- On today’s episode, we put all of our equipment into winter storage, we decided to sell one of our tractors, Ronnie (our trucker) showed up to start hauling our 1st loads of corn from the bins, my Dad and I cleaned up rotten grain around the $1M bin site, Cooper and I started a project we have wanted to do for over 15 years, I worked out in the shop weight room, and then Edward and I spent some time together. Today was an awesome day! God is good.

Id like to see you and Cooper to give some love to the red dump truck.
Happy Thanksgiving to the cornstarch family farmers feed America God bless❤😊
I've watched since you started cleaning the farm up and it looks so much better these days.
The lighting company did well on speccing the lights out, and standing behind them... wish the Bin Installers did the same....
HAPPY THANKSGIVING. GOD BLESS YOU ALL IN ALL THINGS
That's not the fuel pomp noise when you turn the switch off its the Adblue pomp that's sucks remaining Adblue from system :D
Your boy is gonna love the farm life as much as you do, Cole.
No fencing makes for happy deer 😅. I love any cleaning up you do Cole as it shows such respect for your family’s reputation and for your land use. Good video.😊 happy turkey day!
Hey Cole, with you and your dad, who I really like and respect a lot, posting your videos at the same time as this, it gives one to suspect a "competition" might be taking place..., and it ain't even close. However, your dad just might have a future as an actor, screenwriter, producer/director, judging by that commercial him and your mom made.
I always thought it was so we could get a double dose of CornStars ! 👍
Yeah, it is, of course, but there is absolutely no denying that Cole and his dad are most certainly in competition with each other which very wholesome competition between father and son I've witnessed many times before. This makes both men, better men in the end, with there being a kind of "heartbreaking" aspect to it all which is that Cole and very probably Trooper as well, really can't appreciate how very close they are to their dad and the fact that Daddy Cornstar is circumspect in every regard will ..., how should I put this..., make the inevitable parting even more unbearable which hopefully won't be for at least another 60 or 70 years. In any case, for me and my house which at this time constitutes me and my four cats, that very far in the future parting and the accompanying grief wouldn't detract for one second from the relationship they are all now enjoying. @@dalegereaux1863
I woke up and decided to buy a skid steer. UA-cam videos convinced me. But I live in a city, so I put it in the back... and haven't moved it.
Always a great day when cole posts!
Still love seeing you clean up around the farms keep up the good work
Your old red dump truck is so handy for so many jobs!
HI Cole. That is the def pump clearing the lines.
Hey Papa Cole, You are One Buff Farmer Daddy !!
Hey Cole, they make drones with a range in the tens of air-miles. Might be useful for site-survellience.
Don't let those muscles fool you into thinking you're stronger than you are, a friend of mine totally messed up his back he was in therapy for 4 years.
You need a rake stye grapple bucket for picking up the fence wires, and a magnetic rake for the Staples in the ashes. Or youll have flat tires forevermore. 20:58
10:50 outdoor over hang for equipment to stay outside but out of most of the elements
It is much more fun to watch you clean, sort and store equipment than harvest, and just think, since you are pulling all those fence lines you and cooper can get a hovercraft to scoot around in the winter without getting stuck
Love that big old MF articulating tractor.
Looks like you guys are doing good
Little Edwards getting pretty big he's so darn cute
That's the def pump you were hearing after the tractor shut off
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Have enjoyed
Your channel since you started
And Nava came to the Farm.
You should make sure you don’t shut the kill switch off until the def pump stops it can mess it up
Not your fuel pump. It’s your DEF pump sucking the def from motor back to get it to the insulated tank to help prevent freezing damage.
Spray paint lines on thw floor for your cemetery trailer. Makes it easy to identify where space is already claimed.
Replacement Corner posts While pulling the old posts! They are the Corner Markers of the Sections! 23:07 😊 you don't need to start Land Owner Wars!
So nice to see harvest done.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
its always a wonderful little treat to see a quick climpse of your sweet boy and his Momma :) I remember when you first started working out in the barn, you have attacked your goal of becoming physically with the same commitment and passion that you have taken on cleaning up the farm and trying to help review and if necessarry revise current processes on the farm to help take advantage of new technology, new science and working together with your Dad and brother build the farm out to be the best it can be. Its been pretty amazing to watch this all happen over the last few years.
