Maybe it's time to let Cooper drive the red Volvo semi for a few trips and then he will know what to fix. 😉
Then we can all say,
attaboy Cooper !
10:56 "These iron weeds are just terrible!" LOL. You sure make my day!
You're so right about the view. There's nothing like seeing a beautiful farm and the fields. I love to watch the planting, how fast or slow the crops are growing, and harvest. The view with a bit of dust in the air tints the sunlight at sunset... beautiful and serene 😊❤
Its probably the throttle control sensor on the throttle pedal
Had this same issue with an international. It was the pedal
Best of Luck Getting The Red Semi Fixed. Anything Electrical or Electronic that moves can give trouble.
its so cool to come into the comments and seeing people trying to help with your temperamental semi.....blessings to the entire Cornstar family...
I laugh so hard every time Cole says ‘Grind ‘em til you find ‘‘em’ 😂. I used to drive water trucks, trucks with trailers and feed trucks when I was growing up on my family ranch. My dad NEVER looked at all amused when I would grind the gears
My hats off to ya Cole.....that meal is getting old real fast and I don't even have to eat it!! Time to change it up a bit!! Peas, green beans, broccoli, steak, rice, baked potato. Yummy!! Give your stomach some variety mister!! 😋 😊
Some days it is difficult for me also to get all the food I need for my health. One thing iv realize this year is don't try to make up for it the next day. It will hurt you in the long run. The days I'm to busy and forget I spread it out throughout the following week and for me I feel it keeps me on track that way. I'm sure your busy harvesting and will skip a few meals but maby try it the way I do. Glad to see the progress you have got done so far
If you miss a day then just move on, don’t try to make it up just move on to the next day. Sometimes it’s nice to have a day where you just eat however much you want to instead of pushing to what your goal is, it’s a nice break
Time to change the fuel filters
Or the lift pump
@@agger838 had a massey do the same thing leavin me stranded, after about 30 40 seconds, no throttle, dies, it was the lift pump on that thing, happened in the middle of our harvest too, really annoys you when it works for a little bit then dies. almost has you thinkin you can drive a standard
Hello. Fuel filter is always the first go-to. Water condensing in fuel tanks, diesel separating, maybe coolant blowing through the injectors, or even a turbo going out. Put it in the shop if the fuel filter doesn't do it. It's not worth the aggravation guessing. Thank you for driver appreciation. You set a great example as farmer, husband, and jock. Stay healthy. My neighbor fell off the top of their silo. So many injuries can happen on farm, be safe. ✌️
Cole, there are a lot of nutrition suppliments on the market that can help you get your required daily intake. Just do your homework and seek out the advice your physician and fitness nutritionist. They will be able give you the most sound advice. Keep the great content coming and have a safe harvest. Cheers from Edmonton, Alberta
May The Lord continue to bless y'alls harvest.
Great harvest going on ! That Volvo truck needs to have a meet up with Cooper 👍
You are such a bunch of hard working guys!
Harvest time is the good time! Thanks for all you do!
Hard working family there! Much respect! ❤👊🏼
Love and Peace to you and your family, Cole.
Had a car that did the same as the red semi. It was a faulty fuel filter that was overheating. Drove it till it choked off the fuel, let it sit for an hour and it would drive fine till it happened again. Don’t know if diesel engines have a fuel filter but worth a look.
Dad knows it all. Love yah mah farm family. Good luck with everything.
Everyone has said it. You and all the professional farmers are very much appreciated. Don’t let corporate world buy up all the farm land, we can’t let the few billionaires control our food supply. It’s quietly happening from off shore companies. We’ve seen it with the Saudi and the hay they grow here and ship it back home. They would rather build multi million dollar structures out in the desert with lakes I guess.
What a great AMERICAN FAMILY these guys are
Thank you Cole! God bless your family!
DC coming in clutch with the diagnosis.."does it have fuel?"
I respect and admire you and your family for your hard work and dedication to your family, your YT, and running all aspects of the farm! I wish I could just spend a weekend of harvest with you guys. And just learn, I’ve always wanted to experience it but never had the opportunity. Best wishes for you all!
