Only 6% of the entire world is used for farming, and a lot of the people who are farmers are older people who are susceptible to scams such as this one. This scam is almost identical to one I'm familiar with that was running about 7 years ago. The difference is instead of farm equipment they were selling puppies. I learned of the scam when a woman drove 4 hours to my rural home to pick up her puppy. The scammers "sold" her a puppy and gave my address for the pickup. The scam normally involved shipping the puppy, but for some reason, they said she could pick the puppy up. Needless to say, she was very disappointed to learn I was not a dog breeder and that she had been scammed. The police got involved, but there was nothing to be done. It always struck me as cruel that the scammers, after stealing her money, let her drive 4 hours to pick up a puppy that didn't exist.

A farm equipment scam happened to my granddaddy recently. We live in South Georgia and He owns an equipment company and a man from Nigeria reached out to him and asked if he could put a blade on a tractor for him that he had recently bought from somebody down the road. I don’t know how much it was but it was definitely over 600 bucks. He never paid the money. We never got any compensation.
This videos are so important! Thank you for exposing scammers and allerting us! Could I suggest also to please investigate the daily supplements scams? I have one example myself!
As someone who works at an ag shop, you can see some red flags right off the bat. Biggest one being price, that John Deere would go for $150,000+ with what I can assume is 2625 hours. Which brings up another red flag because equipment use is not measured in distance but in time.
I wonder if you could effectively "flash mob" these scammers sometime. Just coordinate a bunch of scambaiters to all call the same day or within a couple days trying to buy the same item. Would be fun to watch.
You should do a video on scammers who say they're selling dogs online. There are so many fraudulent places selling puppies. One place I called to make an appointment to see the puppies the following day and first they told me that I should wire them a deposit because the puppy might be gone by morning. Supposedly they were closed now and open at 9am the next morning, when I planned to arrive. I said no, I will wait until tomorrow, I want to see them first. Then, it was high pressure to get me to wire a deposit, he then changed it to that I have to put a deposit down in order to see the puppies!! Of course I said no. But there are tens of thousands of these puppy scammers online. It would be helpful to people to know that the MAJORITY of puppy places online are fraudulent. Just a suggestion because I didn't realize that until I started looking for a puppy.

Good detective work sir! I can't imagine buying this equipment online without seeing it in person, but apparently someone does. I must have visited my local JD dealership a half dozen times just to look at a pallet fork and box blade before taking it home. Can't tell you how many times I walked in, phoned, or emailed about the tractor before buying it. Thanks for exposing these shysters.
Thanks for sharing these scams, A friend of mine here in Canada told me about a dealership called LL equipment in New Mexico who had tractors he was interested in a couple years ago. I went to the site and figured it was a scam just like this. I actually spent half a wet day here in the farm office google searching tractors and construction equipment they supposedly had. I found it all over in previous listings, it wasn't hard to spot as the back ground in some pictures didn't look like places in the USA or other country registration numbers on machines appeared to. I even found pictures of their workshop staff they had stolen, 1 was actually a youtuber I was subscribed to here in Canada of all things you could read his name on the back of his coveralls while working on a kubota ! A year later I searched the company and all the complaints from people getting scammed came up, and they'd vanished. I've seen the same happen in Ebay listings in the US for machines and found them for sale with dealers in the U.K that actually own them at the time. The last one I found was a fairly new JCB backhoe loader, I reported it to the company to watermark their pictures and to eBay who just kept the listing up and didn't care . Take care

Speaking of farming, now they have scam ads for farm animals. Parents went across the state to buy a donkey. They got half way there before the scammer asked them to pull over to buy Google Play gift cards for a deposit.
My theory is, an American that knows a thing or two about tractors moved to Bulgaria, and thought of scamming his countrymen back home. A true patriot.
On the Fordyce scam, I was about to give the scammer props for imitating the Western U.S. accent quite well. But then as I'm typing such in the comments, we hit the 14:28 mark of the video... "SHEEPments" instead of "shipments." One simple vowel revealed his non-U.S. location. EDIT: aaah, then he does it again in the word "that" several times. The "th" sound is actually pretty tough for non-English speakers to imitate, since it doesn't exist in most other languages. Thus, we hear a lot of "dis and dat" or "zis and zat" instead of "this and that" when spoken by people for whom English is not the first language.
Scammers will watch emails between legitimate salesmen and farmers too. I won't say which dealer I work for, but we had a farmer who was working on a deal for a new tractor with our salesman. He wasn't happy with the price he was quoted and took a few days to think over the purchase. During this time, he got an email from a scammer using our salesman's email spelled very similar but different (they added an s to the company name) saying we would knock off 20% if he wired the cash. Unfortunately, he fell for it.
I've wondered why you guys don't just put the scammers number in the comments or description. I'm sure plenty of us wouldn't mind wasting their time as well.
I’m not sure I know a farmer who would start out with some of these huge vehicles: they start smaller and know their vendor. And yet, these people wouldn’t be online if it wasn’t working. Then most of my nearby neighbors aren’t online: they don’t have electricity.

Oh lord, the bare faced cheek! 😮 PS. we have a lot of this BS in the UK - Especially small/medium sized, second hand construction plant. Great post! 👍
Lesson to be learned: NEVER buy such high value equipment without seeing it in person. If it’s a scam they’ll always come up with an excuse why you can’t come check it out right now.

