I have a 2013 LX570 that I bought new and after 4 years and 50k miles it still drives brand new. I expect to be able to say that for many more years. Probably the best built and most durable vehicle sold on the market. I've off-roaded it, towed with it, and driven it up to an indicated 138mph stock. It really is a vehicle that can do it all besides corner fast. Haha.
Is it still brand new because I plan to buy the 2022 Lexus lx570 f sport and keep it for at least 6 to 8 years
man, that interior tho is just top notch, Lexus knows how to make a Quality product. the LX570 and Cadillac Escalade have really come into their own lately with Amazing performance, great interiors, and over all top in class luxury for the segment (with exception of the range rover/g wagon)

for everyone nagging about the car, this is the top full-size luxury SUV in its class for luxury, offroad and reliability, the range rover is probably its only competitor, with the Mercedes gl next in line. the escalade and others fall much more behind in terms of luxury and reliability

i rather have this im a badge snob. but the land cruiser acually has better depreciation then this. if you look at them used the same year is about 10k more for the toyota.

I have 2007 LX 470 and it has been a perfect car for the past 10 years, the only complaint....mpg. Most Lexus cars are hybrid except for this beast, the car that needs it desperately.

Great video, well done.
I've always loved watching saabkyle's videos over the years. I like how he covers just about every detail of a car, presses all the buttons and opens up ever cover and compartment to show us what's inside. Most people who do these type of video's skip over so much stuff, but Kyle never does. But I wonder if at some point he might take things in a different direction and start to do the pro's and con's of each car. Yes it's always nice to see and hear about all the glitz and glamour of an automobile, but every REAL car lover, has to have an objective and something that they don't like about a car. Whether it's how a car handles, good or bad performance, leg room space, features, and more. Basically it would be nice to see him "Shift Gears" and do video's like Top Gear or Motor Week has always done. Ya know give a REAL HONEST opinion. Like myself a lot of folks are always looking to purchasing a new/used car and I always start with Kyle's video's to research the cars I'm interested in and see what there all about. Seeing and hearing an honest opinion through these videos of what we're buying always helps.
Awesome review and very well done. The Lexus LX/Toyota Land Cruiser is one of my favorite SUV's out there. Luxurious, reliable and just so nice-looking!
I also love the crafting of the interior, especially the leather, wood, and clock.
Im not a fan of Toyotas/Lexus, but this SUV is one that i would get without thinking it twice. (let it be the land cruiser or the lx570). Very durable and comfortable cars.

Nice ride!! Reminds me of my sister's 2000 Toyo Land Cruiser with the 3rd row folding seats..and limited overall space. They do gey down the road nice...
Anyone else find Lexus's grilles really good looking with the dark grey paint? I think it helps the garish chrome/aluminum trim they have all around the exterior blend in really well.

COOL 2016/2017 Lexus LX570: Off Road Test & In Depth Review
Our old LX470 was the real thing, off-road, luxury, practicality, durability, prestige, reliability, everything...
But this one is my favourite SUV and looks so sexy, but off road?? with these 21 inch wheels? hell no...
Our VVEL DIG is so much better at off roading and an all-rounder, but not as luxurious as this LX570 (cause the VVEL DIG is aging, it's been around for 7 years, so wait till the redesign ;) )
Man I love these rigs! Off-road capability coupled with genuine luxury and Toyota-level reliability equals win win win!!! Even if it is just a nicer Land Cruiser! ;)

You should have done a comparison video between the 2016/2017 Toyota Land Cruiser and the Lexus LX570. But this video works too. :)

I'm a technician, we recently had a LX570 2016 which needed a headlight programming. Single headlight only costs about 2.000$. This car is a SPACESHIP. It's like a SUV version of a Rolls Royce.
Thos LX570 in the video is the worst you could get! Try to review Supercharged ones.
We don't get the supercharged ones in America sadly.

We have a 2017 fully optioned out lx. We've had 5 of them... great cars with awesome quality but this new one seems tinny. The doors seem thinner and our stereo system is not operational and the knobs on the front display fall off and are cheap but other than that great car.

The LX is actually a pretty good value. The LX is only about $5,000 more than a Land Cruiser for even more luxury.

Did you watch the video? Its based on the Toyota land cruiser but the difference between sitting in a Toyota and sitting in a Lexus couldn't be more stark. I drive a 2014 is250 and got a Toyota Camry as a rental car for a repair a while back and it was so dramatically different in terms of drive quality and material quality. Both brands are so reliable and i'm on my way to the Lexus dealership today to possibly purchase a GS350.

The competition also offer more powerful engines that have better fuel efficiency. But to be fair Toyota/Lexus reliability is legendary.
Geert Matthys Because this is just as reliable and capable as a Land Cruiser but it is more luxurious. Some people actually care about these things, that's why Toyota (Lexus) made it. Not me though.

Kyle would you ever consider buying another lexus vehicle to pay homage to the es that you had back in the day?
This Lexus is a top seller I have to say, there are so many of these in my country along with the Range Rover. They are the two top sellers in that price point and above without a doubt. Does this car come with massaging seats option front and rear seats? if it doesn't that's a shame and the Range Rover would clearly by the class leader in this uber luxury Suv segment.

Can someone explain why all Toyota/Lexus V8 motors have that sort of "windy" sound when starting. I noticed it on the 4.7 V8s other displacements.

update: its the electronic e brake/parking brake
because they use massive cooling fans. Our toyota terrifies me everytime it starts up when im standing next to especially when inside the garage lol! it sounds like a mini tornado in there. love it tho haha
Ahhh that makes sense. It does sound imposing. Kinda reminds me of the older V8 Mercedes Benz with the M113 motor. It had a slight whine to it along with the deep exhaust note which sounded great.