Hi Cole, please give us more combine and drone footage of that red beauty!! 🤟I like you switching light switches, but during the most exciting event of the year I hope we could get a little bit more from your machinery 😉
Keep kicking butt Cole!!
Thank you Cornstar family for all that you do and the information that you provide for us. Cole hope the wife is feeling well. Edward is getting so big and he has a lot of hair.
Rubbing alcohol will clean the sticky off the rubber handles.
use the good stuff for your imbibing and cheap stuff for the handles.
Every year I watch you harvesting I am amazed about the size of your operation. In Poland we have farms and equipment around 10% of your size. Totally different approach.
Awesome video Cole. Stay safe out and about. 🚜🚜🚜
Now THERE'S the cutest face in the western hemisphere...baby Edward.
I saw you wake up with your son.I hope you cherish every moment with him at this age. Time flies so fast, and those moments go away just as fast. All of a sudden, my son became a senior in high school and is taller than me.They say there will be a day (that you can't remember when you picked up your child the last time). This happened to me. Cherish these times.
Cole you need to get with the Welker farm they have a electronic eye for where to stop to unload 😊
i drove a beer truck for a bit over a year. freightliner m2 daycab and a 20 bay mickey beverage trailer (~43'). i had to back into several of my stops, a few of them off busy 2 lane highways... i got real good at backing up quick lol.
The Volvo issue seems like it might be an ecu or something electrical related. In short, good luck.
P.S. I appreciate the appreciation as a driver and I appreciate you and the long hours farmers put in to keep us all fed and fueled. Thanks Cole!
I suggest throwing a good 2 pound Porterhouse with a backed potatoe and corn. Not sure on the health aspect but dang it sure tastes good.
How to fix sticky gas pump handle: isopropyl alcohol, gloves and lots of rags. Saturate a rag with isopropyl alcohol, poor alcohol on sticky area of pump handle and rub the sticky off. It takes a bit of time rubbing but works awesome. I have been able to save many sticky objects with this method.
I take vit c when I start feeling sick every hr until one or two things happens I get dirrahea or my urine turns a bright yellow. Then I take them every 3 to 4 hrs. Usually nips it in the bud. Thanks for sharing!
I remember having to work super long hours several days in a row.
I'm glad I don't do that anymore !
My Semi is broken too. Clutch went out while I was on the pit at the elevator. Suffered the ultimate humiliation of having to be towed off the pit and over the scale!!
Daddy corn star jinxed the ole Volvo in his last video..😂😂..🎉🎉 cheers
Put a bag full of oranges and apples in your ride!! 😊
Thanks
Always start with the simplest thing first. Fuel level, filters. Lift pump. Then try throttle pos sensor. From what I can see on the video I think it will be one of the first 3 I mentioned. Even if filters are new change them anyway. KISS
Speed sensor perhaps. It could be the Volvo nameplate too.
Cole, Cole he’s the man if he can’t do it …….Daddy Cornstar can‼️❤GOD BLESS EVERYBODY❤Cooper Rock🚜
Interesting day. Successes and break downs of the semi.
I just said a prayer for you Cole. I also included your Dad and Cooper. Take care of yourselves out there.
Cole, dad,Cooper family buy upgrade used semi truck, or back semi truck just case one dies break down . It might help you long run. Good luck with semi truck, and combine. Good video's keep up good work.
We do have an extra one on the cemetery trailer if we need it!
@@ColeTheCornstar what year semi truck Volvo, and Freightliner? Thanks again answer my questions great video keep up good work thanks
Cole Check the battery connections. Sometimes that could be a problem they might not be tired enough.
Tea with honey and ginger..😊😊😊😊
There is a white little wire in the batterie box u loosing connection for your truck to stay running ..... electrical issue ... put new connection on the wire and if that doesn't work follow to ecm and look for damage....
Make sure its full of coolant. Some trucks wont start or run right if coolants is low
Red semi Maybe it it is the Fuel Filter clogged up ? Or a loose fuel line fitting allowing air to get into the fuel line ?