Good morning
I hope you are able to make some major headway on your house this winter. It'll relieve some stress and make you feel so much better about the home situation. You've got so much to be grateful for. Keep doing what you are doing and the Lord will continue to bless you and your family.
Cole developing "Dad Strength" which peaks around age 35-40 and usually ends up causinig a slipped disc around age 45-50 : )
Happy Thanksgiving to your whole family. May you have great holidays ahead!❤️🦃
Thanks for sharing looking forward to seeing little Edward growing up on the farm
😅
Reading Eduard books is the greatest job you will ever do.
@14:21 that liquid made by the corn when it sets is something like mash it don't smell to good but when made according to directions and run through a still you can get some 'shine.
And that ethanol they make for gasoline that is hauled by rail I believe it's denatured at the refinery , not sure though.
Love the organization you have done over the years
Thanks for the video!
Keep up the good work Cornstar family🤠👍👌
Working out: "Do the hard part when we're FRESH"...Most of us would fall in the bed after A FULL day like you had! You seem to have ENDLESS energy!
I love learning the different names of your equipment and explaining what the are purposed for. When you said you were selling a grain hopper my mind immediately started to wonder what that was! When I can follow along with your discussion, I feel that I’ve learned something! Great job and working hard together as a team. I love the way you take good care of your machinery…keeping it clean and dry neatly organizing in for the winter. Your family is a role model to good safe wise farming practice. I love watching your videos ❤️
Wonderfully stated!
Cole, too bad you don't have SimpliSafe installed at Luke and Ashley's. You could have brought up the camera and seen what was in the shed before driving over there. 👍😉
Great video thanks for sharing
Might be the def pump u hear after turning off kill switch. It sucks the lines dry to keep them from freezing and damaging them. On deeres you need to wait for pump to quit before turning it off
That is exactly what it was. It was NOT the fuel pump.
Its not the fuel pump its def pump pumping the urea back to the tank thats in the lines so it don’t freeze, thats why that doesn’t disconnect from the battery switch
Love seeing the glimpses of your family time. Thanks for another good video. When i was a teen I worked for a neighbor and spent probably a solid month pulling old fence out with nothing but a 4 wheeler and a manual post puller.
Cole we love you videos in Texas. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your great little young family. I had no idea the science behind growing corn lol as an engineer it is really interesting to me. I kind of want to get me some heavy equipment now lol.
All ways getting better. Farm really nice. ❤❤❤❤❤
Put the side panels back on your Oliver
I appreciate how connected you are to the weather. I work from home on my laptop and rarely think about temperature or wind. It's very interesting to be reminded how some professions are much more in tune.
Lil Edward is so precious 🩵 Neva’s gonna have a hunk of a husband 🤭🫢 Baby coming soon 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Spent many hr on 2745 it was our big tractor at the time.
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 to all the Cornstars god bless them all 🙏🙏 from a 🇨🇦✌️ fan
Always exciting to see the equipment cleaned up and stored away. Had you not said anything, I doubt most viewers would not have known the fences were still standing. Have a great Thanksgiving week and stay safe!! Blessings!
Great quick explanation of how you sell your corn and pricing.
Enjoyed the vedio, of the closure of the harvest winterizing of all the equipment, and too, the fence clean up. To you and all of your family members, including your newest ones, "Happy Thanksgiving"; and "thank you" for allowing us into your lives!!!
You need to find new panels for your Oliver
I hope you have a spotter
When you start a massey V8 the throttle needs to be full open. there should also be a cold-start button on the pump.. but im not sure.
What a fun time watching these videos thanks for all you do god bless
You all have come a long way Corn Star's, so efficient and well thought out. love to watch you work pull those nasty fences. Happy Thanksgiving and all the sharing, love too Nava and Edward.
Busy, good days on the farm.
We used to have the 2745 lil brother 285 with cab. Great video 👍🏾
Love the sarcasm around 13:15... keep rocking out the great videos! Congrats on the family!
Always love to see Nave & Eddy if for only a few seconds.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your entire family!
Great show today !
In case you're not on again before Thursday, Happy Thanksgiving !