100% one my favourite videos. The editing, the green screen the driving part, the tinewasting absolutely perfect. You nailed this
The website is down! I love your Georgia accent! I'm from SGA and this makes me so happy protecting my customers!
Mic Rophone! I’m dying! Not only are you wasting these scammers’ time, but you expose them in all their stupidity! Well done!
Please elaborate
The best thing about this video is the accents, their foreign accents, and how you change your accent to southern accent.😂😂
These scumbags never cease to amaze me
bro your content is getting better day by day and week by week and month by month and year by year
You know its a scam when my boy ain't got no Southern Accent! 😂😂😂
Are you working now?
"Yeah" so professional. Clearly he's got this scamming people thing down.
Clicked on this because my credit cards were hacked and they tried to buy farm equipment in Arkansas. Thanks for all you do to shut down these mofos.
Scammers also seem to be invading a lot of hobbyist groups too, I have seen them in vintage TV/radio groups, and now in the Hammond organ community.
They're in the model train community too
@@Ephra_wangai They’ve even gotten there too? Holy shit.
This videos are so important! Thank you for exposing scammers and allerting us! Could I suggest also to please investigate the daily supplements scams? I have one example myself!
Clearly been getting some “kitboga” schooling on green screen use :)
😅
He did.
@@SilentHillFetishist did he??? Dang, I've been watching his videos for a few years, I must've missed it. Thank you, I appreciate your information. I'll go back and try to find it. Thanks again, have a great day! 🙂
Animal shelter and professional real breeders, not backyard breeding
That Bulgarian Max Fordyce attempt at American accent 🤣🤣🤣
Really believable for the first few seconds, then he immediately lost it and started sounding like my coworker from Serbia. Not that the scammer is from there, just that he has a similar accent.
That ending was too funny! He was super mad! 🤣🤣🤣
Take care
"Are you open?"
* "No, for some reason we answered the phone while being closed."
Hey Pleasant Green!
Your videos are always so insightful and eye-opening. The information you provide is not only fascinating but also incredibly valuable. It's clear that you put a lot of effort into researching and sharing your findings with others. You truly deserve recognition for the impact you're making in people's lives. Keep up the fantastic work, and know that your efforts are making a difference every day.
Cheers,
Ric
It’s always funny when they break character outta nowhere lol 😂
Speaking of farming, now they have scam ads for farm animals. Parents went across the state to buy a donkey. They got half way there before the scammer asked them to pull over to buy Google Play gift cards for a deposit.
My theory is, an American that knows a thing or two about tractors moved to Bulgaria, and thought of scamming his countrymen back home. A true patriot.
No he is not an American you can tell that he has a fake accent and that it falls off occasionally
Read again that comment. You misunderstood@@manav-df7ke
Mark McCann also just made a fantastic video on this, exact same situation with cars. Great you're exposing this fraud/scam! Keep up the great work!
15:32 that WHERE? was priceless 😭
"Madder than a mosquito in a mannequin factory." I'm going to use that!
I absolutely loved the last one! 🤣 (Scamming aside) He was actually somewhat halfway intelligent!
Pleasant Green & a guest appearance from Deyo , great video!
That is why I only buy cash on delivery. No item delivered, no money sent. And the delivery guy has to wait and see me, or they don't get paid.
That ending was priceless keep up the good work 👍🏼
I'm from the UK and I absolutely love these you tube videos.. keep getting those scammers bud
That ending was beautiful. You could almost feel the exasperation in the scammers voice at the mere mention of Mike Rafone.
I've wondered why you guys don't just put the scammers number in the comments or description. I'm sure plenty of us wouldn't mind wasting their time as well.
Love your work! Keep it up man! Especially when you can hear the disappointment in the scammers voices, big fan.
I swear scammers are such losers poor farmers
@france6873 yeah i never thought bulgarians would get into this but oh man was I wrong...
I’m not sure I know a farmer who would start out with some of these huge vehicles: they start smaller and know their vendor. And yet, these people wouldn’t be online if it wasn’t working. Then most of my nearby neighbors aren’t online: they don’t have electricity.
@france6873 Nah both those two have had their share of scammers for some time. Kenyan scammers especially notorious for facebook scams.
I saw videos about Nigerian scammers operating out of Cypress.
@@RoguePhysicist dang
Funny the Bulgarian scammers are Ukrainians in Bulgaria - Ukraine has an industrial scamming operation, that makes the Indian one's pale into insignificants!
Oh lord, the bare faced cheek! 😮
PS. we have a lot of this BS in the UK - Especially small/medium sized, second hand construction plant.
Great post!
👍
Wow. Those dirty rotten scammers. What ? Not even discounts, huh ? 😂😂😂
The over-the-top Southern accents are killing me! 😂😂😂
I had the same problem....I tried to buy a sheep online....
As someone who lives in South Georgia- this is ridiculous!!
As someone who lives in North Georgia - I'm with you!!!
Damn i live for these videos
Me too!
Lesson to be learned: NEVER buy such high value equipment without seeing it in person. If it’s a scam they’ll always come up with an excuse why you can’t come check it out right now.
"fields and barley" 🤣
I watch a lot of your videos. Im not sure what made this better. But for some reason this is one of your better and funnier videos. I love it. Thanks
That Indian accent was a dead giveaway lol
I’ll admit it.. I didn’t realize your name was microphone until the end either. Absolutely hilarious video! 😂
Max worked on his accent too, it was pretty decent, there is hints in there though, especially when he gets nervous 😂
Im from Bulgaria i once make a application for job on this types of call centers ( i didnt know it was for scamming) They require you to do a detector test and ask some questions to see if you are lying . They pay 900€ in month and about 400€ in bonuses depends in how much you sell ( Scam). Owners of those call centers in Bulgaria are from Israel most of the employers are students who dosent know that are scamming .