Glad your dad makes the effort to make videos damn good guy
Take Good Care Brother and extended Family
That was a job! Glad Stephen is in good shape! Nice video my SBF husband!
pull the accessory drive off of the d12, the fuel pump drive shaft wears it out, it should have a slot in it (like a flat blade screwdriver) it will be almost gone or gone and is not turning the fuel pump, the accessory drive turns the alternator on the left front of the engine, you will need the accessory drive and a fuel pump if it is worn out, search youtube with this phrase, installing fuel pump to accessory drive on volvo d12, will bring up the parts, you have to look down the bore of the accessory drive to see the worn out slot, but you and cooper are smart guys, good luck
We had a truck doing something similar. We changed all the fuel filters and rhat didn't help. Finally found out the fuel line coming from the tank was old and was collapsing when it was trying to pull fuel
welker farms have a nice way to line up with the auger that gets you within like 3"
Ivers farms on UA-cam has a reversing reel on their case ih combine. They said it is now a dealer installed option. They may be running macdon heads. Don't know if that makes a difference
Yes I think the recent video they said macdon
Hope your truck is ok, love to hear what is wrong, call the mechanic? May all of you bins be full, and have cab bean overflow, its better than bin overflow. LOL.
More colors on your dinner plate. Nutrition is important
What is it lacking. Eggs provide 98% of what you need alone
Throttle pedal sensor? That's my guess. If I'm right I want a shirt.
🤘😎
Had that happen something similar and it was the throttle position sensor harness
Yep, Harvest is going on in my neck of the woods
33 year trucker with 5 million miles , Thanks for shouting us out !!
I got a tank of biofuel with algae in it. Green fuel cost me $100’s in filter changes and biocides.
Could be the electronic throttle petal that died, I'd check that before anything else. Changing the fuel filters might not a bad idea either.
Sorry to see your diesel issues. Sounds like airlocks but who knows.
The truck problem could be the electronic throttle. ben there done that!
Its a bad battery ground... Volvo/mack common issue.
I had that happen with a volvo. Coolant level sensor.
When ya not feeling well, perfectly fine for your appetite to slow down.
Wonder if it's the fuel injectors or the computer thing. I had a truck that did that and the computer was saying it was cold or hot and would shut it down. I also had an injector in a car that done a similar thing
Curious why you haven't cut off the anchor bolts were the old grain bin location? I would worry about accidentally running over them and putting a hole in a tire.
Just thoughts not hating.
Day in the life. Thanks for the motivation...
Try a new fuel filter on your red truck
Thank you sir for the respect
U can get auger extension, or get a smaller head...
Good job! Don’t forget to put your flags away that are on the grain cart!
Fuel filter or injectors maybe clogged ??
Send it to Coopers truck shop and it will be good as new by morning. That crew would be tough to beat.
Variety is the spice of life. Switch up the food!
Time to get 379 Petes with 425 cats 3406
Hey Cole, loving the consistent content posts. Awesome to see that even though harvest takes up so much of your energy and time, you still manage to post so many videos. Big kudos, keep on rolling🔥🔥🔥
My mom had the same dinner plates in the 70's.
Turn the fan down to 1050 to 1090. Dry beans don't need much air.
Check out the hopper marker that Leg Arms created for unloading their semi trailers, ezzy pezzy
Love the sunset
I'm a retired truck driver, I've had that same problem with a few trucks over the years. It's the pedal assembly it self on the floor. usually 4 bolts and one wiring connector to change out.
I love your diet lol, kinda the opposite of what I do to maintain weight... I only eat one "meal" a day... went from 215-150 before I found out I had an autoimmune disorder... looking forward to seeing hulk the cornstar after eating like that all winter lol
Something's always wrong... 😉
Thanks a lot for the video! 😊👍🏻
You might have a bad TPS (throttle position sensor).
That's what I was thinking. One or more sensors.
Had this issue with a international. The accelerator pedal failed
Variety in your diet is not unhealthy..
Great progress you Lads 😉😎 keep hydrated 🤪
And that is what you call real ironweed I like that
God bless everyone
Could the problem with the truck be an air issue?
I have an '84 volvo F12 that has a pneumatic accelerator pedal. Not sure if yours has that as well.
Also if you have a cable idle up that might be able to be used to confirm/deny whether the pedal is an issue.
That’s all electronic. Probably pedal assembly