Hey Cole I feel like you could reverse all trailers, tractors and trucks into the shed so they're fast and easy to get out also park stuff in order of use so people don't have to move as much stuff out of the way to get something out idk like structure it in a way so it's easy to get to as many machines and trailers as possible to save time🙂
Always a good day when Cole uploads🌽
Awesome always cool stuff always thanks 😎
Hello all
you should probably contact your electrician and get him to relocate all the electrical conduit off the cocreate slab below the dryer so it would be much easier to clean.
And less likely to prematurely rust. Lol
Need a hose basket for the grain vac, to keep hose on and secured. And a cargo net for over it.
I love the old Masseys. Grew up working fields with a 2805 and a 2775. I always enjoy when you get them out to work Cole!
Good job Cole 👍
The difference in all of your farm land is amazing and such a great credit to you all for doing the hard yards. I remember all the messy trees and fences, they looked bad lol. Now it's looking like a classy farm!! Always love to see Naive and Edward too, that's a bonus :)
That wasn’t the fuel pump you where heating that was the def pump and they reason that have is set up like that is because people get impatient and shut the power off before the machine can purge the line of def and then you have a vented def line
My grt grandparents started out with 160 acres and ended up with over 600 acres .
Is one of your winter projects to redo the stakebed on the dump truck?
Hey Cole, Look at investing in a Milwaukee Power Broom attachment that plugs into their weed whacker motor. That will clean up that hard pack corn from underneath the machines very easily!
Happy Thanksgiving for you and your family.
Hi Cole, think about hanging your conduit off the dryer frame and on the side of the conveyor. It keeps it up out of the way for cleaning and traps a lot less debris.
I usually like this kind of content ( still do of course), but right now all I really want to see is you spending your time and money inside, working on your house.😢
In a few weeks your life, Nievas life especially, will be drastically intense.
It's a huge blessing, really, but you can't imagine now hard it also is going to be, over all.😅
Make sure your house works well for the coming years. Honor your wife by putting her needs over the farms.
Hopefully, probably (?),you' ve already done this off camera!🎉
Eagerly waiting for that video.😉🤗
I love your vids man keep it up
Take a grinder with cutoff wheel along when doing fence work. Easy cut.
Awesome video Cole. 🚜🚜🚜
Kristen and crusty rusties . So many field, so many names, so little time.
Couldn't you put something below the dryer to catch the dust and make it easier to remove? Like a tarp or something.
I agree getting a long awaited projects completed is so satisfying! I agree!! Great work on the fence removal! 👏👏👏👏
This video begs the question so WHEN is the porch project getting completed ? Grin!!
Big machine shed could really do with an LED light upgrade. Would look completely different fully illuminated while moving equipment about.
Those machines are terrible. What a great video. Happy Thanksgiving to you. COLE
bro wdym these machines are terrible??
Great video
😮nice cole ❤
Farms constantly pull fence. Rancher constantly building fence 😂
Where there are two fences closer together, it might be a lane so cattle can be moved to different fields used as pasture. Dairy farms had them in my area. The small 5 or ten acre fields would have corn one year, oats the next then alfalfa for hay for two or three years then used as pasture with the cows self fertilizing before starting the cycle over. All of the crops were used for livestock like cows, pigs and chickens. Now most farms don't raise any livestock so it's mainly corn and soybeans being grown.
lets see how FULL the BINS ARE!!!! And a yield report vs last year!
It's great that all the equipment is clean. The bin site is cleaned up too great work guys. Why get rid of the small tractor when it's running great.
DST is what we went off of, back onto standard time. If you want it to stay light, longer into the afternoon/ evening according to the clock, you would want DST all year. By "falling back" when going to standard time, sunset happens an hour earlier. 9:25
You weren't hearing the fuel pump running, after shutting the disconnect off. That was the pump pulling the DEF out of the system, putting it back into the DEF tank, so it doesn't freeze in the system causing issues/ breakage.
Thanks Cole for the video. I enjoy your videos. In this one I noticed and and others (this is only a observation) I think you know Chet over at Larson farms. I believe that you could benefit from the vacuum system they use on the bobcat skid steer for these kinds of clean up projects. much quicker. If you wish please check it out.
Thanks Cole, put that planter closer to the door, you're gonna need to work on it soon.
you keep teaseing us with that JEEP in the background around 15 :20 ... Best keep that thing FOREVER!!!!
