He should come back and start in 25. He can win at ND if it’s where he loves, stay! These two new guys coming in can’t pass him up. This why is a winner!

Danielson also said that Love doesn’t have breakaway speed. Then neither announcer knew who was calling plays. 🙄🙄

I expect to see Notre Dame’s offense be more aggressive under Mike Denbrock. Denbrock is a very experienced OC and will know what he has in his players and how to get the most out of them. Parker has next to no experience and didn’t seem to know what to do, or what the hell was going on in his WR room, with his WR coach.

Angeli is a great kid but he is in no way the QB that can lead us to a NC. I’m not sure about Riley Leonard or if he can lead us but I feel better about him leading ND over Angeli. I am very confident that CJ Carr and/or Deuce Knight being the type of talent ND needs if they want to win a title. Angeli is more along the lines of Ian Book or Tommy Rees, he can win a lot of games but not when the games matter most.

Still seems wrong to let Angeli go and just give the job to Leonard. He played well with what he had and what he was asked to do. I’m not a “peanut butter Angeli is Brady Quinn” guy, but hope there’s a legit QB competition in the spring (if he stays that long).

I believe the coaching staff knows what they have in Steve, also the last word will be Between Gino, Coach Freeman and Coach Denbrock 👍🏼

Nobody is letting Angeli go. The staff know what they have in Angeli that's why they didn't hesitate to go after Riley Leonard. You sound like one of the "geniuses" who wanted Pyne and Buchner instead of Sam Hartman. Both those guys are no longer playing football. How'd that work out? Asking for a friend. Go Irish

If the staff thought Steve was a championship caliber QB they would not have gone in the portal, twice. This won’t be a real competition, especially since The Fund probably paid out a chunk of money for Leonard and the other transfers. They aren’t coming out of the kindness of their hearts or because they love ND, they are coming because ND had a nice financial offer. I said it in another comment, Angeli is more along the lines of a Tommy Rees or Ian Book. He can win a lot of middle of the road games but would lead ND to the same mediocrity that ND fans accepted for far too long under Kelly; mediocrity that Freeman has already shattered in recruiting.

Noone is letting Angeli go , he's gonna compete for the starting job and 8 the doesn't win he'll be 2nd string like last year .
Don't listen to the ignorant haters like Sampson and Tom Loy. they never played a down of anything D1 sports and it shows..

@@mattd8670 just worth remembering the staff thought they were good at WR in 22' & 23' and they weren't. They make mistakes.
