It would be really helpful if there was a close up of all of the parts of the screen the presenter is pointing to, to understand what the heck he's talking about. You have a split screen and only the larger screen is visible. When pointing at soft buttons on the keyboard with your finger, especially with such a crammed UI, it difficult to see what you're talking about. For about a 1/3 of the way into this video I was keeping up, then I got lost in the dust. I simply want to know how to assign the Trem LFO speed to knob 1 and depth to knob 2. I do this and it works when I'm in edit mode. After I save the performance and come back to it, the assignments are lost. No errors, warnings, etc. the assignments simply don't stick. It's maddening when I keep hearing how easy it is to assign knobs yet, I have at best 50% success with this. CLEARLY I'm doing something wrong but for the life of me, I can't figure it out. VERY FRUSTRATING!

All I want to do is morph between two organ sounds. Using super knob I would like for the volume of one part to decrease and the volume of the other part to increase. How do you reverse the volume from increase to decrease.

Can we change modx sliders and knobs for CC#11 expression, CC#1 modulation, CC#21 vibrato, etc instead of buying an additional gear like monogram? I want to use modx as midi controller for a daw. Thank you

Serious 3.0 update is needed for the Modx. A metronome with tempo on the audio recorder, also a random note generator and pattern merger (like splash pro), and a multitrack recorder. If possible would love to be able to export chains to a audio file on Usb. I want to do it all on the Modx i don't want to keep going to a computer to do simple task.

Why is my super knob only working on track 1?

Thanks for this. Yamaha uses a very unintuitive system on the MODX. These kind of drill down settings are very easy to confuse and forget, so that even simple editing is a horrible chore.
I want to get as close as possible to the Whiter Shade of Pale settings. More Shade is not right, although better than a lot of other simulations I've used. Logic Pro X version is useless.

Seems like Yamaha could pony up for a video filmed on something a little better than a potato. I'm on a 17" screen and can't make out any details at all.

It may well be easier to fly a plane than operate a Yamaha synth. Remember the DX7? not much has changed from a programming perspective. Roland wins here.

same with the ram---1 gb---8 librairies & after loading 2 or 3 the . that means all, no more storing! deleting, uploading to change sounds from usb--like good ole dx7 with cartrige and sysex -dump.....retro with touchscreen---;))
      1! GB.......

Havnt got the time to programm all the sounds. would like to buy more well designed sounds to install & play them. but the ram is a joke......no way...very disappointing....load, delete, load, delete, sample memory full...etc..etc.etc 1gb modx /

Yes very frustrating, there's sounds that i want to use but can't because of the small memory, should be someway of taking off the sounds that you don't need & put on the ones that you do need to use.
