilted the washer forward and went from the back to clean any water and also dried the sensors with dry towel from the bottom (back) while it was front tilted. After that, blew some air via fan for an hour. Once the everything felt dried, connected the power, and it worked.

Yes! Thank you for adding to this community. The water sensor is located near the footings of the washer. Dually noted about the front clog drain. Thanks again for watching and commenting. I appreciate your support.-Siv
